Sheila Chihara vs. Kimiko Bando - POW Match

Sheila's hurricanrana had been an impressive takedown, and one that had scored the Australian girl plenty of cheers. But she wasn't done yet! She could well have transitioned into a pin if she so desired, but Sheila had been energized by the attention she was receiving from the fans, and she wanted to set up something even more impressive! The moment she and Kimiko hit the mat, Sheila had already released the Japanese woman's head and took off running for the ropes. And there, she launched herself right back into Kimiko's direction to slam her elbow down onto her back, driving her face-first into the canvas!

Once again, the cheers broke out for Sheila's efforts. Rolling up to her knees, she pumped a fist over her head with pride, joining in with a few cheers for herself - she couldn't help it; she was just getting too fired up! Then, though, she looked down at Kimiko sprawled out on the ground beside her, and she knew that she was set up for something more! A confident grin flashed across Sheila's face as she moved into position. Looking to continue on her dominant streak, she rolled on top of Kimiko's back, where she would try to hook Kimiko's arms under her legs before grabbing her chin and pulling back at it to stretch her spine beneath her weight in a camel clutch!

Momentum was starting to fully turn against Kimiko as her opponent only got more and more fired up with her being driven to the canvas. "I just have to work through this, I just have to work through this, I just have to work through this." Kimiko repeated to herself mentally as she forced herself up on her hands only for Sheila to get on her back, literally. Before Kimiko could react her arms were pulled over Sheila's thighs and the woman's hands quickly traveled to her chin before pulling back! Kimiko let out a loud cry of pain as he spine was stretched beneath Sheila's weight! "I just have to last through this" Kimiko thought to herself, trying to calm herself down before thinking of a war to get out of this hold.

No matter how many times it seemed like she'd brought Kimiko down...Sheila wasn't finished; not yet! The ever-eager Australian was like a boundless fountain of energy, and no move she landed would be enough to satisfy her. She had to keep going higher and further; to surpass her own limits! This was her chance to show the world all she had learned during her excursion, and she wanted to put her best foot forward. Her elbow drop had landed with a crack, bringing Kimiko low to the ground as she reeled from the pain - but even that was only the first step in a sequence, as she got on the Japanese woman's back a moment later to stretch at her spine with a camel clutch!

The fans were cheering for Sheila's domination of her foe, and all the attention she was getting could only fuel the Australian girl's ambitions! Kimiko wasn't tapping just yet, but that was fine - if Sheila had this much success thus far, she was convinced it was only a matter of time! She'd just need to step up her game! Her fingers clenched down tighter around her opponent's chin in a white-knuckled grip as she leaned back further, trying to stretch Kimiko's back as far as she could! Sheila was here to make an impact - and she wouldn't have anything less!

Every moment Kimiko was trapped in the hold she could feel her opponent's fingers and grip tightening on her chin and pulling back harder and harder like she was trying to take her head a souvenir! Knowing she couldn't hold out forever, especially in this hold. Kimiko' began to squirm trying to get her arms loose and off of Sheila's legs. When she got both arms free her hands would shoot to her opponent's working and trying to pry them away to begin freeing herself from the pain of the camel clutch. If everything went to plan she would then throw a hard elbow backwards towards her opponent's ribs trying to get the woman's weight off of her quickly so she could crawl and scramble to the ropes!

Now that Sheila had gotten Kimiko in the camel clutch, she wasn't going to let go so easily - not until Kimiko was ready to tap out! Gritting her teeth, she summoned all the strength she could to stretch at the Japanese girl's spine. But Kimiko was more stubborn than that - and as she twisted back and forth a few more times, she finally managed to loosen her arms enough to pull them out from under Sheila's legs. With that, she quickly grabbed at the Australian's hands and pried herself free. "Aw, man..." Sheila huffed, a little disappointed to see that hadn't been enough to work. Still, she wouldn't give up hope just yet!

Kimiko's elbow swung behind her, and it landed with a crack as it struck Sheila in the ribs. She fell to the side, clutching at where she'd been hit; her face contorted in a pained grimace. Still, she was quick to right herself, rolling back up onto her knees. She shook her head to bring herself back into her senses - and there, she would look up to see Kimiko was going for the ropes. Sheila's eyes narrowed in focus as she studied each move Kimiko took. She brought one leg in front of her, bracing her foot against the canvas. She needed to wait for just the right moment - and when Kimiko lifted herself back to her feet, Sheila would make her move, lunging back up to her full height and breaking out into a charge straight at her opponent! As she came close, she would hurl herself off the ground, throwing herself headlong at Kimiko and holding her arms out in front of her to go for a spear as soon as Kimiko seemed open!

