Strikes weren’t really Valerie’s ‘thing’, but she had been trained in them, as you would expect from the daughter and successor of a legendary striker. The second Valley Doll had been known for having the best legs in the business in her day, and the third’s were nothing to sneeze at, either. While she lacked speed, she could make up for it with power and explosiveness, and the results of that were showing as she landed a crushing blow on Alizeh.

Satisfied with the impact, Valerie landed and prepared to capitalize, only to see her opponent recovering far faster than she had expecting. The Emerald Storm was tough, taking one of her best hits and standing strong, but that just meant Valerie needed to hit her harder this time. She darted in, raised her leg, and shot it out with a thrust kick, looking to flatten Alizeh with a powerful blow…

…only to wind up eating a thrust kick herself.

Valerie had no idea if her own kick landed or not, but she could attest that Alizeh’s certainly had, catching her flush on the chin and landing with a deafening crack. It took her off her feet and planted her flat on the canvas, dropping her quick, arms and legs splayed, eyes rapidly blinking.

Alizeh was a jack of all trades, always has and always will be and while she was no master at any single style she was certainly capable of keeping up with the best in any of them. This included strikes, her toughness especially having been honed by her time in LAW and her kicking ability especially being tempered by years of athletic training and practice on various faces and chests from her years in both the indies and LAW.

Of course that being said there was little that could be done by an unexpected kick straight to the face. While turning and going for a thrust kick it would appear that Valerie had the same idea, throwing a thrust kick of her with the two meeting in the middle of the ring and catching one another flush. Feeling her kick connect with the blonde's face Alizeh was rocked by the third valley doll's own and send lurching forward, face first on the mat!

"Ugh... Fuck me..." Alizeh groaned out, seeing stars for a moment as she put her arms under her and tried to lift herself up a bit. Not getting very far before falling back down, rolling over as she did so to now be on her back, looking up at the lights while trying to get some hits of oxygen in her body, attempting to recover as soon as possible!

”THIS IS AWESOME!”
CLAP! CLAP! CLAP CLAP CLAP!

”THIS IS AWESOME!”
CLAP! CLAP! CLAP CLAP CLAP!

Well, at least someone was happy. Valerie could say she wasn’t too thrilled at the moment.

Oh, she was happy that she was still in the match, still holding her own against a pillar of LAW like Alizeh. But God, was her body paying the price for it. She was fairly certain they hadn't been wrestling that long yet, but it already felt like they had hours on the meter, like this was the last stages of an Iron Man Match. Every time she thought she had the Emerald Storm on the ropes, she just kept coming back, showing insane resiliency. It was almost inspiring.

But that was okay. That was fine. No matter how many times Alizeh got up, Valerie would keep putting her back down.

”Okay.” She slapped the mat, sat up, and began rising to her feet, ignoring her legs' protests. ”Okay, okay, I’m good. Don’t tell me that’s all you have, Alizeh-san.” She gripped the ropes for support and pulled her way up, rising up on unsteady feat. ”Come on. Come on. Valerie stumbled back to the corner and leaned up against the pads, sucking in as much oxygen as she could. ”Stand up!”

Well if nothing else the crowd was certainly behind the action going on in the ring right now, Valerie and Alizeh both had seemed to have steadily impressed everyone with chants this is awesome along with a chorus of claps. Not that Alizeh could truly appreciate it right now with her position on the mat, panting to try and get some air and and recover somewhat after that double impact they had taken.

Looking up at the lights in the wake of that exchange Alizeh groaned once more.. Before starting to grin a bit. This was getting exciting, really exciting, Valerie's skill and strength really pushing Alizeh to her limits and she was captivated. Incensed even, wanting nothing more than for Valerie to keep up the pressure and force Alizeh to do the same.

Apparently Valerie was thinking along similar lines as she repeatedly called for Alizeh to get up and the blonde did so herself, pulling herself up with the air of the ropes. "Hehe.. no worries, just needed a breather." Alizeh said with a soft smile playing at her face before suddenly pulling her legs up and then kicking them, kipping up from her back onto her feet in a much faster and more dynamic way than her opponent, even if it took her longer to start up.

Regardless Alizeh would be on her feet, looking at the third Valley Doll with a grin on her face. "That was pretty fun, you're really good by the way.. So don't worry, I've got plenty left, I just hope you can last." Alizeh said with a grin as she began to circle her opponent in preparation for the two to clash once again.

For all her bravado, anyone with two functional eyes could see that Valerie was starting to show some real signs of weariness, reaching her limits. It was to be expected - Alizeh was that good, at the top of their division, and while she had been challenged before, this was a unique sort of test, pushing her in ways she hadn't experienced before.

But she could do it. She was sure she could. She just had to keep pushing and persevering, and she would come out on top. Just a bit longer, a bit harder, and this match would be hers.

She took in a few deep breaths as Alizeh rose, then joined her in circling about the ring, bringing them back to square one. They had each other’s measure now, putting them on the same footing. For her part, Valerie needed to get in there and take away Alizeh’s agility, making her speed a non-factor. If she could get a good opening and hit her with the Spear, maybe she could get her up for the DVD…

After a few moments, she decided to go for it, charging in with her arms up, as if looking for a grapple. Instead, she threw her body back, raised her leg up, and shot it out at the last moment, trying to nail the Emerald Storm in her chest with a Big Boot.

