Hinoka Taiyo vs Mic Check- Rock and Awe

Hinoka stopped looking at her opponent for any movement as she prepared the press. What didn't help was that she didn't realise the distance between the two. To her surprise, Hinoka would find her arm and leg secured by the rocker. "How the hell did you get here so fast?" said the redhead as the two were hanging on the top turnbuckle. This was not an appropriate time for questions as Mic would throw the two in a somersault. Hinoka landed on her back yelling out in pain as a result of the awesome move. Mic's finisher took a toll on both of them, could this lead to a double count out?

As the ref came around to look at the two, Mic sprung to life and laid on her back on top of Hinoka barely hooking her leg. The redhead felt the large weight on top of her, but she felt very drained by the earlier attack. Instead the ref decided to count the pinfall. After such a devastating move, this was likely the end of Hinoka.

Hinoka burst back to life and kicked out before the third count could be made. The crowd would be shocked that the match was still going. Thankfully Mic didn't make a secure pin, so with her limited stamina Hinoka was still in this match. However she would be a bit too exhausted to make a fully recovery as she laid on her back.

Mic Chick held onto the pin for one count... Two count... And then she felt her body be pushed forward as Hinoka kicked out. Mic sat up and shook her head, looking tired before promptly falling over onto her side and actually starting to smile. Despite it all, she was having a great time in this match. And after a second to rest, the rocker started to push herself up off the mat, slow to get to her feet on her slender, wobbly legs.

Mic looked down at her opponent and then said, "You're tough, Red Hot, but I'm still game to party." She offered an earnest but tired smile and then attempted to reach down to try pulling Hinoka to her knees by her shoulders. The blonde then said, "Check one two..." and stepped back slapping her leg. She would then attempt to hit Hinoka with a superkick under the chin, hoping to knock her back down.

After pushing her opponent off of her, Hinoka would be still laying on her back taking deep breathes trying to regain the strength. The match was becoming a bit more slow paced with how strained both women were. However, even if it meant breaking a leg, the redhead was driven to get her first victory.

Her shoulders would be grabbed by Mic and was pulled onto her knees. Hinoka half opened her eyes to see the blonde preparing yet another attack. Due to standing up would be tedious, Hinoka had to focus on blocking or it would be over for her. The rocker shot out her leg for the superkick, but before it would reach her opponent's face Hinoka would catch it with both arms. "Three..." whispered Hinoka with a smirk as she stretched out one of her legs and quickly tried sweeping her opponent off her feet. Hoping that it would buy some time, Hinoka tried crawling to the ropes needing to regain her footing as fast possible.

The rock star went for another one of her signatures, calling it out with the Check One Two, but after she went for the kick, Hinoka grabbed her foot. Mic Chick threw her head back for the one moment it was caught, as if to accept how screwed she was at the moment. And then she was unceremoniously falling to the mat with a sweep! Mic landed with a thud and let out a groan, laying back there as her body yelled at her to keep down.

But she wasn't about to do that, she slowly rolled over and tried to crawl a few paces away so she had a bit of distance from her opponent. She wiped her forehead, getting some of her hair out of her face and getting some sweat from it too. And she slowly stood up and turned, realizing that she was up at roughly the same time as her opponent, who needed the ropes for help. Mic wished she had the ropes for help too, honestly. Still, she managed and was thankful for that. Summoning her strength, Mic Chick approached Hinoka and then shot a kick straight for her thigh, hoping to inflict a little bit more pain on her foe and make her slower to move on those swift legs of hers. And honestly, Mic didn't have the strength in her to do anything more flashy at the moment either.

With her opponent stopping the offence for a brief moment, Hinoka was able to crawl towards the ropes and get back on her feet. She turned around at the exact same time as her opponent. "Well here we go again." remarked Hinoka as she slowly walked towards Mic. Suddenly, the rocker would shoot a kick towards the redhead's left thigh. Hinoka kept her mouth shut to hold in any screams from the nasty stinging sensation. However, she wouldn't be subdued for long as Hinoka was still standing and her other leg was perfectly fine.

"Two can play at that game!" said Hinoka sounding a bit aggressive as she retaliated by shooting her right leg at Mic's thigh. The redhead would stop to take a breather as her leg was still feeling a little sore. She needed to take the rocker down as possible. Hinoka stomped the ground in preparation as she shot out her right leg once again, but this time for a kick to the head. It would most likely bring Mic to the ground if it landed, but the blonde was rather unpredictable. Who knows what she will do?

