Making Waves: Teuila Masina (D) vs Kathleen Hendricks

Unread post by Bare »

Standard Match: Winner declared by pinfall, submission, or ko

Backstage in the LAW the cheers and cries of the audience could be heard reverberating throughout the walls, a sound that could be nerve wracking to some... or serve as a source of excitement for others. "Oh man it must be a packed crowd!" For the one currently by the guerilla position it was definitely the latter. The person in question was a young woman with a toned and athletic physique, bushy brown hair tied in two twin ponytails, tanned skin and a skin tight yellow leotard with knee high red boots, the extremely basic outfit signifying her position as a young lioness

"Mannnn I can't wait to get out there and show my stuff!" In spite of her position as a mere trainee however it wasn't dampening the near palpable energy and excitement coming from the girl as she nearly bounced from foot to foot in excitement. Her name was Teuila Masina, and as any backstage worker could tell even without knowing this was her first match in LAW and understandably was excited. Of course she hadn't done any research on who her opponent was so the air of mystery and anticipation also helped.

Alright kid reign it in you're up." Turning to the worker with bright, almost dazzling eyes of pure excitement Teuila didn't need any other words as she broke out into a run up the ram and out of the backstage entrance out into the crowd with a wide smile on her face. "Whats up!" Shouting loudly to the world Teuila would raise her hand and excitable wave it for the crowd, earning a good few cheers for her positivity.

After a moment Teuila would then begin making her way down the ring, an actual skip to her step as she did so. It wasn't fully intentional, but more so a by product of her excitement for her first match, but it definitely helped in endearing herself to the crowd who only started to cheer and whoop louder for her. Making it to the ring Teuila would walk to the side of it before leaping up onto the apron at a angle, spinning herself around in the process as she grabbed the middle rope while posing with her leg extended out to the side earning another round of cheers. Smiling to herself Teuila would pull herself into the ring before climbing a corner, posing once more for the crowd before hopping down and turning to face the entrance ramp, waiting with anticipation for her opponent to come down.

It wasn't long ago that Kathleen was the new face in LAW, a woman who was getting her first exposure to such a large, mainstream audience, and had to prove themselves in a debut against a daunting opponent. But now, the Queen had quickly grown out of that stage of being the new debutee by defeating her first three opponents, each of which being large, recognizable faces in the company: Yuki Megumi, Alaina Sandra-Hanes and Thereisa Niedermeyer. Her name better be well known among the fans now, and she had even inked her application into LAW Apex's event, where she sought to get the grandest belt in LAW: The Openweight title.

But that was a while out, and Kathleen still had plenty of time to crush new opponents before then. And now, she was the veteran being assigned to work with a hot, new young lioness making her debut, a short, springy middleweight by the name of Teuila Masina. But that's where the similarities ended, or at least, that's what the Queen was aiming for. Teuila wasn't going to get a happy start to her career in LAW, she was going to get a brutal realization of just what the big leagues were all about, at the hands of the Queen of Domination.

Kathleen's music would soon hit the arena as Teuila was in the ring, music that put dread into the hearts of the audience. And Kathleen herself then came out from behind the curtain, a scowl locked on her face, and her piercing eyes glared at nothing but the ring, and her opponent inside.

Walking her way down the ramp, there were no theatrics to her entrance. Kathleen wasn't playing anything up for pops, instead marching up the steel steps, and stepping her body through the ropes to enter the ring, and stare a hole through the rookie who seemed too excited to face her.

"Let's make this quick. I don't have much time for babysitting." Kathleen snarled, settling in her corner and glaring at the referee in a silent demand for them to ring the bell.

Teuila smiled in excitement upon finally hearing the music of her opponent sound throughout the arena. 'Here we go.' She thought to herself with anticipation, doing everything she could to stop herself from bouncing off the mat in excitement. Her first bout was upon her and her first opponent entering the ring, and she was a looker to boot! Something that definitely made Teuila just a little bit more excited. But even so Teuila couldn't help but notice the sheer difference between herself and Kathleen, just off of their entrances and appearance alone.

While Teuila was shorter and more compact, dense muscles belying her true strength Kathleen was tall and elegant, with long limbs that look luscious, but not especially powerful. Likewise there was significantly more color and energy in Teuila's look and personality whereas Kathleen was more akin to the embodiment of darkness itself. Slow and creeping, with a certain elegance and beauty to her, but also a danger if you weren't careful. So Teuila would just have to be careful... or well try to be at least.

Perhaps Teuila was too excited for her own good, or maybe she was being just a bit too naive and trusting for a rookie such as herself. Either way stepped forward as Kathleen entered the ring, hand extended for a friendly hand shake... up until Kathleen spoke. Stopping dead in her tracks Teuila's bright smile slowly fell and turned into a glare as she clenched her fist and looked at Kathleen with a determined glare. "I'm sorry?" She asked tersely, clearly offended by the words and any hope of a positive relationship out of the gate squashed for the younger wrestler.

Kathleen wasn't in the 'friend' business. She was in LAW for one reason, and that was to dominate. Poor little Teuila was offended by the fact that she didn't want to be buddy buddy with her? Tough shit. This was wrestling, where the point of a match was to defeat your opponent. Pain and domination was the name of the game, and Kathleen wasn't making friends with anyone she intended to hurt. And just looking at the young lioness, she seemed to not fundamentally understand that. Were all rookies this obtuse?

No matter, Kathleen wasn't concerned with the problem's of today's youth. She was here to fight, and after giving the two a quick peek, the referee swung their hand to ring the bell and indicate the start of the match!

DING DING!

