Toshimi Minami vs. Maria Crawford - Venus In Fur

Maria wasn’t surprised when Minami broke the count at two, not genuinely believing that her latest attack would’ve won the day. But it would’ve been a welcome development, and that brought disappointment. The longer she spent grappling with the Venus of Submissions, the higher the chances that the woman could get her in one of those legendary submission holds, and they would only be harder to escape from as the match wore on. It felt like an unseen clock was ticking somewhere, and she felt the pressing need to bring this match to a close.

There would be no respite for Minami after her shoulder went - Maria’s next move would be to put the woman on her chest and straddle it, going for her next move. She reached over, wrapped her arms around her foe’s neck with a sleeper hold, and pulled her up, forcing her back to bend in a variation on the traditional Camel Clutch - a move she liked to call Breath Play.

”Tap or nap, Minami.” She growled into her opponent’s ear. ”The choice is yours.”

Minami grunted in pain softly after being taken down to the mat by Maria's meteora but the follow up pinfall was absolutely not gonna best her and she showed it by kicking out fairly quickly. Unfortunately it still left her in a disadvantageous position before Maria and she was definitely the type to take advantage of it, forcing Minami onto her back before saddling herself on top of her back.

"Oh hell.." Minami thought to herself, already knowing all too well what was about to happen as she felt Maria's arms wrap tightly around her neck and pulling her backwards for a signature move! "Ngh!" Minami groaned out in pain as Maria did this. Despite the pain and breathlessness of the hold though.. Minami wasn't panicking. To do so would be to give herself to her opponent and that was something she absolutely refused to do.

Instead Minami would close her eyes and take a moment to focus herself, ignoring the pain she would tightly curl her arms around Maria's leg... Before turning sharply on her side, attempting to take her opponent off her feet and roll them over! That wouldn't be it though, as Minami would then push herself up and over her opponent's body, attempting to reverse into a jack knife pin!

Maria gripped Minami tight, applying the maximum amount of pressure, determined to squeeze the life out of her resilient foe. She’d gone into this match fairly confident, only to have that eroded as the struggle went on, and she was rapidly reaching the point where she wanted little more than to annihilate this annoying bitch in as brutal a fashion as possible, and she couldn't think of a more fitting more to do it with.

”I don’t have a preference either way, just so you know.” She whispered straight into Minami’s ear, letting her words tickle the fine hairs on her skin. ”If you go to sleep, I get to drag your body all around the ring and make a show of it. If you tap out, well, I just submitted the Venus of Submissions.” She had a little laugh at the thought. ”Which I guess would make me the new-”

She could likely guess where it was going, but Maria would never be able to finish her sacrilege, as she was suddenly rolled over with Minami coming on top, breaking the hold. That would’ve been bad enough, but the referee dropped down nearby and-

”1…!”

Maria’s eyes widened at the first count, and she let go of Minami’s neck straight away and began to flail about, trying to get the woman off of her. ”Stupidfuckingstupid-”

”2…!”

She pushed up hard and hurled Minami off with all her power, saving herself with less than a second to go. That had taken a monumental effort on her part, though, and it left her gasping as she tried to push up and rise once more, not even paying much attention to Minami at the moment.

Despite getting locked in one of her opponent's signature submissions Minami would live up to her nickname, managing to find not only a way out to the hold, but turn it into her advantage via a pinfall attempt! Naturally it would have been disappointing to Minami if she had won this way, after all she was looking to make Maria hurt as much as possible, and to do that she would need a victory by submission and nothing less.

Luckily though Maria had managed to escape the pnfall attempt. Meaning Minami still had the chance to bring Maria down, and as she lurched forward and up into a standing position Minami knew just how to do it. Turning and taking stock of where Maria was and her position she decided that one good signature move was worth another.

Turning to the ropes and running at a angle so she would jump up and land on the ropes right in front of Maria before pushing back, launching herself backwards towards Maria with a springboard! "Haghhh!" Minami roared out as she approached, twisting midair and bringing her leg up before swinging it down as she approached Maria, looking to land her signature spring board axe kick move Wolf's Fang!

”Lucky bitch!”

Maria slapped the mat as she rolled out of the pinfall, escaping an embarrassing loss at the last second. She had the little cretin, she’d had her, and she managed to slip through her fingers all the same. It was more than infuriating. Like they were taking turns playing cat and mouse, and she’d just messed up her round.

But no matter. She would get in, catch Manami once more, pound the little bitch into the ground, and then…

…was Manami doing a springboard?

The motion was so surprising that the shock alone had Maria stunned. Minami was so known for her submissions that it was easy to forge that she could do other things and cast her as a one-dimensional threat, but the proof was flying towards her at mach speed. Maria tried to bring her hands up for defense, but it was too late - Minami’s foot crashed against her skull and sent her staggering back.

She wound up smacking against the turnbuckle and would’ve sunk if she hadn't draped her arms over the ropes. But she wasn’t going anywhere all the same, her mind too muddled to lean on the pads in a stupor.

