Sheila Chihara vs. Kimiko Bando - POW Match

As she landed outside the ring on the hard, unforgiving ground, Sheila went still. Her teeth clenched in a pained grimace, and she clutched at her temples, trying to nurse the pounding sensation in her skull. She was a stubborn and resilient girl, but such an impact was bound to leave her reeling for a while. And when she felt Kimiko lift off of her, she grew tense, looking back at her opponent out of the corner of her eye. This meant trouble, surely! She was down, and Kimiko was on the move. Sheila had partaken in some extreme hardcore matches before back in her backyard wrestling days, and she had grown used to thinking that when a match went out of the ring, it could only mean that mayhem was about to ensue. Now she was dazed and defenseless, and Kimiko had the liberty to do whatever she pleased! Surely she was going to take full advantage of that fact - and Sheila had to stay on guard!

Kimiko reached out and grabbed Sheila by the hair - and with that, the Australian girl let out a yelp as she was dragged back up to her feet. "Yeeeow! Ow!" she cried, grabbing at the back of her head. The thought that Kimiko was trying to help her never once crossed her mind. To Sheila, this was clearly an attack - and an attack she needed to be on guard for!

Kimiko's apology fell on deaf ears. Sheila's instincts kicked in, and she grabbed hold of Kimiko's arm, pulling down on it as she went to throw herself onto her back to hurl her back onto the ground in a shoulder throw! She had to defend herself against this ambush!

"Five!"

"Haaah! Not gonna get me that time!" Sheila taunted, completely oblivious to the reality of the situation as usual.

For wrestlers with little if any morals like heels or wrestlers of certain style the outside of the ring was a little under ten seconds to really make your opponent hurt with such little padding an a lot of metal around them, thankfully for Sheila, Kimiko was no intention of doing such a thing though and instead opted to attempt to help her opponent back in the ring, though Sheila seemed to have different intentions or misinterpreted Kimiko's as she was quick to act in contrast grabbing Kimiko's arm and flipping her, overhead causing her to land on the floor with a thud.

Groaning in pain Kimiko pushed up on her hands and knees. Hearing her opponent's taunt Kimiko looked up confused. "I was just trying to help you..." Kimiko said motioning towards the referee who was still counting with her head.

"Can we just go back in the ring?" Kimiko asked while attempting to push herself back up to her feet. She would then attempt to slide back in the ring if Sheila let her reenter peacefully and without an unneeded struggle.

"...Ah?" Needless to say, Sheila had watched, and been in, plenty of matches where the action had spilled over out of the ring, and rarely was anyone quite as courteous about it as Kimiko was being toward her right now. Perhaps she was only doing what was expected as an athlete with a belief in proper conduct and respect for the rules...but it seemed as though the wrestling world was home to more people who were willing to stretch those rules than people who abided by them. So much so that someone who was more concerned with helping their opponent back in the ring than beating down on them seemed almost unthinkable. Sheila looked back at Kimiko in abject bafflement, blinking a few times. She wasn't going to launch a trap? She wasn't going to grab a chair or something?

Either way, the referee was counting - and that reminded Sheila that she only had so much time to act! Shaking herself out, she looked back up at the ring. "RIGHT! Right! Sorry about that!" With that, she scrambled back in under the ropes, quickly picking herself back up to her feet and shaking herself out before she cleared her throat.

"Anyway...where were we?" She raised her hands and bent lower at the knees, getting into a fighting stance as though nothing had happened at all.

Kimiko was still a bright-eyed rookie new to well... the world, until a few months if not weeks ago she had never even seen a large crowd or city and now she was wrestling in front of a huge audience. Kimiko didn't want to stretch the rules in any way, she was here to compete and make a name for herself and her family honorably so when the match spilled to the outside Kimiko was eager to take it back inside, her opponent's confusion was a funny mix when it came to Kimiko's good nature.

Thankfully Sheila agreed with her and the two slid back in under the ropes and back into the ring. With the two back in the ring Sheila's question was met with a thought-filled hum from Kimiko. "We could just restart with a grapple I guess" Kimiko replied raising her arms and inviting Sheila in for a lock-up.

Kimiko had a good head on her shoulders, but she was sheltered and hopelessly naive. Sheila was a die-hard fan who had lived and breathed wrestling from a young age, but was also as dumb as a post. Together, the two of them helped make up for each others' shortcomings...but neither of them was really all there. Sheila had attacked Kimiko on the outside, anticipating an ambush, but all Kimiko wanted was to help her back up, not realizing her opponent was ready to strike. now that they had figured out where they were coming from...they were back to square one, neither knowing where to go from here.