And like that, the Queen burst out. That extended hand would end up grasped in the end, yet the tight grip of Kathleen's was anything but sporting. It was a clamp, one designed to assure that a mere tug would provide no escape, yet it'd only last a few moments. After that, it was yanked upon, and Kathleen sent Teuila towards one of the corners with an irish whip, and she came speeding towards her opponent. Not quite a track star, Kathleen still took long strides and leapt, aiming to crash the bare point of her elbow right against the skull of the young lioness and rock her clock -- maybe even concuss her if she was lucky.

Welcome to LAW, newbie.

Teuila would stare down Kathleen with a determined gaze on her face. At first she was just eager to show off what she had learned in her debut match against a strong opponent in a friendly bout. However very quickly Kathleen had shown she was not the type of woman to make friends, let alone with Teuila. So despite the intentions that Teuila had come out here with she was quick to let them go, in favor instead of proving herself to this woman.

So naturally as soon as the bell rang starting the match Teuila would dart forward, looking to lock up with Kathleen right off the bat! Unfortunately for the Samoan babe however the dark haired woman was quick to turn on her heel, turning and forcing Teuila across the ring and into a corner!

"Ngh!" Grunting softly as she impacted with the corner there wasn't much Teuila could do in response to what was coming next from her opponent who came crashing in from behind with a elbow spike to the back of her head! "Gah!" Crying out in pain from the impact Teuila was forced further into the corner before dropping down into a kneeling position against it, holding her head in pain and trying to shake her head to clear the ringing noise that was now blaring in her brain, completely open to whatever Kathleen would try next!

Kathleen could see that cute, determined look on Teuila's face. She was just joining the big leagues and getting thrown against one of the toughest new faces on the block, yet she was able to imitate as though she was ready for this. As though she was prepared to stand up to the challenge in front of her. How wrong she would be in due time, or perhaps, in just a few seconds.

Immediately, Teuila's attempt at a lock-up was rejected and turned into an irish whip, resulting in her crashing against the corner. Yet she would have but a moment to react before that pointed elbow slammed against the back of her skull, forcing her to leave her feet and kneel down in pain.

And yet Kathleen was just getting started. Getting a handful of that all-too bushy hair, she began to yank back to force her head to collide with more elbow strikes--repeated bashes against her head while the Queen loomed over her like a predator. If she got her way, the referee would eventually come in to try and break up the two, given Teuila's close proximity to the corner and ropes, to which Kathleen would yank the young lioness out and shove her to the mat.

Kathleen said she wanted to make this quick, and it seemed that she was holding up her end of the bargain. But would Teuila?

Teuila knew she was probably in over her head when she was put up against an opponent like Kathleen. It wasn't really a surprise to her. Nor did she care too much since she knew still being a student she was likely to lose tonight. But in spite of that she wasn't looking to be a doormat to anyone, let alone this Kathleen!

Unfortunately however Teuila wasn't doing a very good job of following through on that. It wasn't just that Kathleen was physically superior, which she was. But Teuila could deal with that at least since she wasn't a weakling by any means. No the problem Teuila was currently facing was that her opponent didn't exactly fight... fair.

Now that was something that Teuila just didn't have the experience to do anything about. So after the woman's elbow collided with her head from behind in a brutal collision all Teuila could do was slide down onto her knees. Helpless as Kathleen grabbed her hair and began laying into her with even more elbow strikes into the side of the head, causing her body to shake and bounce with each impact from her opponent up until the ref finally stepped in.

Although this only led to Kathleen tossing Teuila out of the corner and onto the mat, groaning softly in pain. "Ngh.. ah..." Moaning softly Teuila got her hands under her and began to push herself back up, refusing to let herself be beaten so easily by her opponent here.

Kathleen would be lying if she said it didn't feel good to be able to let off some steam on some helpless rookie. The life of a Queen wasn't without stress, and maintaining perfection can be a difficult task. So to get some wide-eyed cute newbie who didn't seem aware of just who she was facing, and allowed herself to fall into the arms of the dominant heel, it was.. nice.

Elbow after elbow, before the referee finally looked to break the two up, and Kathleen took the opportunity to toss the body of Teuila's back towards the center of the ring, where the ropes could not save her. After that barrage, it could be forgiven if the rookie chose to just roll over and die, be a heap on the ground and accept her fate. Yet she began to push herself up, refusing to die and trying to get back into it. All it earned was a scowl from Kathleen, who moved in and sent her boot forward, attempting to hit a Soccerball Kick right onto the gut of Teuila's and send her back down to the mat.

"Stay down, and I may just grace you with mercy," the Queen said with a snarl, not having broken a sweat yet, and all the more ready to continue her assault onto the Young Lioness. It wouldn't make the project look good--to beat down onto one of their little starlets--but it'd be a humbling that one could not teach, a lesson that she'd never forget.

Teuila groaned in pain as she slowly but surely pushed herself up to at least her knees, knowing how vulnerable a position she was in... and completely expecting an attack. 'She'd be stupid to not try and hit me while I'm down, besides, I think she's getting off on causing me pain.' The brunette thought to herself through the haze of pain currently swelling through her body.

Sure enough her older opponent would throw her leg forward, attempting to drive her foot into Teuila's gut in a effort to knock her right back down to her back. Not that it mattered much to the Samoan girl because this time she was ready and had managed to catch Kathleen's foot just in time! "Not... this... time." Teuila said with a glare to the dark haired woman.

Continuing to hold onto her foe's leg Teuila would stand back up fully, holding onto Kathleen's foot and leg all the while as she did so. My turn!" Teuila would say as she dropped down to her side while twisting, attempting to land a dragon screw on Kathleen's leg to damage the woman's powerful lower limb!
