A Quiet Debut: Alizeh Midori vs Marianne Von Edmund

Alizeh groaned softly as she held her stinging back following that surprise reversal Marianne had pulled on her. As she sat up Alizeh noted internally that she’d need to be more careful with her opponet who was clearly both stronger and smarter than the greenette had given her credit for. ”Guh!” Then just as Alizeh was making note to be careful of Marianne the girl was further proving her point as she felt herself pulled into the hold. Grunting and gasping Alizeh would close her hands into fists, than she would attempt to throw her arms backwards into the bluenette’s sides, trying to get her to loosen, or better yet break the hold altogether.

The match was going surprisingly well for Marianne. She could only grit her teeth to get Alizeh to struggle in the hold, and making sure Marianne had a lot more energy than her more agile opponent. Marianne thought she was going to get completely squashed by her more experienced opponent, but other than her head being in some slight pain from an earlier side headlock, she was arguably in the driver's seat. The sooner Alizeh went out, the sooner Marianne can walk out of the arena with her first LAW win, and not having to hurt her opponent that much. Marianne was internally praying for Alizeh to go out.

And then Marianne felt a sudden impact to the side of her hips. As she felt the initial shot of pain and grimaced, she looked over to see Alizeh using the back part of her fists to hit Marianne. Marianne could only feel her tight hold on Alizeh come loose, and looser, and looser with every single blow until the resulting pain became too much for the Bluenette, yelling a notable "Ouch" that the crowd could definitely hear,and she releasing Alizeh from the Chinook, clutching her sides pain.

Marianne knew she was open to an attack, but with the pain from her hips distracting, She had no way to defend herself.

Alizeh grunted from her position trapped by Marianne’s hold. It was a low effort but effective as Alizeh felt her breath drain fron her. Still simple problem meant a simle solution. As Alizeh threw her hand back, slamming it into her opponet’s hip she felt the hold loosen until finally... ‘freedom!’ Alizeh thought to herself as she leaned forward taking a deep breath. Looking over her dhoulder and seeing Marianne stunned Alizeh knew she had to capitalize. Moving closer to Marianne Alizeh would go to grab her arm. If successful Alizeh would try to turn and push down to force Marianne face first into the mat.

Marianne could feel that something was gonna come from Alizeh. Something very painful. While Marianne felt like she took a good amount of Alizeh's high energy, the kind you expect from a more agile wrestler compared to her more submission, technical based style of wrestling , Marianne could tell from the punches that Alizeh still definitely had a lot in her. Still clutching her hips from the escape by Alizeh, Marianne could feel 9ne of her arms being taken from her hip, being grabbed by her green-haired opponent. And then her face crashed fiercely into the mat, the impact of which could be felt throughout the arena. In a mix of sadness and pain, Marianne not only felt pain in her hips, but also held her face and head in pain as she was still open to more attacks from Alizeh. This is what she feared about being a wrestler.

Alizeh after successfully driving Marianne’s face into the mat kept the trapped limb tensed anove its owners body. Placing her other hand on Marianne’s hip Alizeh would smirk as she then used the leverage to lift herself up before falling down knee first into Marianne’s ribs. Marianne was a mot more skilled than Alzieh had initially thought. But judging from her reaction to those hip shots that Alizeh sent and the face plant, it seemed as if she didn’t take pain well. So Alizehwould home in with some strikes to attempt and wear the girl down.

This wasn't good for Marianne. Not only was there pain in both her hips and face, but Alizeh still had her arm, and who knows what Alizeh was going to try next. Marianne could only pray that during Alizeh's next few moves that there would be an opening for her to counter, or else she just might not be long for L.A.W.

Then Marianne felt Alizeh's hand on her hips, and then the crashing impact of a knee came down on her ribs. A large cry of pain was heard throughout, as Marianne had to hold her midsection, this Match slowly becoming one of the most painful experiences of her life . Next move, Alizeh did, she has to find someway to counter, because the pain was definitely becoming a bit much for her.

After dropping her knees down into Marianne’s ribs for another successful attack on the girl Alizeh knew she had a decisive advantage on the blunette. All she needed was a good way to further capitalize on this current position. Standing up and pulling on Marianne’s arm to haul her to her feet Alizeh would prepare her next move. Pulling down on Marianne’s arm and looping it between her legs Alizeh would rake a tight grasp before lifting her up and tossing herself back, attempting to land a pump handle suplex on the blue haired girl.

For Marianne, the next move could really have a chance of taken her out of the match. With Alizeh decisively in the driver's seat, Marianne knew she had to make a comeback. So while Alizeh was attempting to put Marianne in position for a pump handle suplex, Marianne would attempt to get her arm loose, and if she did, hit the open Alizeh with knee strikes to her gut.

When Alizeh tried to throw herself back for the suplex she blinked in surprise when one of the hands she held between Marianne’s legs was pulled away. Losing ber grip and momentum being thrown off Alizeh stumbled forward placing Marianne back onto the mat. Then before she could react a knee suddenly buried itself in her stomach making her gasp and groan in pain as she bent over gasping in pain from the sudden move leaving her stunned.

Marianne was surprised that her knee strike actually did damage and got her out of a nasty situation. She wasn't really a Striker, much rather would use grappling and submissions, but it was what she had to do to get out of a really bad situation and lose the match.

Now wanting to further her advantage, Marianne with a determined look on her face, would attempt to hook Alizeh's arm and throw her with a hip toss.
