While her opponent was distracted by the ref , Veronica would attack Lauren from behind as she was about to go for another attack when the referee got in her way. As she was about to scream for her to move when the referee whispered ''have to act like i am impartial'' as she then yelled ''okay back up miss Stark , and as for you''while looking at Peggy as this allowed the spoiled brat to get in close while the blond was down to stomp on her back. Which was not seen by the referee who said to Peggy ''one more outburst from you , and I be banning you from ringside for the remainder of this match''

"Oomph!" Lauren groaned as she stomp hit her back sending her flat to the canvas on her stomach. She groaned with writhed in pain as Veronica was now starting to take control of the matchup.

Meanwhile on the outside Peggy just shook her head and began to pace, rolling her eyes as the referee was clearly up to something. Peggy could see it, and the fans could see it with some even calling her a sellout. Peggy stood there with her hands on her hips raising an eyebrow as she watched the match unfolding now with Veronica having been gifted a chance to keep pounding away at the downed Lauren.

Veronica would just smirk as she had just stomped down on her opponent's back while the referee warned the redhead as she was glad she paid the woman off. Lauren groaned and began to push herself up to her feet as she heard the referee bothering her over things no referee had ever mentioned before. Shaking her head she looked at Veronica. Gritting her teeth Lauren would spring back at Veronica and lashed out trying to sent a hard toe kick to her abdomen to double her over! If that kick connected Lauren wanted to reach out to grab hold of Veronica to plant her head first to the mat with a DDT!

On the outside Peggy was also watching, very curious as to how long of a count this would be. Peggy had a feeling that something was up so she was closely watching out for how quickly the referee got in to position and counted.

After being driven into the canvas with an DDT Veronica was out of it as the referee watched as Lauren went for an cover. Now this allowed the ref to stall for time as she would walk towards the spoiled brat's shoulders , and after an few seconds she got on her knees as she would slowly raise her hand before hitting the canvas as she said ''one''as the crowd began to boo at how slow the ref was acting as Veronica tried to kick out before the referee was forced to count to one by pulling her leg down and raising her shoulder up.

Peggy shook her head as she stared at the referee from the outside shaking her head. Inside the ring Lauren just stared blankly at the referee and her jaw dropped. It was now completely obvious that the referee was not going to be remotely fair in this matchup.

Lauren got up and pulled Veronica up by the hair and held her up for a second as she got in her face to quietly growl some words to her. "I know you have that referee in your pocket somehow but I will still beat you!" Lauren said as she bent down trying to scoop Veronica up to slam her down to the mat as hard as she could! If she succeeded she would strut around the ring and flex her arms to try to fire up the crowd and try to get them on her side at least.

The ref had bin caught as it had bin too obvious that he was biased in this match , but what did it matter as she would still get paid regardless since all that mattered was that Veronica would win. Sure she may be facing an inquiry at work about her officiating , but she was confident she could escape without too much trouble as their was always an need for an crooked referee in an company like this . As it was known for example that Celeste's personal assistance was an ref who helped insure that the French woman got her way in certain matches.

So it was with this fact in mind that the ref would just smile as she heard Lauren say she knew that the referee was in the spoiled brat's pocket as Veronica yelled back ''so what if you know that. Lauren growled as she was struggling to keep pace with Veronica now. Her mobility was always limited and the attack stunned Lauren completely leaving her wide open for attack at the hands of her foe.

Outside the ring Peggy was screaming and pointing at Veronica. "Did you just see that?! the entire crowd saw it n' if you don't start calling the match correctly I will push to have the bosses review your officiating!" Peggy shouted from outside trying to do something to get the referee to do their job.