As her elbow cracked across Sheila's ribs Kimiko felt the woman's weight fall off of her and Kimiko wasn't going to pass up this opportunity to create some space as she quickly rolled away towards the ropes stopping just short of them as she pulled herself up, rope by rope like it was a ladder until she was fully back up to her feet. Turning her attention back towards Sheila minutes later her eyes widened as the woman was back on her feet as well and charging head first at her! Thinking quickly Kimiko jumped to the right trying to dodge the incoming spear so Sheila would either crash into the ropes or go flying through them and landing outside the ring!

With a well-placed elbow to the Australian girl's ribs, Kimiko had managed to shove Sheila off of her - but Sheila wasn't about to let herself go down so easily. She tumbled aside a few turns, but quickly righted herself on her hands and knees - and when she looked up to lock her eyes on Kimiko, she knew what she had to do. Sheila wouldn't let her momentum die here. She had to hit Kimiko where it hurt before she had the chance to recover - and Sheila had a plan to put that into action.

Taking off across the ring at top speeds, Sheila set her sights on her opponent, attempting to close in on her as fast as she could. As she came near, she launched herself off her feet, prepared to come crashing into her - but it wasn't to be. Just then, Kimiko hopped out of the way, leaving Sheila hurtling toward the ropes! Her jaw dropped in a gasp as she saw herself careening out of control - but it was right then that her instincts would kick in. Just before she went through the ropes, Sheila would reach out to try and grab a hold of them, in the hopes of bringing her momentum to a halt!

If that worked, Sheila would be left dangling from the ropes and hanging off the edge of the apron, causing the ropes to sag under her weight. But, using her acrobatic skills, she would pull up and try to throw herself over the top rope to vault back into the ring - assuming, of course, Kimiko didn't intercept her partway through.

Kimiko was becoming a little weary, her opponent's high energy kept her guessing but Kimiko was far from old, and far from tired quickly jumping and dodging out of the way of her opponent charging at her like it was dark souls! Glancing towards her opponent Kimiko watched as the woman almost flew all the way through the ropes until managing to catch herself.

Knowing she couldn't let her opponent rest she popped back up to her feet readying herself like a runner preparing for a sprint, as her opponent showed signs of movement Kimiko run at her diving through the second ropes herself, attempting to do something that resembled a spear or a tackle to take her opponent down to the outside before she could pull and fling herself back in the ring! If successful Kimiko like likely take some of the impact of the landing but her opponent was more than certain to get the worst of it.

Sheila was fast and full of energy, but then again, Kimiko was too - and just as quickly as Sheila could come charging toward her, Kimiko could leverage those reflexes of hers into getting out of the way! Right when Sheila sprung toward her opponent, prepared to tackle her, Kimiko darted out of the way, leaving the Australian to go flying through the ropes! It was only by a fraction of a second that Sheila was able to grab onto the rope and stop her descent in midair, panting for breath as she dangled from the ropes. But just as Kimiko could use her speed defensively, she could use it to attack as well - something she was ready to demonstrate!

Right as Sheila was about to flip back over the top rope, Kimiko came charging into her from behind, knocking the two of them right out of the ring! Sheila let out a scream as she found herself plummeting toward the floor, and she waved her arms in a panic, but it was too late to save her. She hit the mat with a thud, driving the air out of her lungs; she began to slowly slump over onto her side, stunned. If there was any solace, it was that Kimiko would likely be dazed from the landing as well, which just might buy Sheila some time to recover - but for now, Sheila needed to collect herself.

"One!" the referee called. But even if the action had come to a lull, the fans still watched with rapt attention at how things could possibly escalate from here, now that the match had left the ring!

Kimiko intercepted and speared Sheila off the ropes and out of the ring, taking things to the outside, the woman's screams filling the entire trip down to the floor before Kimiko let out a grunt, having a better landing partially on top of the woman, still a bit stunned, resting her head on Sheila's bare side as the woman rolled over. "Come on... gotta keep moving" Kimiko thought to herself pushing off of Sheila and glancing around her, it was her first time being on the side of the ring and heard the referee counting.

Kimiko thought quickly unsure what she wanted to do instead reaching down, attempting to grab Sheila by her head and hair before trying to pull the woman back up. "Hope I didn't hurt you or anything" Kimiko would apologize while trying to push Sheila back inside the ring.
