Valerie was totally aware that she dodged a bullet. While she wasn’t that familiar with Alizeh’s moveset, she got the impression that her opponent was going for something climatic, probably her finishing move, and that it would’ve likely spelled the end for her. She’d managed to avoid that fate; good job on her, but that alone wouldn’t be enough. She needed to make something out of it.

The lariat was a good start, but now that her opponent was down, Valerie wanted a good followup. She could’ve just dropped down and nailed her with all sort of things, but there was a particular move she had in mind. A little risky, but if there was ever a time to go big or go home, this, was it.

Valerie hopped back to make space, the leaped forward and backflipped as she soared, doing a full rotation, dropping all of her body right on top of Alizeh as she went for a Standing Shooting Star Press. Assuming this didn’t blow up in her face, she’d be going for a pinfall right after - not likely to work, but no harm in trying.

Alizeh had been on the attack doing high impact move after high impact move to hopefully try and win this match. Of course it wasn't quite effective in putting the woman away but she was far from done. Or at least that's how Alizeh had thought of it, only to get hit with a lariat out of nowhere!

Flipped through the air and dropped to the mat in a daze Alizeh would groan and shift on the mat, trying to sit up in the wake of the move. Now it was Valley Doll's turn to try and go for some heavy offense of her own. Something that Alizeh would be met with near immediately as the blonde crashed into her chest!

"Gah!" Alizeh cried out in pain, her torso and legs shooting up from the wake of the shooting star press! Pinned immediately afterwards by the blonde Alizeh would grunt a bit as the ref dropped down counting the mat once and then twice... Before Alizeh kicked out at the last moment with a shout!

”1…!”

”2…!”

Two. Just two.

Valerie wasn’t surprised that it didn’t work. If anything, she was emboldened, knowing she had worked the more veteran wrestler to the point where she could get a solid two-count. This was a game of inches, and it would boil down to who maintained better control. Right now, she was in the driver’s seat, and she had to make the most of things while she had the chance.

With that in mind, she figured her best bet was to keep piling on the damage, and to do that, she needed to take this fight to the middle of the ring, where she was at her best. She stood up, grabbed Alizeh by the legs, flipped her over to her chest and proceeded to pull her away from the ropes, away from her safe haven. As soon as she was at the best distance, she stepped over her, dropped her knees on her opponent’s back, grabbed her by the chin with one hand and her thigh with the other, and proceeded to roll over to her back and raise her foe up at the same time, forcing her body to bend over her upturned calves.

The bow and arrow hold, a move that used gravity to aid her strength, bending Alizeh further and further back into a position she wasn’t designed to go. A great way to test her flexibility.

Alizeh had managed to kick out of that hellish lariat at two somehow. Not unbelievably impressive on its own given she was still pretty fresh prior to the move, but given the sheer force of the lariat it was still an impressive kick out all things considered. Still Alizeh wasn't out of the woods just yet with Valley Doll moving quickly now that she was the one in position to cement an advantage over the green haired girl.

Turning her over onto her front and kneeling on her back before twisting her legs around and holding her thigh before grasping her chin before the two were rolled over, Alizeh's body turned to the sky and bent in half, like a cruel form of torture from the Spanish Inquisition, in the dreaded bow and arrow stretch! "Aghhhhhh!" Crying out in agony from the hold Alizeh would struggle and squirm in pain, trying to lessen the pain in her spine to at least a small degree but not having much luck at doing so as she hissed softly, knowing she had to find some way to get free of this hold.

"Ngh Agh!" Groaning loudly Alizeh would twist side to side, trying to loosen Valerie's grips on her before twisting to the side sharply, attempting to pull herself off of Valerie's knees and free of her grip to fall onto her chest, trying to hold her down for a pin!

”Come on, Alizeh!” Valerie cried out as she pulled her opponent further and further into an unnatural shape. ”Tap out!”

Deep down, she realized that the Emerald Storm wasn’t about to give up - you didn’t get as far in LAW as she had by being the sort of person who would tap out to a Bow and Arrow hold. Valerie could wear away on her with this move, though, and the good thing was that she could hold onto it for a while, doing real damage to the woman’s back while it was impossible for her to reach the ropes.

She should’ve known it wouldn’t be that easy, though, and Alizeh showed why in the next moment, when her opponent rocked her way forward and came down flat on her chest, putting her in a pinning predicament out of nowhere. The referee did her job, sliding over and slapping the mat for a count.

”1…!”

”No!” Valerie gritted her teeth, rocked forward, and sat up as the referee’s hand was coming down for a second count, lifting Alizeh in the process. She kept her opponent against her chest, holding her as the planted one foot on the ground, then the other, stood tall, and marched forward, clutch the green-haired wonder tight every step of the way. As soon as she was close enough to the edge, Valerie tossed her opponent up, gripped her by the chest and thigh, and proceeded to hoist her high into the air with a Gorilla Press, presenting her as if she was a prized trophy from a grueling hunt.

She was showing off, just a little, but that wasn’t the main goal—no, she also intended to throw Alizeh clear out of the ring and to the floor, and she moved in on the ropes with that goal in mind.

