The Princess and the Tiger: Katsumi Oshiro VS. Bengal

Bengal's glossy black hair streams out behind her as Katsumi whips her around like a rag doll. Her back smashes into the ring apron, and she grits her teeth as pain shoots through her spine. But she's taken hits like this before. The pain doesn't incapacitate her - more than anything, it just makes her angry. As she straightens to face her opponent once more, there's a fire burning in her amber eyes.

"No thanks," she quips. "You talk enough for both of us!" Bracing her hands on the ring apron, she leaps up and thrusts out both her legs simultaneously, aiming a double kick directly at Katsumi's chest!

A smug smirk plays on Katsumi's face when Bengal's back hits the apron, arm briefly raised to herald the roaring audience mere feet away from her. And then she's closing in with the other female, intent on working her against that edge and taking full advantage of the opening. Only Bengal seems to have a bit more resilience than she anticipated! A pair of boots kick out, thumping against Katsumi's studded chest and thrusting her back!

The punkette staggers until her back hits the guardrail, leaning back against it with a wince and one arm crossing her chest.

Bengal feels a jolt run through her body as her booted feet collide with Katsumi's chest. Landing back on the ground, she quickly assesses the situation. Her opponent is leaning against the guardrail, grimacing in pain. But is she truly hurt, or just playing possum again?

As usual, Bengal decides to take the risk. She quickly closes with Katsumi and hooks her leg, lifting her up and draping her over the guardrail face-down, like a sheet hung out to dry on a clothesline. She backs up a few steps, then takes a running start, aiming to drop-kick Katsumi in the head as she hangs over the metal railing! It'll be a devastating blow - if the Blaze Tiger is able to connect.

Katsumi... does not like getting kicked in the chest. Sure, yeah, one would be hard-pressed to find anyone who does, but Katsumi particularly doesn't enjoy it. Primarily for obvious reason, what with being a girl and all, and anything chest-oriented is going to be a bit more painful and less protected than a guy. Granted, her top does provide some protection, but not at the expense of flexibility. Those gold studs are pulling the work for her there.

Nevertheless. Kicked in the chest? That sudden compression? Very unpleasant.

She starts to collect herself as Bengal nears, only to find one leg hooked up. Her hands set quickly to her shoulders for balance, and she winds up hoisted and draped against the rail - only for her world to suddenly explode into pain as a pair of feet kick against her head. Katsumi slides from the railing to crumple to the matted floor in a daze on her side.

Bengal watches with grim satisfaction as Katsumi crumples to the floor, like a marionette cut loose from its strings. The crowd is roaring with excitement, but Katsumi herself is silent. For once in her life, the Punk Princess appears to be at a loss for words.

"Awww, what's wrong?" Bengal croons mockingly, as she pushes Katsumi onto her back with the heel of her tiger-striped boot. "Cat got your tongue?" She mounts her opponent, straddling her bare midsection, then begins to rain down punches and claw slashes upon Katsumi's head and chest! How will the Punk Princess protect herself from this barrage of strikes?

Katsumi's immediate response is a dazed groan, wanting to vocalize something but her brain not really functioning enough in the moment to form any zingers. Instead, she just has to tolerate being rolled over unceremoniously onto her back, silky hair fanning out behind her. Her eyes blink a few times to refocus through the bright overhead lights.

Soon, a shape blocks out the light, and a weight presses down into her tightly toned stomach. Her guard instantly raises, attempting to deflect and turtle up against the barrage - though a few still get through! Her lower legs squirm, boots planting against the railing to try to push her hips upwards and bridge her body; if she can manage to unbalance Bengal, it'd help!

Bengal continues to pummel Katsumi with strikes, but her opponent's constant squirming throws off her aim. Only a few of her blows land; the rest glance off Katsumi's guard with little impact. The Tiger is growing frustrated. She slams her own hips into Katsumi's abs, grinding her back down into the floor. Pausing her barrage of strikes, she seizes Katsumi's wrist and attempts to pry apart her guard. With her other hand, she makes a grab for the elegant black collar around the punkette's neck, pulling and twisting it, trying to cut off her opponent's air supply. It's a dirty trick, but thanks to the No Disqualification stipulation, there isn't much that the referee can do to stop her.

Katsumi continues attempting to disrupt the attack, jostling, squirming, bucking, keeping that defense up. Really, it might be why there's more a benefit to attempting a ground and pound inside the confines of a ring, rather than in a position where someone can find leverage with nearby objects. Still, when Bengal's hips slam down, Katsumi is paused with a grunt. One arm is seized, while Bengal grabs for the most ironically named piece of Katsumi's wardrobe.

Thankfully, chokers don't make for easy purchase, typically flush with the skin. But with enough rooting, some fingers can slip in there. And that sends Katsumi into more of a panic, unsure if this chick is trying to strangle her or just damage her cool getup! Regardless, the moment pressure begins building around her throat, her free hand raises to seize a fistful of Bengal's hair near the scalp. And with a sharp tug, she lifts her head to collide with Bengal's in a stiff headbutt and shove, hoping to finally throw her off!

Katsumi's surprise headbutt catches Bengal off-guard and sends her reeling back. She loses her grip on the choker as the Punk Princess shoves her roughly, throwing her to the floor. Her attempt to strangle her opponent has backfired; she should have known better than to leave her face exposed.

Rolling over onto her back, she reaches up and gingerly touches her nose. Luckily, nothing feels broken, but it still hurts like hell. Bengal shakes her head, clearing her mind. She doesn't have time to lie here, feeling sorry for herself - not when Katsumi is planning her next move. She kips up to her feet and turns to face her opponent once more.

The moment Bengal was dislodged from her waist, Katsumi rolls over in the opposite direction, perching on hands and knees with a couple hard coughs escaping her. A hand lifts to touch her throat, accompanied with a sidelong glare at the briefly-dazed Bengal. She watches her kip right up to her feet, and takes her lower position to advantage, rather than waiting for her opponent to capitalize on it.

Pushing out from her position, Katsumi rushes the girl to collide into her, attempting to direct Bengal's back squarely against the ring apron! And upon impact, Katsumi would draw back just a little only to rush her shoulder hard into Bengal's stomach again, attempting to dig in and grind away at the girl's upper abdominal muscles.