Alizeh was officially back on her feet and the brief pause that had fallen over their match was over. Once more the two would start to circle one another, hands up in preparation, Alizeh silently sizing Valerie up and seeing where she was at. Despite her strong words she was definitely looking hurt and winded.

Good. That meant that she was worn down and while Alizeh wasn't a whole lot better, she was still in better condition regardless. All she needed to do was to try and keep it up. Of course that was easier said than done and Valerie was quick to make said job as hard as possible as she came in towards Alizeh!

Narrowing her eyes and keeping her hands where they were Alizeh would standard her ground for what appeared to be a grapple only for the girl to lean back and throw a leg up instead! Eyes widening at this Alizeh would feel Valerie's leg impact with her chest and start to send her backwards...

Only Alizeh's hands had still been up and in close proximity to where Valerie's foot had impacted her chest. Allowing the greenette to clasp her hands over Valerie's ankle.. So despite the pain Alizeh would look up at Valerie with a small smile before pulling up, twisting the blonde's foot around for a tight ankle lock!

Valerie charged hard, thrusting with all the power she could muster, intent on taking Alizeh off her feet. While she wasn’t the kicker her mother was, she could still put a good degree of power into her strikes, and she was certain that a direct hit would have disastrous effects on the Emerald Storm. It was risky, she realized that, but she was running out of options. She needed to bring this to a close.

And for a second, she earnestly thought she had. She felt the kick connect, felt it follow through, knew it had to be a solid hit, knew it had to hurt. Alizeh was going down.

Then it all went to crap.

”Hey-” Valerie flailed about as her leg was snagged, taking her off balance and sapping her momentum. She twisted about, toppled over to her chest, and then the pain started, a searing fire in her ankle. She looked back to see Alizeh with the hold secure, and panic set in. This was the exact last thing she needed right now.

Desperate, she crawled forward, making a mad scramble for the ropes, trying to drag her opponent to them before things grew any worse.

Taking a hit was never necessarily a good thing in a match, but the absolute best outcome for it was when you did so in order to capture and target the person who hit you to potentially do even greater damage.

Such was the case for Alizeh right now as despite Valerie's big boot leaving her a little breathless Alizeh had managed to hold onto the blonde's foot and turn things around by trapping the blonde in a brutal ankle lock!

Smirking to herself Alizeh knew that while this was a great hold to have on it wouldn't last. Sure enough Valerie was quick to start dragging them towards the ropes which would initiate a rope break... But at this stage of the match that just wasn't something that Alizeh could allow.

Giving a hard tug on Valerie's leg Alizeh would hold onto Valerie's thigh while pulling her further back until the blonde's but was nearly pressing against Alizeh's groin, which if done Alizeh would then move to loop her arms around Valerie's waist, trying to lift her up before swinging backwards to try and transition from the ankle lock into a German suplex to send Valerie crashing into the mat behind Alizeh!

If this had happened earlier in the match, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Oh, it would’ve still sucked for Valerie, having her ankle twisted like this, but she could’ve shrugged it off, taking some time for the pain to dull, and wouldn’t have to worry about any other wear and tear.

Now, though, it was quickly becoming a death sentence, growing worse with each passing second. Alizeh had it locked on with expert tightness, making every moment in the hold her own, personal hell. She just had to get to the ropes, a little further, almost there…

Valerie gasped as she was not only pulled away, but hoisted upwards, forcing her to stand on one hopping leg as Alizeh clutched her tight. She realized what was about to happen and made one, final try for the ropes, but it was in vain - there was no saving her. She cried out as she was flung upward and over, coming down hard on her upper back for a German Suplex.

Knowing she needed a breather, Valerie tried to keep rolling, hoping she could take her momentum and slip out onto the floor. A desperate bid, but it was all she had right now. She needed space, damn it.

If Alizeh had to describe this particular moment of the match in one word it would be.. zenith. It was the peak of their match, the climax, or at least Alizeh believed it was the start of it. Both women had showed out their skills, their athleticism and their grit and had a better understanding of each other as result. Given their respective skill levels and physical states it would only be a matter of time for one to manage putting the other down.

Of course.. that was only the scientific explanation but there was an emotional one too and it was a lot simpler.. Shit was getting fun! At least that's what Alizeh thought. Both she and Valerie were nearing their limits and everything was feeling way more intense than earlier in the match and she was loving it. This was it, this was what she was hoping for when Valerie had answered her promo and now that it was here she was savoring every last single moment of it.

Hence why she was starting to dig a bit deeper into her tool bag, transforming that ankle lock into a German suplex on the blonde. Managing to hit it Alizeh would let go and roll over before pushing up to a standing position, smirking at Valerie as she writhed on the mat before rolling out of the ring. 'Sorry, but you're not getting away that easily.' Alizeh thought as she turned and ran at the corner, climbing it with all the agility she could muster while facing the outside where Valerie was before turning around... and leaping backwards, twisting through the air as she descended for a sky twister press to the outside!