Alizeh was in a precarious position right now as even though she managed to get squirm free of the blow and arrow stretch into a pin fall attempt it wouldn't last long before Valerie began to push herself up, gripping onto Alizeh as she did so lifting her up along with her! Eyes widening in surprise at this Alizeh would wave her legs about, not quite able to to do anything as Valley Doll got to a standing position along with Alizeh!

Not able to do much about this Alizeh would find herself pushed up higher up above Valerie's head in a gorilla press! 'Shit this really isn't good!' Alizeh thought to herself before looking up and seeing that they were rapidly approaching the edge of the ring! "Grrr no way!" Alizeh yelled out as she began to fire down elbows into the blonde's head, hoping to stun her enough to loosen her grip and let her go.

If successful in doing so it would lead to one other problem. Namely that she would be left to fall down to the mat! Not wanting to face plant hard into the mat Alizeh would turn her body midair pulling her legs in and throwing them around her opponent's arms as she fell before grabbing hold of Valerie's waist. If successful at doing this Alizeh would use her momentum from the fall before using her legs to pull the blonde backwards to try and reverse into a sunset flip powerbomb!

Valerie wasn’t crazy enough to think that she could beat Alizeh this way by just throwing her out of the ring. Sure, it would be a nasty spill. The Emerald Storm had already shown just how resilient she was when she withstood the volley from a few minutes ago, taking some of her best hits and getting up after each one. Though she was the bigger woman between the two, it was starting to feel like they were fairly equal in terms of endurance.

That wasn’t going to deter her, however, and she could already suss out what needed to be done, here - she needed to whittle away on her opponent, bit by bit, play the long game, land as many big hits as she could whenever they were available. It wasn’t a sprint but a marathon, and she was looking to take a big lead with this.

Those aspirations came to a screeching halt, however, when her opponent fought hard, nailing her in the head with a wild elbow. She rolled out, fell behind Valerie’s back, and she could feel her body start to fall backward as her arms were hooked, the clear makings of a sunset flip powerbomb.

”No-” Valerie planted her feet and jerked forward, counteracting Alizeh’s momentum and keeping her feet planted. There was an awkward moment where her opponent simply hung on her back, both of them precariously balanced, before she reached back and grabbed her opponent’s arms, pulling her up over her back, hoisting her high into the crucifix position.

Valerie took a moment to walk away from the ropes and point towards the center of the ring, taking aim, before she stood up on her tiptoes, fell forward, and attempted to bring Alizeh over her head and slam her down hard on her upper back, nailing her with the Razor’s Edge.

This point in the match was where people were seeing the extent of both Alizeh and Valerie's wrestling skills, both technical and power based as very quickly this was becoming a battle of counters with Alizeh managing to escape Valerie's gorilla press and come down the blonde's back, intending on pulling Valerie over for a sunset flip power bomb!

But the blonde was showing her own skill and raw power by catching Alizeh, stopping her momentum and leaving her dangling with wide eyes on the woman's back, hanging forward with little to do about until suddenly she was tugged upwards and felt her arms grabbed! "Whoa!" Alizeh cried out in shock, kicking her legs about as they were turned towards the center of the ring meaning Alizeh only had moments to try and respond.

Sucking a breath of air in Alizeh would pull her legs up to her stomach before kicking them outwards while pulling her arms forward, trying to break free of Valerie's grip and flip off her back and land feet first on the mat in front of her! If successful with her daring escape Alizeh would use the momentum to move backwards, right into the ropes to rebound off of them and come rushing right back at her opponent, leaping up as she did so while raising her knee up for a running knee strike!

Because of the way the attack went down, Valerie wasn’t able to see the way Alizeh hit the mat, but right away, she recognized that something was wrong. She’d slammed enough people to know the difference between a back hitting the mat and boots touching down, and that was the latter, no question. Which meant that Alizeh had countered her again. Which meant that something nasty was about to come her way.

The only problem was that Valerie had no way of knowing what that something was, what with her face towards the mat and all. The moment she pushed up, a knee came rushing into her face at Mach speed. The blow landed dead center, right on her nose, forcing her to stand straight up and stagger back, reeling from the hit.

Valerie blinked, stunned for a second, before she gathered her senses and moved forward, intent on giving as good as she got. Fire against fire, then - she leaped towards Alizeh, cycled her legs as she flew, and attempted to strike her foe in the face with an explosive Bicycle Knee.

Being flung about through the air almost back to back by the larger woman Alizeh wasn't about to let herself be demolished like a rag doll. Managing to stick her landing and using the momentum of her roll through Alizeh had rebounded off the ropes and succeeded in landing a running knee on Valerie! Landing back on the mat from the leap Alizeh would look up, seeing the blonde stumble... Before coming right back at her.

'Wha-' Was all Alizeh could think about before Valley Doll came barreling back towards her cycling her own legs around in order to deliver a knee strike of her own right towards Alizeh's jaw! "Ugh!" Alizeh groaned out, the move landing flush on her as a result! Stumbling back herself from the blow Alizeh would wobble for a moment, seemingly about to collapse... Before Alizeh darted forward herself, turning as she did so to try and throw her leg up to try and land a thrust kick right at Valerie in return!
