The Princess and the Tiger: Katsumi Oshiro VS. Bengal

Bengal is relieved to hear the referee declare a No-Fall, but she can't take any time to rest on her laurels. Her elbow strike isn't going to keep Katsumi at bay for long, and she knows she has to follow up immediately. She leaps to her feet, trying to ignore the dull ache in her head. The surge of adrenaline from her kickout helps with that, though not as much as she might like.

Her eyes flick back into focus, evaluating the situation. Katsumi is a few feet away, one gloved hand pressed to her reddening cheek. Bengal raises her arm, as if she's going for another elbow strike - but it's just a feint. Instead, she drops low and spins behind her opponent, then seizes her around the waist, just above her gold-studded belt. Pumping her legs and arching her back, she lifts the punkette up, attempting a German suplex! It's a surprising but risky maneuver. Bengal has always been more of a striker; she's not exactly well-known for her throws. That just means she won't see it coming, she thinks, trying to reassure herself.

Katsumi's taken a good couple shots to the face tonight, now. And sometimes matches run like that - people love shots to the head. The effectiveness can't be questioned, to be sure, but if Katsumi could be selfish for just a moment here? She hates it. Disorienting, and risking hurting the whole new appeal she has going for her.

Still, she's never shied back from a fight. Being so image-conscious about it is a new spin for her. Something she'll have to wrestle with later, when she doesn't have a, you know, physical person right here to wrestle with already.

When the follow-up shot starts to come in, Katsumi shifts her position into a kneel, free arm raised to deflect it! But she suddenly finds Bengal's arms wrapped around her midsection, her presence directly behind her. And after some struggling, Katsumi is brought up to her feet, the backs of her shoulders pressed tight against the Indian woman's chest. And then she's brought up and over, head and shoulders crashing to the mat in a German suplex!

Her legs fold over herself as the position is bridged, Katsumi's mind briefly overwhelmed with the burst of pain from the impact. But instinctively, her legs kick, causing her hips to buck, shoulders twisting to break up the balance and drop to the mat on her side.

"Nngh.."

Bengal rolls over and stands back up, pursing her lips with annoyance. She had meant to transition from the suplex into a bridge, pinning Katsumi - but the Punk Princess twisted out of her grasp, before the referee could even begin her count. That was the risk of trying an unfamiliar move, after all. The good news is, Katsumi is now in the perfect position for a different move, one that the Blaze Tiger has much more experience with.

She seizes her opponent by the straps of her bralet, pulling her roughly onto her knees. Then, she grips Katsumi by both wrists and takes a step back, as if preparing for some bizarre dance. The punkette's green eyes widen with shock as she realizes Bengal's intentions - but by then, it's too late. The Indian fighter yanks on Katsumi's arms while simultaneously driving her knee forward. It's a picture-perfect Kamigoye, aimed directly at her opponent's jaw!

Katsumi is still on her side, one arm looping the back of her head where she impacted the mat. She needs a moment before she can really focus on what's going on again, her world still spinning. But a moment isn't something she's afforded, as she suddenly feels pressure on her bralet! Thankfully it's a rather tough, durable material, and she's pulled back to her knees with a wobble.

Her wrists are taken, though she's still a bit too dazed for any widening of the eyes in shock - she's lagging behind processing what's happening. And soon, she pays for it with a knee colliding with her already aching jaw, causing her head to whip back! She teeters slowly before her torso folds back. With her knees still tucked beneath her, Katsumi lies arched back on the mat, arms sprawled above her head and eyes resting shut.

Bengal admires Katsumi's prone body, spread-eagle on the canvas. "You know," she muses, "You're kinda cute, when you're not running your mouth. Silence is golden, right?" The Tiger smiles mischievously. It feels good to be back on top, after everything Katsumi has put her through. Speaking of being on top...

She crouches over her helpless opponent, then leaps high, kicking out her legs in opposite directions. Bengal seems to hang in the air for a second, hovering between the canvas and the overhead lights far above. Then, she crashes down onto Katsumi's chest with a split-leg drop! The punkette's legs jerk upward from the force of the impact. Bengal wastes no time snaking her arm around them, sandwiching her opponent's thighs together, as the referee drops down to begin another count. "One!"

