The count kept going as Alaina nodded her head as the count reached two! Alaina fully expected Gemma to kick out, but she stayed on top of her to make a statement and to force Gemma to expend all that energy to kick out. It would take a fair bit out of the smaller woman but Alaina also knew that Gemma was truly a gritty competitor who wasn't fully out of anything until the final bell sounded. Alaina found that out the hard way in their tag match after all...

Gemma could feel her muscles tighten in her abdomen, as Alaina settled on top of her and kept her hooked into the pinfall. The British punk was laid out, rocked, struggling to keep her head above water after suffering through the jackhammer. The Brit bit her lip, tears edging at her eyes. Could this be it, she asked herself?

Finally, as the referee prepared to bring her hand down that final, fate-sealing time, Gemma exploded from her core. Her shoulder flipped up as her leg pumped out of Alaina's grip. Gemma rolled over, not just getting a shoulder up but flipping her prone body onto her front, breaking the pin. Gemma lay there, her chest pressed hard against Alaina's leg while she panted for air. Gemma's shoulders heaved, and she tried and failed to push herself off the canvas. It might have just been barely, but Gemma was still alive in this match.

Alaina felt Gemma kick out with force, and she rolled away to rise to her feet again. She knew Gemma would be up before long so the amazon tried to recover herself before going back on the attack. Alaina crouched and waited for Gemma to get back to her feet before turning around to run to the ropes. Alaina bounced off and built up some momentum as she ran right at Gemma. Once she was close she jumped into the air and flew at Gemma horizontally as she aimed a flying cross body block right at the young woman! Alaina felt like she had to keep on top of Gemma otherwise the firecracker could go off in an explosion of offense. That would not be good for Alaina at all.

The jackhammer had nearly turned the lights out in Gemma's head for the rest of the evening. However, the adrenal rush of coming so close to defeat got everything up and running again. Gemma was almost in a panic for a moment, stumbling as she got up to her boots. However, the punky British Bombshell was newly determined. She couldn't lose this match, not after all the smack talk that had gone down between herself in Alaina, not after realizing how Alaina had beaten Gemma's own idol in front of her, all those years ago. Gemma had to keep fighting!

Looking up, Gemma saw Alaina come hurtling back at her in a dead run. The Amazon would fly up into the air, looking to squish Gemma's smaller figure with a flying cross-body block. Gemma knew the hit would take a lot out of her, maybe everything, so she reacted with last-ditch desperation. Bracing her legs, Gemma extended her arms, trying to catch Alaina. If she could get her arms around the Amazon, around her shoulder and between her legs, Gemma would carry through with Alaina's momentum. She wanted to twist in the air with the Amazon, using her own momentum to bring her crashing down to the mat beneath her with a twisting powerslam!

Alaina jumped up but felt Gemma grab on! As she was lift and spins he shook her head and screamed! "N-no way y---ARRRRGGGHHHHH!" Alaina shouted as Gemma powerslammed her with authority! Alaina writhed on the mat and kicked her legs, her inner thighs shaking upon each impact as she was now laid out by Gemma! The pain of the slam along with the shock of the reversal left the amazon laid out!

There was a crashing sound as the bodies of Alaina and Gemma slammed down into the mat. The fans let out a shocked cheer at the sudden reversal of fortunes, but Gemma could barely make it out with Alaina's cry of pain in her ear. The punky Brit was simply glad that the desperate reversal actually worked, using Alaina's own momentum to bring her crashing to the canvas. Gemma knew she had to capitalize, but she barely had the strength. Gemma got up to her knees for a second, a look of utter exhaustion on her face. Then, she lurched forward, extended an arm, and collapsed over Alaina's fallen form. She sank into the Amazon, prompting the referee to come sliding in to count the exhausted pin attempt!

Alaina felt all of Gemma's weight laying across her chest and figured her best way out was her lower body! She kicked her legs and bucked her hips but the count hit one with the amazon still down! Right before a two count Alaina managed to raise both legs high and bring them flopping to the mat, thrusting up with her hips to arch her back enough to break the pin! Alaina tried to shove Gemma away, leaving her to sit up and rub her back as she slowly made her way up to her feet.

"S-so you want to show off your power huh..... let's see how much you like this!" Alaina said, trying to fight through he pain to lumber over towards Gemma. She tried to grapple with Gemma, attempting to work her hands in a position to scoop her up and slam her again....

"Ah!" Gemma gasped, as Alaina bridged herself out of the pin. Flopping back into a seated position after Alaina shoved her off, Gemma backed off her opponent. She was still struggling for air, gathering strength for the continuing match.

Gemma saw Alaina coming, saw how much slower she was after taking that powerslam. The punky Brit pushed herself up to her boots, but quickly found herself once again in Alaina's arms! Acting on instinct, Gemma tried ot fend the Amazon off. Shooting her leg high and hard, Gemma looked to connect with a knee strike to Alaina's belly, hoping she could both break free of Alaina's scoop slam attempt, and knock the rest of the air out of her powerful lungs!

Alaina groaned as she was lifting but the surprise knee strike made her let go! "Oomph.. damn it...." alaina muttered to herself as she double over, staggering back a few steps. The amazons as angry, and she tried to straighten herself out by stepping in to a hard body punch aimed at Gemma's abdomen to slow her growing momentum!

"Hah," Gemma panted, "gotcha!" Gemma could feel Alaina fall back under the force of her knee strike, giving Gemma a chance to regroup. Shaking her head, white pigtails whipping around her head, Gemma moved in close the distance between them and, if she could, wrap her arms around Alaina. If the Amazon wanted to make this contest about powerslams, Gemma was willing to work with that!

At least, until Gemma actually stepped in, and caught Alaina's fist straight into her belly! The Amazon's fist squished Gemma's belly, doubling the punky Brit over! "HOOOFFFF!" Gemma groaned, cheeks puffing out as the air was pushed out of her. Gemma grabbed her aching abs, legs going wobbly. The Brit stumbled around the ring then, feeling a bit nausious, Alaina's blow rendering her body stunned and suddenly useless!
