Monaka vs. Mika Matsuda - Brawlin' Cuties

Monaka managed to get Mika off of her, but she was still affected by what her opponent did to her earlier. After getting Mika off of her, Monaka would try to roll herself over onto her side, gasping and panting. She could hear what her opponent was saying, and in response, she would try to push herself back up while grunting.

"Nghhh... d-don't ever think... i-it's gonna be that easy... urgh..." Wincing as she tried to push herself up, she would then try to roll herself away from Mika, hoping to recover some of her strength so that she could fight her opponent back.

Mika heard Monaka's words while she rolled away from her. She wasn't sure if they were meant to be words of wisdom to her, but she took them as such.

"I'll.. keep that in mind." She says before trying to crawl over towards her, and tries to help her up to her feet again while she starts to get up as well.

Already rolling herself away from Mika, Monaka would try to take this chance to get herself back up. Grunting as she almost buckled under her weight, she would then stand on her two feet as she would then look at the direction of her opponent.

"Haa... haa... c'mon, let's finish this up..." Monaka said as she would look at her opponent, taking a stance as she would try to come up with a plan. This time, she would wait for Mika to make her move so that she could try countering her.

Mika was feeling the effects of this fight too. Monaka had landed in some heavy moves, and she could feel her body running out of gas.

"Ngh... you've got it... Monaka-chan..." She responds, and brings her gloves up to her head, almost hiding behind her gloves a bit. She starts to sway her upper body left, and then right as she starts to step in towards her. Her eyes stay focused on Monaka as she shuffles within striking distance, and tries to start off by throwing a sudden left cross to her cheek during her swaying! Mika would have more punishment in store if that first blow hit Monaka.

Monaka slowly closed in as she carefully watched Mika's movement, but due to everything that she had taken earlier, she felt rather sluggish, and it was hard for her to focus. So, when Mika sent a punch aimed at her face, she was unable to block it in time, and as a result, she took the blow head on. "Aughhh!!!" She staggered back, but she would quickly plant her feet on the mat, preventing herself from losing her footing.

Not wanting to give her opponent any chance to land more blows, Monaka would bring her arms up in order to block whatever attacks that Mika would try to throw at her next. At this point, she was seeing double, making it hard for her to focus. She controlled her breathing, hoping to find an opening that she could capitalize on despite her having trouble keeping herself focused.

Mika was starting a classic, and perhaps maybe a bit showy, boxing move, weaving her body left and right to make herself harder to hit. When the first blow hit, she'd see Monaka trying to block, but she would keep swaying, and tries for a right cross punch, then a left, then another right, in an attempt to assault Monaka with a classic Dempsey roll!

"You're done, Monaka-chan!" She says as she gets momentum building in her body with each swing.

Monaka was having trouble focusing on her opponent at this point, and Mika then decided to make use of her boxing skill to attack her. Monaka might not be knowledgeable enough in boxing, but she had seen enough episodes of Hajime no Ippo to recognize this technique. While there might not be any exaggerated visual effects like in that anime, she could see this technique being a very effective one in keeping the opponent under pressure.

"Nghhhh!! Mghhh!!" Monaka tried her best to block those swings, but the intensity of Mika's Dempsey roll was just too much for her to handle that many of her attacks managed to hit her, leaving her staggered and unable to keep herself focused. At this point, Mika would be able to take Monaka down after landing so many hits on her.

Mika kept it up until she saw Monaka staggering back. She decided she was stunned enough, and backed away from her before running towards the ropes, and bounces off them, trying for something she wasn't even sure would work, but as she came back, she goes in low, and tries to ram her shoulder Monaka's belly and blast her off her feet, and would end up back on top of her if it connected!

Thanks to Mika's attacks, Monaka was in no shape to defend herself anymore, and the boxer took this opportunity to launch her next attack by launching herself towards the ropes before coming back to her, driving her shoulder into her belly.

"GUARKHH!!!"

Wind was knocked out of her lungs as she took the attack. She was taken down onto the mat before Mika went to sit on top of her. At this point, it was clear now that Monaka had nothing left in store for this fight, leaving her completely under Mika's mercy.

Mika connects with the spear, much to the pleasure of the crowd. She ends up on top of her after taking her to the ground. She's running pretty low on steam by this point. She tries to crawl on top of her, and just sort of lays on her in an attempt to pin her down.
