The agonizing sensation from her knee was insistent, but Wyvern quickly acclimatizes to the throbbing pain that spikes up every time she puts weight on it. Pain by itself simply wasn't enough to stop her from acting. Concern about the risks of structural damage to her leg is the only thing keeping her from pushing forward and fighting without changing her methods at all. After the two blows she'd received, however, she had already had issues standing up with it. Further abuse could cause permanent damage. Worse, it would lead to the match being ended early. That was something she couldn't risk under any circumstances. She would see this to the end.

Alizeh's second charge doesn't prompt the same reaction from Wyvern. Knowing that the Emerald Storm is too skilled to try the same approach twice, particularly when it had partially backfired, the Irishwoman holds back and waits to see exactly what Alizeh has in mind. Her patient is rewarded when the older wrestler bypasses her entirely, throwing herself into the ropes in an attempt to pick up speed for a rebound strike. If Wyvern had made any attempt to counterattack, there's no doubt Alizeh's plan would have worked flawlessly.

If.

The idea is solid on paper. With Wyvern forced to favor one leg, she shouldn't be able to reposition quickly enough to defend herself. It would take time to turn and get into a solid stance while dealing with her injuries, leaving her with, at best, only a weak stance to try to block the hip strike. Dodging while remaining on her feet would have been difficult as well. But as Alizeh has experienced first-hand in this match, Wyvern can generate a hell of a lot of rotational force when she needs to, and she only needs one sturdy leg to do so. Snapping around with the force of a tornado, Wyvern extends one arm out into an absolutely murderous lariat, trying to catch the older wrestler before she can make contact with her own hit.

Despite the amount of damage sustained by both girls over the course of this match the areas affected for both Alizeh and Wyvern were very different. Where as Alizeh was hurt more so in her head and torso area the green haired girl had focused most of her offense on Wyvern's limbs, especially her leg. Precisely for moments such as this, where Alizeh could use her greater speed to circumvent Wyvern's raw power and striking prowess... Or so she thought at least.

Rebounding off the ropes and launching herself back at her opponent Alizeh had turned, fully expecting to catch the back of her opponent with her own in a running hip attack. What Alizeh hadn't counted on however was the absolute clubbing that impacted with the back of her head and neck, driving Alizeh right out of the air and face down into the mat with thunderous impact! "Gahhhh!" Groaning immediately in pain and writhing on the mat Alizeh immediately clutched her neck and head from the impact, wincing in pain and trying to configure herself in the wake of such a massive impact.

When given the choice between attacking and defending, Wyvern would always pick the former. It wasn't that she couldn't defend herself (quite the opposite, in fact), but in her experience she could fight through injuries far better than most. If she and her opponent kept taking equal hits, she'd eventually come out on top by virtue of sheer endurance and determination. She could count the number of people she'd fought who even came close to matching her in durability on one hand, and while she was in the ring with one of them, based on this last exchange it seemed that she was handling her reduced mobility just fine in comparison to Alizeh's injuries.

Having slammed her opponent to the ground with her strike, Wyvern is in an unusual position. Usually, she would use this position to start laying into her opponent with kicks, but in her current state she's unwilling to risk the instability that would cause. She would either be in danger of either collapsing or injuring herself further depending on which leg she used, and neither was a vulnerability she could afford. Instead, the Irish wrestler drops down on top of Alizeh, using her good leg to control the fall, before trying to snake her arms around the Texan wrestler's neck to secure a choke hold. While submissions like this aren't her specialty, it's not like she has no knowledge of them, and even such a basic hold can still prove deadly if properly executed.

Knowing full well how tough Wyvern was Alizeh knew that she was taking a risk turning her back on the woman for even a moment. Even as she did so however Alizeh felt confident in the moment with how damaged Wyvern's leg was and the speed she was moving. This wasn't to be however since even despite what had been done to Wyvern's knee, the woman was able to explosively burst, smashing the green haired girl in the back with a clothesline, taking her down to the mat face first, totally unable to do anything for the moment with how stunned and dazed she was following that impact.

'Ugh... dammit.' Alizeh though to herself, trying to push herself up, only to feel the weight of her opponent drop down on her before an arm wrapped around her neck. 'Shit!' Alizeh thought to herself, knowing how bad this was and instinctively pushing her chin down right into the crook of the arm of Wyvern! It was the best and only real defense against the choke hold, adding some pain to Wyvern's own hold and preventing the choke from taking full effect. This was only a temporary solution however, nothing permanent, luckily Alizeh was thinking of the perfect solution.

Gritting her teeth Alizeh would push up against the mat before pushing to the side, trying to roll them over. If successful Alizeh would use her arms to grab onto Wyvern's damaged leg, digging her fingers into the leg with one hand while slamming punches down into Wyvern's knee, trying to force Wyvern's hold to loosen before pushing over to the other side again while pushing her chin further forward to force Wyvern's arm away completely and roll away from the woman!

