Sachiko vs Madeleine

Sachiko noticed how Madeleine fell with that blow, the blood spilled, staining her a little but without leaving any obviousness, so while all the public waited for the fine, Sachiko would approach Madeleine, taking her by the shoulders and lifting her up to place her on her knees.

You wanted to see a real hunter, your emotions will lead you to the worst paths if you don't guide them, you must take care of them..... you won't be hunted, you were never someone for that..... you were just a fool

she would say so Sachiko would take some of the blood that Madeleine left in her puddle, putting some on her face, so she would finally give a push to bring it to the ground, leaving her foot on top of Madeleine and asking the question

Do you... give up?

Silent—No. Murmuring. Vision, sound, everything crept back into focus—as did a nose for the room. A question hung in the minds of this young audience...a question about the girl in white. The stone-faced girl. It was a question that appeared to Madeleine like a jewel hanging from a thin line. The Countess took a breath—a heaving, ragged sigh to stretch out the pain in her ribs and unfold her crushed lungs. Then she responded.

“I came in here...ragged from another match.” Madeleine hocked, spat. Bloody saliva cobwebbed on the mat.“I wonder who set that up.” A quaver entered Madeleine’s voice, a warble on the edge of tumbling. She got louder. “You keep accusing me. Saying you’ll hunt me, as if I’ve done anything wrong. I’ve done nothing to you, and all you do is disrespect, and...”

Madeleine let her eyes squeeze shut. A heaving breath—but no tears. No, the audience saw, the Countess would hold back the tears.

“...And you won’t even take your pin. You want to hear me grovel. Submit. Well." Jaw set, scarlet eyes flashing, the Countess shoved her opponent's boot. "I will never give up with a bully like you.”

Sachiko when waiting for some sign from her to give up, it seemed that Madeleine would have a moment to talk, if not she also seemed to want to blame her for this, but Sachiko didn't seem to care, she simply told her

You wanted to be bad, my eyes have your fingers engraved, you tried to hurt forbidden areas, and you can see me as a villain, a hero or as whatever you want, I don't care, I just do what I need to do to achieve my goal.....

so then Sachiko when she was taken away from Madeleine's body, she would throw a last kick in that girl's face, to say that Sachiko didn't feel something for her inside .... would be lying, of course there were emotions, but showing them would be a danger for her, after so much of keeping this internal mask, Sachiko for this point would only look to finish the fight, Madeleine had already understood what happened if you played with fire .... and right now she was on fire.

Madeleine listened with every inch of her body—not for Sachiko but for some signal from the audience, some note of affirmation. We hear you. but they were cold. No cheers—for one side or the other. Perhaps the comments regarding the maid outfit were not the most appropriate if she'd wanted to pivot to audience sympathy.

But the Countess did not get long to consider. A sledgehammer kick crushed the side of her head and she fell flat on the mat, motionless.

Sachiko was finally done, Madeleine probably wouldn't recover from that, this fight was over the moment that punch in the stomach happened.... Everything that had happened so far was just a silly desire to recover, Sachiko then said nothing, she would just sit on the canvas, thinking about what she would do next, while the referee would check on Madeleine, or finally put an end to this fight that had long since lost its meaning.

The Referee lifted Madeleine's arm. Let it drop. It hit the mat, bounced, loose like a doll's, and then lay still. The second and third attempts found a Countess emptied of life, ground down by a staffer who hated her, and finally given a leaden kind of peace under the crushing heel of Sachiko.
