Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
If Valerie had to think up one word to describe this match, it would likely be ‘insane’, or some variation of it. Not in a bad way, mind you, but this was far and away from what she’d expected when she took up Alizeh’s challenge. She didn’t think it would be a cakewalk, but she couldn't have imagined it would be this wild, this dynamic, this trying. She was being tested in ways she had not thought possible, especially from someone on the other end of the middleweight division. She was hurt, she was sweaty, and it was hard to finish a single area of her body that wasn’t either aching from the stress or the punishment.
And she loved it. This was why she’d come to LAW in the first place. Ryu, Kyo, El Rey, and now this? Her cup ran over.
That being said, the match was starting to take its toll, and even her usually reliable reserves were beginning to run low. As much as she hated running, her mothers had stressed the importance of knowing your limits and using the outside of the ring to your advantage. Just five seconds to collect herself, catch her breath, and she would be good to go.
…why was the audience cheering?
Valerie perked up at the telltale sound of the crowd’s rising din, as if they were expecting something to happen - something big. She instinctively spun about, searching for her opponent, and found her a moment too late, as she soared through the air as a human projectile. She brought her arms up in defense, but that only saved her face from getting hammered. She still wound up getting knocked off her feet, she was still sent to the floor, and she was still left to lay there, groaning and hissing.

Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
This is exactly what Alizeh had wanted for this match, to push herself to her limits, to push whoever had answered it to their limits, and to give the crowd and everyone in the back and example of just what the hell she can do. Thankfully Valley Doll had been the one to answer. Someone so much like Alizeh herself, but who had just started in LAW for the most part and Alizeh was more than happy to give her the chance to shine.
Unfortunately however the most important part of this challenge was for Alizeh to win. Simple as that. Luckily with Valerie being such a big target on the outside of the ring it presented her with the perfect opportunity. Breaking into a run at the ropes and bouncing off them to launch herself through towards her opponent Alizeh would fearlessly move to crash head first into Valerie, taking the blonde right back down to the floor!
"Woooo!" Alizeh cried out after pushing herself up to a standing position in the wake of the flashy move. Looking down at Valley Doll from above her Alizeh would bend down and grab her opponent lifting her up before pushing her back inside the ring and climbing up onto the apron before ascending up the corner from the outside, looking down at her opponent from above as she took a breath before leaping through the air, turning as she did so to try and come crashing down on the blond with her finishing high flying move the thunderbird splash!

Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
Valerie was down. But out? Not quite yet.
Her parents had taught her many things, but one of the most important lessons was how to endure, how to find the stamina to push through anything. Wrestling wasn’t just about fighting; it was about taking more than your opponent, about persevering regardless of the damage done. No matter what, she needed to keep a clear head. She needed to push through.
She did her best to focus as she was hauled up and thrown back into the ring, even if she was having trouble focusing with all the pain. She could still hear just fine, could still feel the way the ring shook and quaked, and that told her all she needed know: something big was coming.
Sure enough, Alizeh came soaring her way a moment later, coming down with a crazy maneuver. She didn’t have the energy to roll out of the way, too slow for that, but she could do the next best thing and raise her legs up, giving her a pair of sharp knees to land onto.
Of course, it wasn’t going to be that pleasant for her, either, and she braced for the impact.

Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
Here they were, end game. Taking a risky gambit to fly though the ropes and crash into Valerie's body from the ring Alizeh would crash into the blonde, taking her down from above!
Now with how beaten down she seemed to be Alizeh would look to seal the deal and finish her fellow third generation wrestler off once and for all with her high flying finisher, the thunder bird splash!
Diving from the top rope and sailing through the air Alizeh had expected an impact, one that she hoped would leave her opponent winded and unable to continue, but she wouldn't be so lucky as the blonde's knees would be what she crashed into instead!
"GAHHHH!!!" Alizeh cried out in pain, practically bouncing off the girl's knees and rolling on the mat, clutching her spine in pain while kicking her legs against the mat, in a world of pain from the crash and burn and thoroughly stunned!

Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
The experience wasn’t exactly a ton of fun for Valerie, either - Alizeh wasn’t super-heavy, but she came down on her legs with a load of moment, jostled her knees, left her sore and aching. But it was a far cry from what would’ve happened if she’d taken the blow full on, so she was happy with the small victory.
For that little bit of pain, she was gifted with one of her biggest openings of the match, as Alizeh rolled away, reeling for the rough landing, wide open. The crowd surged behind her, seeing exactly what she saw, smelling the opportunity for an upset and one of the biggest moments of her burgeoning career, and she had just the move to take advantage of it.
Scooting forward, she grabbed Alizeh’s arm and pulled it through her open legs, holding it tightly. She brought one of her thick legs underneath her opponent’s shoulder, connected it with her other leg behind the head in a figure-four position, and tried to pull the Emerald Storm into a figure-four variation of the triangle choke. Or, as she liked to call it, the Neo Valley Lock.

Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
High risk, high reward, that was always the motto of what Alizeh did when she went for the thunder bird splash, most of the time the reward was earned for the risk, but it seemed in this instance that wouldn't be the case. Crashing down hard against Valerie's legs and bounced off as a result Alizeh was stunned and in pain, unable to do anything as Valerie moved in quick like a cobra lunging at Alizeh and ensnaring those thick legs around her while pulling her arm taught for a rather brutal armbar variation! "Aghhhhh!" Screaming out in pain while kicking her legs against the mat Alizeh would use her free hand to punch and slap at the blonde's leg, trying to weaken her grip, doing whatever she could to slacken it, for the time being trapped in the hold!

Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
Valerie’s legs were one of, if not the, best assets she had, and this move made that abundantly clear, as she not only powered down on Alizeh’s skull but stretched her arm out, bringing it closer and closer to the breaking point. This move could do real damage, she knew that firsthand - she’d accidentally knocked Garfield out with it once, during a training session.
Alizeh, to her credit, wasn’t going out easily, putting up a hell of a fight. Valerie winced as the woman struck at her leg, her fists smacked against her hardened thighs, but she wasn’t about to give this up so easily, especially not after coming so close to losing only a moment ago. This was the best chance she could’ve asked for.
”Tap! Out!” She emphasized her words by unlocking the hold for a second, driving her heel into Alizeh’s back to knock some more fight out of her, then trying to relock it quick, ramping up the terrible pressure of a weakened foe.

Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
Alizeh was in a bad, bad way right now. It didn't more than a few seconds for her to realize that this must be one of Valerie's signature submissions, or at least one she practiced often given how much expertise and practiced skill with which she was pulling and wrenching it. Naturally it meant it was painful as hell but she wasn't about to back down whatsoever. Sucking a breath in she knew that all she needed to do was hold out a little longer, until the perfect opportunity came up to counter out of it.
Lo and behold it came. Valerie made a critical mistake, opening her legs and effectively undoing the majority of the hold to slam a kick into Alizeh's back and while it hurt.. Alizeh would use it as her chance! Pushing herself up and rolling forward Alizeh would try and escape from Valerie's clutches before she could close her legs back around! In fact if she was successful in the roll through it would leave Alizeh with a grip on Valerie's arm still as she tried to get up, wrapping her leg around Valerie's arm in record time.
Should this have been successful Alizeh would move to step back, rolling Valerie over in the process before dropping down to pin the blonde's arm under her leg before reaching forward and grabbing Valerie's leg, lifting it up before repeatedly slamming it back down into the mat to do some damage before pulling back for the submission half of one of her finishers the Emerald Twilight, otherwise known as the Tequila Sunrise!

Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
One of Valerie’s most constant problems was her overconfidence—thinking she had a situation when, really, she couldn't have been farther off the mark. She was aware of this failing, something she’d likely picked up from her biological father, and it had a tendency to rear its ugly head at the worst times, this one being a prime example.
She had Alizeh right where she wanted her, trapped between her legs, unable to escape, entirely under her control. As solid as the hold was, though, she tried to knock some of the fight out of her foe and make it implacable, and this was where the perfect turned into the enemy of the good.
Alizeh showed her expertise, turning the briefest window into a shocking reversal. Valerie found herself flipped over, trapped, her arm pinned to the floor with an impressive hold that even she hadn't seen. That was far from the worst of it, however - Alizeh’s next move was to hammer her leg into the mat drill it with brutal blows, each one landing hard than the last.
Screw it. The ropes. She needed the ropes.
Valley pushed hard with her free leg and arm, driving towards the edge of the ring, desperate to reach out and grab hold of the bottom rope before severe damage was done. Maybe she could’ve figured a way out of this attack - maybe - if she had enough time, but she didn’t like the prospect of getting worn down by such an inventive, agonizing hold.

Re: Storm in the Valley: Alizeh Midori vs Valley Doll III
Alizeh was not one to give up easily, even when things hurt, even when in the middle of the ring, it took a lot to make her tap to the point it was either to get her unconscious instead. Both were distinct possibilities with Valerie's Neo Valley Lock, it was tight and expertly locked in and it could have very well ended things if Valerie hadn't made the mistake of loosening the hold. Even if it was intended to weaken her more it allowed the greenette the chance to roll through and reverse things on the blonde, locking her in a submission hold of her own!
Smirking slightly as she pulled back on the blonde's limb Alizeh would continue to torque and pull back, aiming to do as much damage as possible in a short period of time. Truthfully Alizeh doubted this make shift version of her submission finisher would cinch her the victory but it would definitely deal a good amount of damage, especially to Valerie's leg which would definitely lessen her offense and overall mobility. Exactly what Alizeh needed in order to finally try and put the blonde down for good and win this match!
Sure enough as Alizeh thought they soon were at the ropes, with Valerie reaching out to grab hold of them and secure a break to the hold. Sighing softly as she heard this Alizeh would nod and release her hold on the blonde's leg, standing up.. but with a cheek grin she would slap Valerie's but before getting off fully and backing a bit away, allowing her opponent the chance to get back up to a standing position so they could finish this bout off the right way.