Mic Chick's leg kick had managed to land, and the rocker needed to give herself a second to breathe after it. And as she was ready to strike again, her redheaded opponent bad struck her in the leg with a kick of her own! Mic let out a yell as she held her hurt leg and hopped on her good one, giving Hinoka a bit of a scowl. Sure, it was only fair, but it didn't hurt any less.

The rocker knew she needed to try to put Hinoka back down, hopefully for good and came up with an idea. She planted her hurt leg and then swung it up with a roundhouse kick that cracked against Hinoka's head with a strong impact! But Mic Chick wouldn't hear or notice that. She was nailed in the side of her head at the very same moment by Hinoka's kick and went wide-eyed in shock. She stayed upright for just a moment longer before collapsing over onto her side and rolling slightly onto her front, head ringing and barely knowing where the hell she was now. She could only hope that Hinoka was much in the same shape.

Hinoka attempted a simple high kick as opposed to what her opponent would soon do. She was too driven to hit her opponent to bother dodging the roundhouse coming her way. Her reckless tactics worked to an extent. Her own leg would make a dent in the side of Mic's head knocking her straight to the ground. At the same time though, the rocker's leg would connect with Hinoka's skull. The redhead's eyes would reach to the back of her head as a result of the trauma. Hinoka stepped back before turning around as she slumped onto her front.

The crowd didn't know what to make of what they just witnessed. Even a slight time deviation could have lead to at least one of them standing. Now both wrestler were laying down.

1...2...3...4" said the ref counting both wrestlers out. Could this possibly lead to a double knockout?

Mic Chick was laying on the mat as the referee counted. She got to five and Mic picked up her head, still looking like she was in a daze.

"6... 7..."

Mic pushed off the mat by her hands to lift her upper body off the mat, cringing as she did so. The numbers started to ring in her ears, and she figured out what was going on. She didn't know if Hinoka was up or not, but she wasn't going to let herself get counted out here. Except all the strength she had could only allow her upper body off the mat. She closed her eyes tight and took a deep breath, shaking her head.

"8... 9..."

Mic then got to her knees with a struggling yell before all of a sudden screaming and springing herself from her hands and knees into the nearby corner, shoving her entire body into the corner, leaning her chest into it as she panted, arms slung around the top ropes while her face rested against the turnbuckle pad. She didn't know if without the corner she would be standing right now, but all that matters is that she had beaten the count. She could only hope that her Red Hot opponent couldn't do the same.

Hinoka would laying on her stomach drooling slightly as the ref continued.

"5...6..."

The numbers were loud enough for the redhead to hear. As a result, Hinoka's eyes would be shot open wide. She needed to get up soon, otherwise it will be all over for her. Mic was not her priority at the moment. With the roundhouse kick still rattling in her head, her stamina fading and the impending countdown, Hinoka had no time to make a second decision. She would punch the canvas to raise her upper body up, while using her other hand to drag her across the ring. The ring ropes were her best and only chance at survival.

"7...8....9"

Hinoka would be in front of the bottom rope reaching her hand desperately, but she was a few inches short from grabbing it. Is this how it is going to end? Gritting her teeth, Hinoka channelled her limited strength into her legs to kick downwards. This would raise her body high enough so that she would reach and grab the middle rope. Grasping it firmly, Hinoka rose up to her feet barely beating the count. Her face would be dripping with sweat and was starting to look like the colour of her hair. She was laying between the upper ropes trying to regain energy. Hinoka turned her head briefly to see Mic laying in the corner. The match was still on, but it looked close to ending by the looks of both women.

With effort, Mic Chick eventually rolled her body over to slump in the corner, noticing Hinoka was on the other end of the ring, barely keeping standing with help of the ring ropes. Chick had a wry grin on her face, shaking her head before handing it as sweat dripped from her brow in front of her. She then flung her head back, hoping to get some hair out of her face even as much of it stuck to her forehead from the perspiration. Then, Mic gestured towards her redhead opponent with a hand rather lazily and shouted over at her, "Yo, Red Hot! If you want, I'll let you give up! I got you on the ropes...!" Mic laughed a bit deliriously at her own little joke, tilting her head to rest on her own shoulder as she regarded her opponent.

She then pushed herself out of her corner. Her whole body ached at this point and her head was throbbing a bit. She wasn't in great shape now, but she noticed that Hinoka wasn't either. She shambled her way to the middle of the ring and gestured for Hinoka to meet her there, raising her hands up. "Kidding, babe. I still wanna kick your ass," said Mic with a smirk, despite her exhausted disposition, even winking at Hinoka and making it obvious she was being good-natured. She then looked like she wanted to lock back up. They were back on equal footing now, after all.
