The Princess and the Tiger: Katsumi Oshiro VS. Bengal

Bengal's amber eyes widen with shock as Katsumi springs back to life and swiftly rolls her onto her shoulders. The referee begins to count: "One!" Bengal starts to tighten her clutch again, but immediately realizes the flaw in this strategy; she'll be pinned long before she's able to choke out Katsumi a second time. "Two!" The only option left is to break the hold. She does so, rolling nimbly backward, then springing into a handstand to get her shoulders off the mat, just in time. "No Fall! Two-count!"

Bengal flips back onto her feet, her mind racing. How?!? How did she do that? She was out, and then... She pushes her disbelieving thoughts away. Now isn't the time to focus on that. She's knocked Katsumi out once, and she can do it again. The Japanese fighter is likely teetering on the edge of unconsciousness already, after everything she's been through. All she needs is a little push.

Bengal's arms and shoulders are racked from the Yokaidzume, and her left leg is sore from applying her own submission. Fortunately, her right leg is still relatively unscathed. She decides to take advantage of that fact. She takes a step back, then explodes into motion, leaning back and thrusting out her leg like a piston, almost too fast for the eye to follow. She calls this move the Ambush Predator, although most wrestling fans would be more familiar with its original name: the Super Kick. While a kick like this lacks the deceptive potential of Katsumi's Heartbreaker, its sheer speed and power more than make up for that - and it's aimed straight for the chin of the Punk Princess!

Katsumi's cheeks rouge as the hold is tightened, feeling like she's going to pass out again. But if she can just hold on--!

In a sudden whoosh, the pin is broken and Katsumi is released from the hold. She hits the mat in a heap, gasping, color returning to her face. But now that she's earned her freedom, she can't just loiter on the mat and wait for the next form of assault! She tucks her hands and knees to the mat and pushes up to her feet!

The sudden rise in elevation hits a headrush. She wasn't quite ready for rapid movement yet, and Katsumi wobbles, unbalanced. But filled with determination, the punkette turns to mark the blurry image of her foe - just in time for her vision to blank out. The boot connects under her chin, causing her head and silky hair to whip back, issuing droplets of sweat across the ring. Her back arches, her arms pinwheel for a moment before dropping to her sides.

Katsumi remains standing, but she seems dead on her feet. Small adjustments here and there in her balance are instinctual, something inside her demanding she keep in the fight, even though her head is slumped and her shoulders sagged, as if a Mortal Kombat character waiting for a finish.

For the second time in as many minutes, Bengal can't believe her eyes. No one has ever remained standing after getting hit by her Ambush Predator. Just what exactly is this woman made of? Still, she knows one move that is bound to put Katsumi down for good. A dangerous technique that's been banned in most wrestling federations - but with the No Disqualification rules in effect, that won't be an issue here.

She spins her stunned opponent around and stoops over, tucking her head under the punkette's left arm. Her own left arm secures Katsumi's neck, while her right arm snakes between the Japanese woman's legs. Then she straightens up, hefting the punkette onto her shoulders. An awed hush falls over the crowd, as they realize what Bengal is attempting. She calls it Burning Bright - her own version of the infamous Burning Hammer! She pumps her legs and pushes up on Katsumi's thigh, lifting her into a more vertical position. Then she drops abruptly into a seated position, driving the head of the Punk Princess into the canvas with a sickening thud. For a moment, it seems like the entire ring will collapse from the force of the impact.

The sit-out has clearly affected Bengal as well, but she manages to crawl toward her stricken opponent. Too exhausted to hook the leg, she can only drape her body across Katsumi's chest for the pin. The referee drops down and begins to count: "One! Two!"

Katsumi's swaying body is easily spun around and loaded across Bengal's shoulders. Her lithe form stretches out, dangling at either end, exposed skin glistening with sweat under the intense overhead lighting. The anticipation in the audience is just as heated - this looks like an execution about to unfold.

Katsumi is tipped over and plummets down to the mat, landing on her head. The thunderous impact brings Katsumi rolling lifelessly to her knees, as if staring at Bengal sightlessly, before crumpling back to lie against the mat. Arms land spread to either side, legs splayed, eyes barely open, and lips parted, panting. Each hard breath is visible to onlookers from the rise and fall of her bare stomach, but she can't seem to will herself to move.

Bengal finds no resistance as she lies across the Punk Princess crossways, chest to chest. Her heart pounds against her exotic, dark-skinned opponent, saturated in the warmth of her huddled form.

The referee drops beside the pair, giving the first two counts. Her hand raises to slap the mat for the third and final time. It swings down...

"Unh!" The sound is weak, a defiant protest as Katsumi pushes her chest into Bengal's, torso tilted just enough to raise her shoulder off the mat.

"TH- NO! Two-count! No fall! Match continues!"

With her head pounding and her vision blurring from a mixture of pain and sweat, Katsumi can only lie there beneath Bengal for the moment, trying her best to pool her strength.