For a moment, the two girls stood there staring blankly at one another. Luckily, though, Kimiko had an idea to get things back on track - and almost as soon as she heard it, a grin flashed across Sheila's face as she flashed Kimiko a thumbs-up. "Yeah, alright! I'll do my best!"

In fact, Sheila snapped right back into her old instincts, as though nothing had happened! She was back in the heat of the match, and that was what would drive her forward! Sheila sank into a stance of her own - and right then, she grabbed Kimiko firmly by the arms, attempting to reel her inward with a firm yank! If she could bring her close enough, she would waste no time in throwing her arms around the Japanese girl's waist, and attempting to hoist her up to throw her head-first into the mat as she slung her over her shoulders for a German suplex!

Kimiko was smart, but ignorant and naive on most things, especially if she wasn't experienced in a particular category and she didn't have any reason to think of Sheila's intelligence as any less than hers especially as the two were smart enough to take things back in the ring and then agree to start things up again. Kimiko raised her arms ready to lock up with Sheila, but Sheila seemed even more eager as she darted forward and pushed against Kimiko, the woman's aggressiveness quickly overwhelmed her and Sheila slipped behind her, the woman's arms coiling around her waist like two python's before she was lifted and slammed on her neck and shoulders! Kimiko's eyes and teeth clenched in pain as her body tensed and untensed at once, her mind going blank entirely for a few moments.

The mixup Sheila and Kimiko had been through a moment before had brought the momentum of the match to a halt, but it wasn't long before they were back on track. Sheila settled into a stance, focusing in on Kimiko - and then, the moment she was in range, she brought her in closer before circling behind her and going to hit her with the German suplex! Sheila wanted to show that she wasn't going to let this lull in the action keep her down for long. And she couldn't think of a better way to do so than to hit Kimiko hard right out of the gate!

Sure enough, Kimiko fell back to the mat with a resounding thud, and Sheila's supporters broke out with cheers! The Australian girl grinned, pleased with her efforts. But she wasn't about to stop now! Now that Kimiko was dazed, Sheila would have to act fast to capitalize on this opportunity. She took off running toward the ropes, bouncing off of them before shooting herself back toward Kimiko - and as she closed in on her, she'd hop off the ground and hold her leg out, hoping to nail her with a leg drop!

Kimiko groaned as the fog in her mind cleared. She heard footsteps, loud and fast footsteps, they were her opponent's... wait she was already up... and coming back towards her? Snapping back to reality Kimiko glanced to her side seeing her opponent's feet leaving the canvas. Rolling quickly she dodged out of the way making sure Sheila got nothing but a hard uncomfortable landing. Thinking on her feet and needing another moment to fully clear her head Kimiko would pull and shove Shiela so that the woman's back on the canvas and with that she would attempt to go for a pin by laying across her, it was incredibly doubtful this would even get Kimiko a one count but it gave her a moment to rest!

As soon as the two girls were back in the ring, it was as though Sheila had all but forgotten about the mix-up a moment ago. Now, she was back to her usual tricks - and already, she had thrown herself back into the fervor of the match, hitting Kimiko hard with a German suplex! Now, a grin spread over her face, and she stood tall, fired up with a newfound burst of energy. She wasn't going to stop at that - and in a flash, she was off, going bouncing off the ropes from one side of the ring to the other. She built up more and more momentum with every step, until she was ready to channel all that force into a leg drop onto her prone opponent!

Except...when Sheila hopped up in the air, that leg drop didn't hit Kimiko at all. At the last minute, the Japanese girl managed to roll out of the way, and all Sheila did was come crashing down on her leg! The once-eager look on her face had now turned into a pained wince as she let out a yowl, then rolled over clutching her leg. All that momentum she had built up was now turned back on her. And while she lay there stunned, she was powerless to stop Kimiko from shoving her down and getting on top of her, going for the pin!

As soon as Sheila felt her shoulders touch the ground, her survival instincts kicked in. She wasn't about to let herself stay down for long - and she kicked out with a burst of energy, then tried to shove herself over to the side in an attempt to roll herself on top of Kimiko! If she could make it there, she'd draw back her arm to try and land a forearm strike right across her opponent's face!

A few seconds, just a few seconds were all that separated Kimiko from a world of hurt from a leg drop and managing to roll out of the way. Thankfully the latter was the outcome and led to Kimiko quickly shoving Sheila down and going for the pin, it wasn't going to get her the win but it gave her a moment to recollect herself. And as expected soon after Sheila's shoulders hit the canvas the woman quickly kicked out but what wasn't expected was the woman quickly go back on the offensive as she rolled on top of Kimiko!

Kimiko's head snapped aside as her opponent landed a hard forearm strike. Thinking quickly she brought her arms up trying to protect her face from further attacks while squirming her body and kicking her legs, trying to get away from Sheila as quickly as she could while avoiding more strikes if possible.