Having reached Alizeh's back and secured firm grip on her opponent, Wyvern held a distinct advantage in the grapple despite her overall lack of skill in the area compared to her opponent. She notes Alizeh's immediate use of her chin to prevent a choke-out, but ultimately that didn't matter to the Irish wrestler. Her purpose with this grip wasn't to win, but to wear down her opponent without needing to rely much on her own dwindling reserves of energy. This late in the match, both combatants were running out of steam, and even small advantages could swing the outcome. The pain inside her elbow was inconsequential. The flesh was soft, but with her pain tolerance it would do nothing to affect her. Alizeh's other response to her predicament is more effective. Despite her absurd strength, Wyvern still isn't exceptionally heavy for someone of her height, and she doesn't have the grappling knowledge to prevent Alizeh from flipping the two onto their sides. And with both hands occupied, she has no way to defend her knee.

"Khhhh..."

This close, Alizeh can feel Wyvern's pained exhalations from the repeated strikes on her injured limb, but there is no other indication that her attacks are having the desired effect. On the contrary, with the positioning changed, Wyvern is able to hook her feet and squeeze her thighs together, looking to crush the breath out of Alizeh's ribs. Or just crush her ribs generally, the tactic is as weighted towards force over finesse as any of Wyvern's fighting methods. At the same time, Wyvern releases her hold on Alizeh's neck, attempting to use both arms to restrain the one the Texan wrestler is using for her strikes.

Wyvern was a tough woman. Extremely tough. Not just in the generic use of the word in that she was skilled and strong. But in the truest sense of the word, she was a fighter, someone who, when she got her teeth into you wouldn't be able to get her to let go whatsoever for any reason. It was a dangerous type of opponent to go into a match with, especially a multi fall match such as this one. Right now she was showing exactly why this was the case. In the time Alizeh had known her, which admittedly wasn't long, the black haired woman was not one to use submissions often. Rather she was far more into traditional strikes and raw power type moves.

Now that she was desperate enough to lock in a submission on Alizeh, the woman was not letting go easily whatsoever. It was too tightly locked in, choking Alizeh hard and leaving her without many options but to turn them over so Alizeh could get Wyvern's weight off her and start attacking the woman's hurt leg. Even while doing so though Wyvern was far too dead set on her hold to give up, in fact, she even managed to hook her feet together to make the leg lock even tight making Alizeh wince from the pressure around her sides. There was one bright side at least in that Wyvern had abandoned her choke hold in favor of grabbing Alizeh's hands in an effort to stop her from working over the woman's hurt leg.

That was good, it at least meant that Alizeh wasn't going to get choked out anytime soon. Now that she could breathe Alizeh would shift her own strategy, using her hands to grab onto Wyvern's wrists, trying to lock her arms down and keep her from reapplying the choke hold. Turning over and extending her leg out to plant her feet on the mat Alizeh would suck in a breath as she moved to try and stand up to her feet. It would be a herculean task, but Alizeh would use her all to do so, holding out Wyvern's arms as far to the sides as she could. If she got up... Alizeh would push forward, moving as fast as she could too the nearest corner, ducking her head down as she ran to try and ram Wyvern's skull into the padded turnbuckle!

Alizeh never failed to impress Wyvern, and this newest maneuver was no exception. While the Irish wrestler is justifiably proud of her immense strength and fortitude, the Emerald Storm is able to keep up with and even overcome her through skill and willpower despite being outmatched in power and striking ability. Even here, from a terrible disadvantage, she had already managed to reverse the grapple and put Wyvern back on the defensive in almost no time at all. No matter what she did, Alizeh always seemed to have a plan to counter. Even her successes would eventually be reversed, and her failures magnified. For Wyvern, eternally seeking out greater challenges and desiring stronger opponents, this match was the height of perfection. It wasn't just fun to fight Alizeh. She could feel herself growing with every exchange.

Before Wyvern can try to begin striking at her opponent, her usual strategy for discouraging extended grapples, Alizeh ends her assault on Wyvern's knee and seizes the younger wrestler by the wrists, using her superior wingspan to push Wyvern's arms into a position where she can't easily power out of the grip like she might normally do. From there it's a simple, if not exactly easy, process to rise to her feet. Wyvern continues to tighten the vice grip her thighs have around Alizeh's ribcage, but it ultimately isn't enough to prevent her opponent from standing up once again. At this point, Wyvern makes a mistake. Intending to plant her own feet on the ground, she releases her hold on Alizeh, but the American wrestler's sudden burst of speed prevents her from getting any kind of stance or stability before being shoved backwards across ring.