Bengal's only response to the referee's declaration is a feral, frustrated scream. She's tried everything in her arsenal, and Katsumi has still managed to thwart her at every turn. She's too exhausted to think of another tactic. Her only idea now is to stomp on the punkette until she stops moving. Blinded by rage, the possibility that this might force a match stoppage doesn't even occur to her. Even if it had, her hatred for her opponent is so strong that she might not be able to resist.

She gets shakily to her feet, sticking out one arm to steady herself as she rises. She lifts up one striped boot, aiming to bring her full weight down on Katsumi's throat. The referee blanches with horror, but it's too late for her to interfere. Bengal's foot is already driving down, like the blade of a guillotine, filled with violent intent...

Katsumi's starting to refocus, though everything hurts and feels sluggish. The world around her is moving at something of a disjointed pace, the wear and tear on her body catching up with her. A part of her wishes the weight would've remained on her chest, giving her more time to recuperate. But Bengal withdraws, leaving Katsumi to instantly feel the comparatively cool open air of the arena, as opposed to the sweaty warmth of Bengal's torso.

Her eyes slowly focus on the athletic Indian woman standing over her. The foot raises... and Katsumi is willing her arms to move. The foot plummets... and caught! Katsumi intercepts with her forearms, quickly seizing onto the offending boot.

"YAAAHH!" That pooled strength rushes to the surface in a burst of passionate energy! Katsumi's hips twist on the mat, launching a kick from her low position aimed to slam into Bengal's waist, hoping to stun her! And then a twist with the captive foot in an effort to yank her down to the mat face-first and get the upperhand!

Bengal feels the momentum of her stomp cut short as Katsumi raises her forearms to block the attack. A second later, and a kick smashes into her waist, aggravating her earlier injuries from the Yokaidzume. At the same time, the punkette twists her foot painfully, throwing her off balance. The combined assault is too much for the poor Tiger. She pinwheels her arms, trying to regain her footing, but she's too far gone for that. She crashes to the mat face-first, forcing the referee to scramble out of the way to avoid being squashed underneath her. Groaning, she raises herself up onto her forearms and knees, trying to wrest her trapped foot free from Katsumi's grasp.

With a determined glare in her eyes, Katsumi turns over onto all fours. Her frame rises and falls dramatically with each panted breath, her eyes locked onto the Tiger lying on her front before her. Reaching out with fingers splayed, she attempts to grab ahold of Bengal's deep black damp hair to yank back, attempting to rear her onto her knees.

Bringing her ear to her lips, she seethes, "We.. ain't.. done yet.."

With fingers entangling in her hair, she begins lifting to her feet, dragging Bengal along with her. And once both are upright, she fires a stiff forearm shot to slam loudly against her lower back, the other hand releasing her hair finally. But that's only the first of a barrage of body shots Katsumi intends to deliver, raining low hooking punches either into Bengal's bare back or belly, if she turns to face her.

Before Bengal can think of a reply, Katsumi's forearm bounces off her back, sending a jolt of pain leapfrogging up her vertebrae. Her head goes light, and for a moment, she worries that she's about to pass out. Every muscle in her body is screaming for her to lie down, to give up. But she grits her teeth and hangs on. Her feet feel like blocks of lead, and her damp hair is plastered across her face, covering one of her eyes - but she manages to turn and face her opponent once more, white teeth bared defiantly. "You...don't...scare me..." she snarls, even if she's no longer sure that's true.

And there it is, that convenient turn-around the shot to her back was meant to bring about. The snarl Katsumi is met with, she returns. The two stand face to face, glowering, wild-eyed, bodies battered and beaten, sweat and hair clinging to their skin. But with Bengal turned around to face her, she lead directly into Katsumi's intended barrage of bodyblows. A low right hook into the abdomen, followed by a low left hook, then another shot from the right, each hit in the combo meant to rock Bengal's body and leave her stunned. The majority of the punishment tonight has been focused on the Indian woman's stomach, breaking down her core - and now, she's expecting it to be paying off.

Arms lash forward suddenly, wrapping around Bengal's waist to pull her into herself. Their perfectly evenly-matched statures now more prominently on display not only for the audience, but to the girls, themselves. Katsumi doesn't even slightly shy back from the body contact with her rival, black-clad hips pressing tight to the tiger-printed trunks. Her toned stomach meets Bengal's bare abdominals unabashedly, her breasts pushed firmly into Bengal's. The arms cinch into the feminine dip of Bengal's waist to keep their bodies locked together.

Her body tingles with a myriad of awareness, with everything from the violent disdain the two seem to share for each others to the slippery, sweat-slickened skin contact. Flushed and warm, nearly overheated from the strenuous match, Katsumi still demands to keep Bengal's body tight to hers in the intimate hold. Her eyes rest focused on Bengal's, each labored exhale escaping her parted lips beating against Bengal's own.

Pressure begins building as Katsumi pulls inwards against Bengal's waist, compressing her back, squeezing her ribs, and mashing belly-to-belly. Katsumi has never bearhugged a girl her height before, much less one who'd put up this fierce of a fight. The sensation of grinding her body into hers is almost intoxicatingly exhilarating, feeling every detail of Bengal's figure - every curvature of her breasts, hips melding to hips, and each tone and definition in her stomach pressed and sliding subtly against her own.
