Videle Diavola vs Yasha Adachi

Videle flushed slightly, still unused to being praised by a fellow competitor. Her start in the business hadn't been easy, to say the very least, and her first experiences had been with the worst sort of wrestlers, bullies who were cruel for it's own sake. All the same, she didn't allow it to sway her focus on iota. "Thanks, same to you! Don't think compliments are gonna win you this match." She meant every word. She liked Yasha, but Videle Diavola wasn't about to hold back. Again, she made the first aggressive move, but this time she reigned in her own impatience, with a great deal of difficulty, and approached cautiously, arms raised as if offering to lock up, collar and elbow, with Yasha.

Yasha would smile as she heard her opponent's response and she'd say. "Likewise. Now don't hold anything back." Yasha said with a smile of competitive spirit as Videle came at her again. However, this time Videle didn't rush in but rather she signaled for a collar and elbow tie up. In the lock up Yasha felt that they were both evenly matched from a strength perspective so Yasha would have to use her experience and speed to take control. Yasha would try to transition Videle into a Side Headlock to put pressure on Videle's head. After a acopule of good squeezes on Videle's head with her bicep Yasha would try to transition to a Drop Toe Hold on Videle to floor her young opponent so she could apply an STF submission to further wear down her opponent.

"Mmph!" Came Videle's frustrated answer as she was pulled into a side headlock, struggling to escape the move and considering possible avenues of escape. She was in the midst of wrapping her arms around Yasha's waist, looking to counter the headlock into a backdrop, when the ninja girl beat her to the punch once again. Videle was quick, but Yasha had proven once again to be frighteningly fast, transitioning smoothly from one move to the other seemingly without pause.

Before she knew what was happening Videle found the mat rushing up to meet her. She put her hands out to brace herself after being taken down by the drop toe hold, and while that saved her from banging her head against the canvas, it did nothing to keep her from the grip of Yasha's STF submission! "Aaaaahh! Not... gonna... give!" Videle ground out, determination in her voice as she tried to wriggle and drag herself towards the ropes with her arms, pulling her own body weight along with her opponents even as Yasha cranked back on her neck!

Yasha admired the determination of her opponent, as she cranked up the pressure in the STF. Yasha would pull back on Videle's neck but her young opponent refused to submit and would continue to inch her way toward the ropes. Both women were unrelenting in their efforts. Yasha in her effort to deal damage to Videle, and Videle in her efforts to reach the ropes to force a break. The LAW crowd would begin to clap and rumble to will the wresters in the ring to continue to press on in this match, and then Yasha would see Videle make it to the ropes. Yasha would release her hold on her opponent and would stand up before backing off to survey the situation. "I admire your courage, but that won't stop me from winning this match." Yasha said as she looked to see if her opponent would use the ropes to assist herself back to her feet. If Videle did Yasha would rush to the ropes for a 619 kick to Videle's head to keep up the pressure on her opponent.

It had taken everything she had to crawl to the ropes, dragging herself there in an act of pure desperation. At last, Videle was free of the painful submission hold, but her opponent was far from done. By now she was well aware of just how fast Yasha could change gears and get back on offense, and so she scrambled to pull herself up the ropes. That turned out to be a mistake, as Yasha seemingly materialized out of nowhere, nailing her clean in the face with a 619! The impact sent Videle flying! A cry of pain escaping her lips as she fell back to the middle of the ring!

"Ooh... what hit me?" Videle grimaced, sitting up and struggling to climb to her feet.

After connecting the 619 kick, Yasha was on the ring apron. Yasha would keep an eye on Videle as she started to climb back up to her feet. Yasha would stalk and measure up her opponent for her next move. Yasha would jump up and springboard off the top rope to catapult herself toward Videle to attempt to drop her opponent down to the mat with a Springboard Flying Forearm Strike to the face. Yasha had fully committed to the and as she was in mid air the LAW crowd in attendance would cheer loudly as they witnessed this feat of athleticism.

After suffering that particularly nasty kick to the head, courtesy of a 619, Videle was only barely aware of where she was and what had been happening for the last few minutes. Slowly, things fell into place, but far too slowly as she stood up in the middle of the ring, dazed, holding her aching head. She was easy prey for Yasha's next attack, and Videle looked up just in time to see her opponent flying through the air. She brought her arms up defensively, but she was only partly successful. "Ungh!!" She cried out as that flying forearm slammed into her face with Yasha's weight and momentum behind it. Videle blacked out for a moment as she fell back to the canvas, hard, groaning.

The LAW crowd would pop after Yasha connected a Springboard Flying Forearm Strike to Videle's face. Yasha saw her opponent laid out beside her, and she'd go for an immediate pin to capitalize on her opponent's dazed state. The referee would get into position and would begin to count Videle's shoulders down to the mat with the LAW crowd counting along as well in the background. "1!!..." Yasha wasn't sure how much fight Videle had left but this was a great to test it as the referee counted.

Videle was vaguely aware of the danger, the threat of being pinned and losing the match, but her body felt sluggish and the world rocked and spun in turns, the arena lights painful to stare up at as she was pinned down by Yasha. She couldn't go down this easily. She couldn't let Yasha completely out class her like this. She couldn't give up! "2!!..." Drawing a deep breath, Videle tensed and gave her body one hard thrash to break the pin, barely managing to get her shoulder off the mat for a three count and hopefully shove Yasha away from her in the process!

Yasha was impressed that her opponent had the will to want to continue the fight in this match. Yasha would back away a bit to wait for Videle to get back to her feet. Yasha would wait patiently before she would grab Videle by the wrist before attempting to Irish Whip her into the ropes. If it worked Yasha would rush behind Videle. If Videle would turn to try and rebound off the ropes Yasha would jump up to knee Videle in the jaw to press her opponent into the ropes for more possible offense.