Unprepared, Wyvern can offer no resistance as she's driven skull-first into the turnbuckle, a painful explosion of stars bursting into her view as the devasting impact occurs. Alizeh can feel the smaller wrestler slacken up a bit in her resistance, apparently too stunned from the impact to properly defend herself for the moment. For now, she's dead weight in the Emerald Storm's hands.

Re: Roaring Into The Storm: Wyvern vs. Alizeh Midori 2

Two out of three falls matches were simultaneously one of the Alizeh's favorite match types, but also one of the most brutal and dangerous experiences she could put her through. Which is why it was odd she loved them so much. Especially against a woman like Wyvern who was so brutally efficient and tough in her own right and with such explosive power to boot. Naturally the match had been more akin to a war between them, both Alizeh and Wyvern giving it their respective all to outdo each other and win the coveted third fall.

Despite this neither seemed closer to winning the match than the other... till now at least. Wyvern's attempt at a choke hold had been good, great even. But Alizeh was first and foremost a technical wrestler, even if she was jill of all trades, but knowing and reversing holds was the area Alizeh shined in the most and she showed it alongside her improved power and strength as she escaped the hold Wyvern had on her by standing and pulling Wyvern's arms out to the side.. Before running forward and spiking Wyvern's head off the side of the ring corner, dazing the woman significantly and making her let go of Alizeh completely... Also coincidentally making her go limp, although Alizeh doubted that was the case, but it would at least mean she had a chance to capitalize.

Letting Wyvern drop down from her back Alizeh would turn and reach up to wrap her arms around Wyvern's head before the woman could drop down away from her. Truthfully there were a plethora of options Alizeh could do, but she didn't know how long Wyvern would be dazed for and she didn't want to let this chance slip, so she was prioritizing speed over impact. "YAGHHHHH!" With a violent roar of determination Alizeh would leap up, pulling Wyvern along with her, landing feet first on the top rope before running along the side of them, stepping off the corner and launching herself along with Wyvern forward. As she did so however Alizeh would turn her body while bringing her legs up, bracing them on Wyvern's feet before seizing two hand fulls of Wyvern's dark hair as she fell down, aiming to spike the woman's face off her knees with a tornado double knee face buster!

Well, that didn't work.

Although painful and disorienting, the impact to Wyvern's skull hadn't been enough to render her as helpless as she had made it seem. Hoping to slow her opponent down, she had gone limp and hoped that her dead weight would slow her opponent down a bit and give her a bit more of a chance to recover. By now, she really should have known better. Once again, Alizeh had proved that she wouldn't be hindered by something as basic as that. The girl wanted to win, and a bit of tiredness wasn't going to get in her way. Wyvern, of course, was in exactly the same boat. And if a plan doesn't work, you move onto the next. The Irish wrestler wasn't the sort to have just one.

Normally, in a situation like this she might have tried to resist with strength and hold Alizeh off the ground, but with her knee as heavily damaged as it was she couldn't rely on it to support the weight of two people at once. Instead, she takes advantage the moment that Alizeh releases her hands. As the two wrestlers fall back towards the canvas, Wyvern wraps her arms around Alizeh's thighs, digging her fingers between the clenched limbs before exerting a herculean effort to tear Alizeh's legs open. If she succeeds, the face buster loses the hard surface and much of its impact.

On the other hand, it will also drive her face into Alizeh's groin when they land, a tactical liability for the match and another deadly threat to her embattled dignity.

Re: Roaring Into The Storm: Wyvern vs. Alizeh Midori 2

Unread post by Bare »

Alizeh was doing her best to surpass Wyvern again and keep the dark haired beauty down for good in this long and drawn out match between the two. It was to be expected in all honesty, the longer the match went, the harder and more brutal both got. Especially after the second round and Wyvern's massive string of utterly brutal offense that had laid waste to Alizeh.

So now the Emerald Storm had to do everything in her power to make up for it and pay Wyvern back. In order to do that, after stunning Wyvern with that ramming into the corner, or so Alizeh had thought. Under the belief that Wyvern was putty in her hands Alizeh would seize Wyvern and leap up on the corner, trying to hit Wyvern with some high flying offense to take her down for good.

However, Wyvern wasn't as stunned as Alizeh had initially expected her to be. Pulling Wyvern down along with her Alizeh would wince mid air from fingers digging into her legs tightly. 'Shit don't tell me..' Alizeh thought to herself before her legs were pried apart, taking away the blade she had levied against Wyvern. 'Shit.' Alizeh thought before her back hit the mat, making her wince while she felt the weight of her opponent's head... landing on her crotch.

Blushing softly as she looked up Alizeh couldn't even get mad about her move being foiled.. Not with how hilarious this position was... not to mention advantageous. "Here i thought you weren't into this kind of thing." Alizeh said to the Irish woman jokingly before snapping her legs up, wrapping them around Wyvern's head to go for a reverse figure four head scissors! Which would just so happen to force Wyvern's face even deeper into her crotch in the process.
