Marzia Servelli vs. Chigusa Yuuki

So far, things weren't going too well for Marzia. Her head was throbbing thanks to the blow she had taken from Chigusa's knee, and she was defenseless as the purple-haired woman laid down on top of her, her breaths ragged as she panted and gasped. Feeling the residual sting from the blow, Marzia quivered, her body trembling. This wasn't a good position to be in, she knew - and especially as the ref began counting.

"TWO!"

Marzia knew that she had only so much time before her opponent would secure her for the count of three. If she still wanted a chance at winning this, the Italian girl would have to act quickly! She balled her fists at her side, sucking in air as she dug her nails into her palms. "Nngh-!" she groaned softly, trying to fight off the pain. Even if she got out of this, she had taken quite a beating, and she wasn't sure how much fight she would have left in her. But if nothing else...she could try. She would fight on to the bitter end, if only for herself. She owed it to herself not to just roll over and hand Chigusa the win! Even if she lost the match, she didn't want to look like some pushover!

"THR-NO!"

Putting all her will into it, Marzia managed to kick out just in time!

Chigusa could tell that she could stand a chance to win this as she pinned Marzia down. As she pinned Marzia, she didn't see any sign of kicking out from the Italian wrestler, and she smiled a little, thinking that she was about to win this match. Marzia had proven herself to be quite an adversary, but it was time to put this match into an end.

But then, before the referee could finish her count, Marzia suddenly kicked out, much to Chigusa's surprise. The near fall left her astonished, and she got herself off of Marzia, staring at her in disbelief. "N-no way..." she muttered, shaking her head. Then, she would recollect herself as she would focus on finishing what she started.

She would get herself back on her feet and plan to pick Marzia up. She would make sure that her next move would take Marzia out for good so that she could finally win this match.

Marzia looked up at Chigusa from the mat, panting softly. Her head was spinning, and though she had kicked out of the pin, it had taken the better amount of her strength. She had gotten herself out, of course, but it would likely only be good to delay the inevitable, at least if Chigusa wouldn't give her enough time to get herself into a better spot. Marzia was trying as best she could, but after seeing what Chigusa was capable of, the girl could only imagine how long her adversary could last. At the very least, Marzia had proven that she wasn't going down so easily - that was all she needed.

Nevertheless, her suspicions proved correct, as Chigusa hoisted her up off her feet. Feeling her body ascend, the solid ground giving out from under her, Marzia sucked in a breath, her whole body growing tense with anticipation. She could only imagine what Chigusa would do next, but she knew all too well she'd never be able to escape from it. She could just hope it wouldn't hurt too bad.

Bringing Marzia up onto her feet, Chigusa planned to use a big move on her as she would wrap her arms around her midsection from behind, as if looking to throw her over with a German suplex. Then, she would lift her up, heaving her up into the air, but rather than throwing her behind, she would just lift her up before she attempted to bring her forward, transitioning the German suplex into a belly-to-back wheelbarrow facebuster, bringing Marzia face first into the mat.

It was one of Chigusa's custom move that she named Chigusa Suplex Special, and if it was successful, it would certainly deal quite a tremendous damage on the Italian wrestler.

Marzia took in a breath as she felt Chigusa lock her arms around her. German Suplex, all right - that was a move she was familiar with well enough, and she could brace herself for it. It'd leave her with a headache, of course, but it wasn't something foreign to her, and she could at least prepare herself for the onslaught that was to come in this short moment. As bad as it might've been, she could prepare for it.

Little did Marzia know, this wasn't a simple German Suplex - she wouldn't be getting off that easily. She lagged in the air when Chigusa hoisted her up, and at first she was left questioning it. A lump hung in her throat, as she soon began to realize she had no idea what would come next; and indeed, that anything could happen to her. Sure enough, this was a move that was unknown to her, as Chigusa threw her face down hard into the mat! The pain from being shoved down so rapidly proved to be more than Marzia had bargained for, as the thud of her making contact with the canvas was punctuated by a sharp scream. Then the dizziness set in, as the brunette was left reeling and woozy, proceeding to crumple onto her face with the fight leaving her.

Bringing Marzia face first into the mat with the Chigusa Suplex Special, Chigusa would take a look at her opponent, certainly seeing that her attack had dealt quite a tremendous damage on her. Thinking that this might be her opportunity to seize a win, she would get herself on her knees so that she could roll Marzia over onto her back.

"It's my win now..." Chigusa said as she would drape herself over Marzia, going for the cover as she would reach out for one of her legs, hooking her arm under the crook of her knee. Seeing that she was going for a pinfall attempt, the referee would come over next to them and start counting for the pin. Hopefully, Marzia would not kick out from this, finally giving Chigusa a win that she coveted since the beginning of this match.

"ONE!"

Marzia had given this fight her all, using every ounce of strength she had in her to bear it out. If there was any one thing she didn't want to be, it was weak - and she didn't want the crowd thinking that, and especially not her opponent. But even then, there was only so long she could try to elude Chigusa. The purple-haired woman's finisher packed a serious punch, and it was one Marzia wasn't going to get up from easily. She was still in a daze, and her head felt like it was spinning while Chigusa pinned her down - kicking out wouldn't even be on her radar. She barely had any indication of what her opponent was doing.

From what she could see, Marzia didn't show any sign of kicking out soon even as the referee continued counting for the pin. Keeping herself on top of her for the cover, Chigusa would not move away, still holding the Italian girl by her leg. She knew that the match would still be going if Marzia managed to kick out of this, and if she had to be honest, she didn't know if she could go for more, feeling exhausted from this match.

But Marzia didn't kick out, and the referee proceeded to the third and final count, cementing Chigusa's victory over her.

"THREE!"

And that's the end of the match. Sighing, Chigusa let go of Marzia's leg before she got herself on her butt, feeling relief washing over her being as the bell was rung, which signified the end of the match. The referee came over next to her, and Chigusa would stand back up, letting her arm be raised by the referee, declaring her the victor of this match.

Marzia, too, was starting to show the wear and tear that the match had put on her, dragging on for so long and demanding that she fight to the very limits of her prowess. She had done her best to stick it out and to prove herself; even in the face of the overwhelming adversity of Chigusa's power and ability, Marzia didn't want to just lay down and take it. She had to prove herself. In the end, though, even Marzia couldn't last forever.

As the bell rang, and the announcers declared an end to the match, the Italian girl slowly returned to her senses, the loud noise that lit up the arena jogging her out of the daze she was in. She sat up, panting as she rubbed her head. Surveying the scene, Marzia would see that the crowd was going wild, and that the ref was proclaiming Chigusa the victor - and it dawned on her that that had to mean she had lost. At the same time, though, Marzia didn't feel particularly disappointed. There were bigger things on her mind now, like how she ached all over. At this point, all she could think about was how she was grateful that the match was finally over.

Relieved after winning her match here in LAW, Chigusa would celebrate her victory a little, walking around the ring, raising both arms as she basked in the cheers of the crowd. Then, she would show her appreciation to their supports by bowing to all directions. Feeling good after winning this match, Chigusa looked forward to return to backstage for a well-earned shower and rest.

But first, she would like to speak to Marzia first. She walked over to her defeated opponent and offered her a hand, smiling at the same time. "Hey, are you okay? Here, let me help you..." she said to Marzia, offering to help her up.