Despite some ups and downs in the match, Minami was holding her own, not only keeping up with Maria, but even managing to counter her fairly well to create small leads for herself. Now after this latest exchange though she managed to pull ahead by a leap and bound, landing one of her signature moves right on Maria's crowd to send the woman stumbling away!

Pushing herself up to her feet and taking stock of Maria's position a wicked grin would cross Minami's face as she approached the corner trapped Maria. Reaching up to grab her by the hair she would look to drag Maria forward before turning and pushing Maria back towards the corner but face first!

If the impact with the corner was successful though Minami would then take to the ropes. Stepping onto the middle rope before hopping back to sit on Maria's upper back while her legs curled over Maria's arms.

If successful than Minami would twist, pulling Maria's body a bit to the side as Minami went over the ropes, pulling Maria's arms taught over them and bending her torso over the top ropes! As she came down though Minami would grab Maria's legs, pulling them up and back over the ropes for a brutal tarantula stretch submission!

Maria wasn’t in the best spot, and she realized it, but all hope wasn’t lost just yet. As aggravating as Minami was proving to be, she was still the bigger, sturdier wrestler between them, and she was confident she could just grind her smaller opponent down if given ample time. One moment, one solid slam, was all she needed to turn the momentum, and…and…was Minami smiling?

Yes, yes she was, and Maria didn’t like that at all. It wasn’t a common sight, and she wouldn’t have to wait long to learn what it was for, either, as the Venus of Submissions moved in and grabbed her by the hair, pulling her out and forcing her to spin around. The next thing she knew, Minami was crawling over her, pulling her against the ropes, grabbing her legs, and…

A tarantula. The bloody bitch put her into goddamn tarantula.

Maria didn’t bother trying to hold back the screams. She let them fly, loud and clear, as Minami proceed to stretch her out against the ropes, bending back into an obscene angle. The only saving grace was that this could only go for so long. The referee was already counting. But five seconds in a tarantula was a long time.

Especially when it was being applied by Toshimi Minami.

Oh the Tarantula. While Minami didn't consider it one of her signatures or finishers, she could definitely say it was one of her absolute favorites to pull out when she had the chance. Such was the case here with Maria, and as the woman screamed out in utter agony it only served as evidence as to how beautiful this hold was.

Honestly it was almost perfect. Almost. If not for that pesky count from the referee because of the hold involving the ropes. Rolling her eyes as she heard the count start Minami kept the hold on until the literal last second, releasing the hold right before she would be disqualified, landing on her feet outside the ring and looking up as Maria slumped to the mat.

While she was on the outside though Minami would make the most of it. Pulling on Maria's leg Minami would try and rotate the woman's body so that the arm she had been working on all match was now within reach. Grabbing the limb and pulling it past the ropes Minami would walk to the side, closing the short distance towards the corner... Before giving a hard yank on the limb, to smack it against the steel corner!

”Freia! Freia!” Maria cried out as Minami continued to stretch her out of shape. ”Don’t just stand there, fucking do something!”

Despite her protests, Freia stood there, idly looking up, as if this was the most mundane. It was a little hard to be sure, what with the excruciating pain and everything, but she swore the woman was checking out Minami’s butt. ”Like what, exactly? The referee is standing right there.” She thumbed her way just as the referee was hitting the third count. ”Two seconds. You’ll be fine.”

Despite Freia’s assurances, Maria was nowhere close to ‘fine’. Quite the opposite. It felt as if limbs were about to pulled out of their sockets, and she was just reaching her limit when Minami broke the hold and let her flop back down, giving her a moment of rest.

It was not a long moment.

”What-” Maria jerked up as Minami snagged her leg and worked her around, using it to grab hold of her arm. Maria’s eyes widened as she realized what was about to happen, but there wasn’t much she could do about it, aside from begging. ”No, no, don’t-”[/color

Minami did. She did, so hard. Maria cried bloody murder after her arm was slammed into the post and rolled away to caress her aching limb, which felt as if it had been pulled clean out of the socket. Growing desperate, she crawled on her knees towards the ropes, knowing she needed to make as much space as she could between herself and the Venus of Submissions.

Minami was in her element right now. Laying into Maria with brutal efficiency that was hard to match, her sheer skill and brutality something to behold, especially to a spectator like Freia Kagami. After bashing Maria's arm against the corner Minami would look up at Freia, a confused expression across her face... surprised she didn't try anything, in fact she almost looked.. impressed?

Shaking her head Minami would choose to focus on Maria for now. After all with all the damage to her arm done so far, it shouldn't take much to end this. Rolling back into the ring herself Minami wasted no time grabbing onto Maria's ankle and dragging her towards the center of the ring.

Before finishing her though Minami would give a hard stomp to Maria's back, digging the heel in a bit as she looked down at her. "Consequences Maria. Remember? Minami asked mockingly calling back to their conversation in her dressing room before dropping down, grabbing hold of each of Maria's arms and pulling them back before locking her hands, cinching her finisher the Venus Di Milo!
