The Idol Dragons [D] vs. the Thundergirls

Nashi let out a sigh of relief as she was given the opportunity to roll away and some time to prepare. She watched as Alaina hobble over and knew what to do. When Alaina went for the knee, Nashi woukd raise her leg for a kick to the face! She would end up getting hit with the knee kick but hopefully being able to retaliate”YUKINO TAKE OVER!” She shouted putting her out for a tag so Yukino can start off with an attack at Alaina!

When she managed to tag Nashi in, Yukino let out a sigh of relief to know that she was finally freed from Tina's hold. She crawled her way over to the ropes, where she used them to pull herself to her feet, and watched the match unfold. When Nashi had Tina in place for her signature hold, and when she had her lined up for the frog splash, Yukino was jumping up and down, cheering her friend on every step of the way as it looked like she could win the match there and then. When Tina managed to reverse it, she winced in sympathy, biting her lip anxiously at the thought of Nashi being subjected to every hit and fall she took. Finally, when Alaina joined in, and seemed to have her ready for a pin, Yukino gripped the ropes tightly, sweat beading on her bow as her nerves took hold. She knew that with Tina on guard there was nothing she could do to save her friend, and inside her head, she was praying that if there was anything out there it would let Nashi go free. But then, Nashi got out of the way, and a smile lit up across the white-haired girl's face - and when she saw her crawl closer to tag in, Yukino shoved her hand through the ropes to meet her for it!

Nashi had had her turn - and seeing how well she had fared against the Thundergirls had emboldened Yukino. If Nashi could do so well, she might well have a chance, too! That hope was enough to re-energize her, and just like that, all the aches and pains seemed to fade away. Now, she was ready! "Over here!!" she cried, waving her hand to Nashi.

When she finally felt the slap of Nashi's hand against her own, Yukino smiled wide. "Thanks, Nashi," she said, flashing her partner a thumbs-up. "And don't worry, I've got this!" Sure enough, she already had a plan! She grabbed for the ropes, going to lift herself up to the top rope - and there, she would launch herself toward Alaina, throwing herself across the ring attempting to ram her knee into the heavyweight's face! Just her bravado alone was enough to make a fair few fans in the crowd gasp, but Yukino was confident. With such a showy entrance, Yukino hoped she would be able to open her entrance on a high note, and take her larger opponent down in the process!

Tina climbed back through the ropes once Alaina missed, knowing that she wouldn't have a pin to protect.

Alaina was staggering up when Yukino ran in and hit her head with a running knee sending her falling down to the mat on her back! Alaina groaned and kicked in pain, slowly trying to sit up and make her way back to her feet.

Now that Alaina was floored by the impact of Yukino's knee, the white-haired girl touched down on the mat, catching herself in a three-point stance with her knee and both hands braced against the canvas. Gasping a few times to fill her lungs, she took a moment to catch her breath, but soon enough, she was ready to jump back into the action, and she held her back straight and balled her fists as a confident smile crossed her face. Alaina was down, and that proved to her that she was capable of winning this match if she applied herself, making her all the more determined to go for it - but more importantly, it also gave her an opportunity to act!

She saw the Amazon was trying to get back up - but then, she would reach in and grab at her leg to try to pull it back! "Oh no, you don't!" she said, transitioning to an ankle lock as she twisted at the joint! This way, Yukino hoped to both slow down Alaina's recovery, while dealing some damage in the process!

Alaina was surprised by the offense of Yukino but she wasn't down enough to simply let the smaller grappler drag her around and lock in an ankle lock. As she was dragged back Alaina thrust out at Yukino with her free leg looking to kick the arms of Yukino to free herself from the grip of the younger wrestler.

Yukino's fingers clenched down tighter around Alaina's ankle as she began to bend the joint to and fro, trying to work at it from all directions. Her teeth clenched in focus, and her grip pulled tight. Now she finally had Alaina under control, and she wanted to do all she could to keep it that way, rising to her feet and pulling back harder at the Amazon's leg to apply more leverage to her position. She'd come too far, and made too much progress against her foe, to let this slip away - especially when this seemed to be such a mismatch in terms of size and expertise, and Yukino was defying the odds! She needed to keep the hold in, wringing all the damage out of it she could get!

