Skating Against The Lioness: Natalie McCathy [D] vs. Teuila Masina

Natalie made a dash for the outside, but before she could slip out of the ring, Teuila tackled her and prevented her from leaving the ring. Despite the extra weight, Natalie tried reaching out for the skate and had half her body dangling off the apron. However, Teuila grabbed her by the right leg and pulled her back as Natalie scraped at the outside mats before being pulled in. Natalie knew if Teuila had the chance, she was done for! She refused to lose! Not in her debut match! Natalie had to think fast before revving her left skate across the canvas getting the wheels running. She left then lifted her skate and the wheels to Teuila’s hands letting the wheels run over the Samoan rookie’s knuckles. Either this would tickle Teuila to the point of letting go or Teuila would perform another move quickly to avoid the sensation.

[Bare]

Teuila finally got exactly what she wanted from the moment she and Natalie had started things off. The latter's skate off, it had so far been the bane of Teuila in this match for how much speed and mobility the provided her opponent. Now it was like Natalie was a sitting duck as Teuila applied her submission to the girl. Though she had only managed to get one of Natalie's skates off and despite being down to one, Natalie was still pretty creative in its use, running it across Teuila's knuckle bringing a small chuckle to the Samoan's lips as the girl did so. Naturally her hold loosened as a result however, something Teuila was deftly aware of before dropping it all together and bending down, aiming to try and grab hold of her opponent's waist to try and lift the woman up in position for a suplex!

Natalie managed to loosen the hold, but Teuila had grabbed her up and put her in position for a vertical suplex. Natalie didn’t want to go for a sky high ride so she put free foot between Teuila’s legs to prevent her from lifting the skater girl. It was quite the balancing act as Natalie still had one skate on her other foot so the slightest rolling would send everyone into a tumbling mess. She had to act accordingly and if she has to cheat to get some distance, so be it. Natalie reached her right hand up to rake across Teuila’s eyes which earned her a very scolding warning from the referee.

Natalie stuck her tongue out before diving for the outside and picked up her lone skate. She fumbled with it putting it back on her foot and was struggling to stick her foot in. Damn, Natalie forgot these things were a headache to deal with in such quick scenarios. She managed to get it on before reaching for the laces to start tying them back up. Natalie glanced back at Teuila and hoped she had enough time to tie her skate back on before the Samoan came down on her.

[Bare]

Teuila smiled in near victorious relief after getting Natalie's skate off and tossing it out of the ring. Being the single biggest advantage of her foe it was beyond beneficial to Teuila, as shown when she had seamlessly gotten her in a hold. Even if it had been slipped out of Teuila was far from done and she was fixing to do some more damage when lifting Natalie up for a suplex.

Before she was able to fully land it however she felt a leg blocking her from doing so! 'Damn!' Teuila thought to herself, trying to force Natalie the rest of the way through but being unable too. Due to being too focused on forcing Natalie up however Teuila hadn't expected the eye rake that came whatsoever! "Gah!" She shrieked out from the cheap move, releasing Natalie and falling on her bum, clutching her eyes and moaning in agony, unable to do anything as Natalie got outside the ring and reclaimed her skate!

Natalie successfully retrieved her skate as the ref started counting her on the outside getting halfway there. Natalie got on the apron and waited for Teuila to get back up as the skater saw the Samoan model down on her ass. Natalie would try for a Springboard Clothesline to build a comeback against the rookie and then go for a Standing Leg Drop to hurt Teuila more.

The crowd gave a mixed reaction with mostly boos as Natalie had to cheat in order to get this far ahead. She wasn’t a full heel in the ring, but whatever it took to get ahead, Natalie would apply to her situation. The skater would then go to an opposing corner revving up the wheels on her left skate looking to push out and go for The Derby Knee (Running Knee Strike (rolling variation))

[Bare]

Teuila hissed and groaned in pain as she rubbed at her now stinging, red and watery eyes. A result of Natalie's devious eye rake robbing the Samoan of her vision and her advantage in this match all at once. Just as she started to stand up and turn towards where she thought her opponent was Teuila was just brought right back down by her opponent, dropped to the mat with a springboard clothesline!

"Gahhh!" Teuila cried out, holding her chest while looking up at blurry lights above her, her vision still out of whack from the rake. This of course left the Samoan girl open to the follow up leg drop crashing down onto her already hurting chest, making her legs bounce up before Teuila sat up altogether, wheezing in pain, making her the perfect target for Natalie's finisher, sending the brunette down onto her back once more, legs hanging above her head with a glazed over look in her eyes!

Natalie then decided this was her chance for the end of the match and put up rock signs to the cheering crowd, but it did earn her some boos as some fans didn’t like her cheating to get her way. Natalie rolled her eyes before skating to Teuila putting her legs down and dragging her prone body to a corner. She then goes out on the apron and skates to the corner beginning to climb until standing on top making sure to balance herself properly.

“Time for extreme tricks! Courtesy of the Daredevil!” Natalie screamed with her eyes closed to the mostly cheering crowd.

Natalie would first try for a Swanton Bomb dropping her back on Teuila before propping up on her feet. She then flipped backwards for a Standing Moonsault and then stood up to hop on the middle rope going for another Moonsault onto Teuila. Natalie stood up again getting an adrenaline rush that she was familiar with and loved before frontflipping onto Teuila with a Standing 450 Splash crashing on her stomach. To end her quick succession of moves, Natalie went back up to the top and tried for the final move of a Phoenix Splash! She called this chain selection of moves, The Daredevil!

[Bare]

Teuila groaned in pain on the mat from Natalie's blitz of moves, her eyes still blurry and stinging from the eye rake Natalie had done to gain the advantage she had. Now it was the least of her problems though, the successive moves Natalie had hit, especially that knee drop had left the Samoan girl laid out and dazed, unable to properly think or process what had happened.

Unfortunately for Teuila however things weren't going to ease up on her anytime soon as her opponent had it in her for one more string of offense. A very, very long string. Unable to push herself to avoid or counter, Teuila was subjected to aerial move after aerial move. Dropped and squished beneath Natalie's body at varying angles as the girl continuously crashed into her. Laying on the mat motionless after the series of moves would end Teuila's eyes wouldn't even be open anymore, leaving many to wonder if she was even conscious anymore!

[Pegasus]

“Awww, look at the baby rookie sleeping! Yeah, a nap sounds good to me, too,” Natalie muttered as she outstretched her arms and yawned.

Natalie skated over to Teuila putting the rookie’s legs over the prone body and then gently rested her back on them. Natalie put her hands behind her head and pretended to doze off, but snapped her fingers to get the ref counting her makeshift pin.

“1! 2!”

[Bare]

Just as Natalie had said, albeit mockingly, Teuila was out cold from the onslaught of attacks. As a result she was totally unable to do anything as her opponent mockingly pinned her down, the next part not shocking anyone who had been watching the last few minutes of the bout.

"THREE!" The ref shouted while the bell rang, officially ending the match between Lioness and Roller Derby star.