Katsumi isn't in much position to be getting snarky or refuting any of the remarks made over her. She can hear them, to be sure. They're registering. But her mind is too much of a jumble after taking that last hit, her focus too hazy. The most she's getting out of it is that Bengal thinks she's cute, sort of. At least with a lot of fine print attached.

As she mentions it, Katsumi squirms on the mat just enough to slide her legs out from beneath her to alleviate the tight arch in her back. It's only when the lighting above seems to flicker that the punkette opens her eyes - greeted with a pair of legs and hips plummeting down at her. Bengal's full weight crashes down over Katsumi's modest bust, instantly causing her limbs to recoil upwards. And that appeared to be a part of the plan, as Bengal hooked them to keep the legs in the air.

Breathless, Katsumi squirms on the mat as the referee hits the mat for the first count. As the second slaps to the mat, she lets out a croak of disapproval, twisting enough to throw her left arm into the air and lift her shoulder enough to break the pin officially!

Bengal is bucked off Katsumi as the punkette twists her body up from the mat. "No fall! Two-count!" the referee calls, holding up two fingers. Bengal glares at her, as if she wants to swat the hand out of midair, but decides against it. She needs to focus on her opponent instead.

"Don't want to make things easy? Fine with me," she spits at Katsumi. "I like doing things the hard way." Standing behind the punkette, she grabs her left arm and folds it back towards her neck. Then, she drags her into a standing position, as she traps her opponent's head with her own right hand. If she's successful, Katsumi will be locked in a cobra clutch!

"Quit choking yourself!" Bengal whispers mockingly into Katsumi's ear, as she cinches the hold in tighter. It's a childish taunt, but she can't help herself. "Hell, maybe you should just quit altogether..."

After Bengal lifts her weight from Katsumi's chest, the punkette flops back down to the mat to take a second to breathe, listening to her foe tough-talk her. Finally, she starts to smirk. "Easy... is so.. fricking boring...," she replies between breaths. A hand raises, pawing through the air to get her bearings. It lands briefly on Bengal's thigh, but soon gets turned back around against her, twisting against her neck. Pulled, Katsumi is drawn up to her full height, and the cobra clutch cinches in.

"Gnhh-!"

Katsumi's eyes squeeze shut, her expression written in distress, flailing blindly with her free arm. Her hair partly obscures her face, but the struggle is obvious as Katsumi twists at the hips, trying to gain some leverage more onto her side before the tightening worsens too far! The referee hovers nearby, keeping a keen watch on the submission - for whether Katsumi taps out or goes limp!

Bengal can feel Katsumi thrashing in her grip, like an animal caught in a trap. The struggle excites her, making her feel powerful and dominant. However, the punkette won't be struggling much longer - at least, not if Bengal has her way. She torques Katsumi's left arm even harder, until it feels like the limb is about to snap in two! As she does so, she makes sure to keep an eye out for her opponent's other arm as it whips wildly through the air. The last thing she needs right now is to catch an errant blow in the eye or jaw.

She leans in even closer, until her black-painted lips are almost pressed against Katsumi's cheek. "Tap or nap, bitch," she hisses. "I don't care which!" She laughs softly to herself, delighted by her own accidental rhyme. The crowd is on the edge of their seats, waiting to see if the Punk Princess can escape.

"Nnh..!" It's all Katsumi can do in this constricting predicament, hissing in pain. With one arm fully trapped and her neck suddenly tightly compressed, she can feel the panic setting in. She does not want to go unconscious! Not with this chick! It's an even worse proposition than losing! And as the haze starts to set into her mind, the thought of tapping out briefly flashes in. It's a safer alternative than trusting this person with her defenseless self! She may have resolved to never cross particular lines with a helpless opponent, but she can't say she knows Bengal has any such restraints! Especially in a venue like LAW!

"Ghn!"

Her hips twist and push back, struggling into the hold to create a little gap between their torsos. She only needs a bit, with Bengal's arms tied up at neck-level! Her free arm draws back and swings in, attempting to drive a fist against the Indian woman's ribs! Twice! Three times! Hammering and pounding to drill in the punishment!