But then, Alaina swung outward with her leg, catching the white-haired girl in the stomach! At such a blow from a larger woman, Yukino found all the air knocked out of her lungs. She let out a gasp, doubling over forward as her jaw dropped with a pained wheeze and her hands shot down to cover her stomach. With a few staggering steps, Yukino went stumbling back, until her footing finally gave out and she dropped flat on her back with her arms out at her sides.

Alaina managed to free herself and she rose to her feet knowing that Yukino was going to be quick to get back to her feet too. She had to reclaim the momentum for her team. Alaina tried to get over to Yukino as quickly as she could looking to grab her and spin her around, attempting to grab hold and lift Yukino before planting her to the mat with a German suplex!

Yukino was going to need some time to catch her breath after being thrown to the ground as violently as she was. The impact had all but driven the air out of her lungs, leaving her gazing up at the ceiling through glazed-over eyes. Laid out flat, all she could do was pant and groan. Slowly but surely, as she caught more and more of her breath, Yukino's gasps slowed, and her movements became steadier and more composed. She began to find the will in her to get her hands underneath her, first securing an uneasy stance, and then rising up on her palms before she began to crawl away backward - but by that point, it was too late. She couldn't get away from her opponent in time - and the Amazon was gaining on her by the moment!

Before Yukino could get far, Alaina suddenly snatched her off the ground and whipped her through the air, spinning her around in place! Yukino's jaw dropped in a gasp as she found herself being swung around too quickly for her to keep track of. Soon, Alaina tossed Yukino back over her shoulders - and with a shocked scream, the Winter Idol took another German suplex, her head striking the mat. As she shuddered against the force of the blow, her legs flopped over her body and she began to go limp, sinking into the canvas with her eyes glazed over and staring into space.

Alaina felt like she had Yukino and she had an idea. She nodded to Tina to be ready as she rolled Yukino onto her back. Even though Alaina was the oldest and heaviest wrestler in the ring by quite a margin she was going to show that she could do quite a bit on offense. Alaina ran to the corner and climbed, perching on top and facing the crowd before leaping off the top and trying to come crashing down on top of Yukino with a top rope moonsault! If this connected Alaina would stay on top of her for the pin while Tina would move in and prevent Nashi from breaking things up!

When Alaina rolled Yukino to her back, the white-haired girl showed little resistance; her arms flopped lifelessly at her sides as she stared off into space. By all means, she was already out of the action - but that wasn't going to stop Alaina, who was already getting ready to bring the hurt, as she threw herself down on top of Yukino! The ring rumbled beneath the collision, and Yukino screamed as the impact practically flattened her, squeezing all the air out of her lungs and causing her to sink against the canvas. She could barely move under the weight of Alaina's body, let alone escape, and the referee got down to start counting.

"One!!"

Yukino could only look on, her face contorted into a scowl of pain. Her teeth clenched, and her body twitched with the impulses that came as she tried to stir herself to action, but found nothing to push her the rest of the way. The clock was ticking, and with Alaina on top of her, she knew she would need to get out soon - but the much greater weight of the Amazon's body was keeping her pinned down, even if she hadn't been holding her shoulders. But she didn't want to lose here. Not in the Idol Dragons' first tag outing. She was staring defeat right in the face...and she couldn't let it win!

"Two!! Thr-NO!"

Just then, finding the strength she needed, Yukino kicked her leg out of the pin, causing everyone in the crowd to gasp. It seemed impossible, but Yukino had managed to free herself, with her own raw determination driving her to lengths she was sure were unthinkable! And yet, even as she tried to crawl back a few steps, she promptly fell flat on her back again, gasping for air, as her weight gave out beneath her. She didn't know how much further she could go - she could only glance back at Nashi, hoping she could make it to her corner in time for a tag.
