Clarisse got up leisurely, still a hand over her sore reddened stomach and the other holding the ropes for support. Ashera sure managed to do a number on her abs, without which, her stomach would have definitely turned to mush. She was still trying to rile her up, goading her to do something rash and get into a verbal war of words. But, Clarisse wasn't to partake in such pleasantries and instead trained her eyes on Ashera's form, analysing her body language and movements.

The Heavyweight gave her a free invitation to work on her abs, but Clarisse wasn't keen on it, atleast at present. There would surely be an opportune time during this fight to indulge in such activities. Right now, the brawler raised her arms up again, pacing herself and closed the distance between them cautiously. Should her thoughts or focus get veered away from Ashera, the hothead heavyweight had the power and temperament to punish her!

Her strategy for now was simple. Play with her mind, wait for an opening and she planned to do that starting off with a couple of Left Jabs to her face to conceal a Right Hook against her stomach and a Calf Kick to destabilize Ashera's footwork, which would leave her open for Clarisse to snake behind her and slam her behind in an arc for a German Suplex!

Being peppered with blows, and that too against the face seemed to be getting Ashera all worked up and pissed off. The German Suplex certainly did its job, leaving the heavyweight to writhe in pain, though she was doing a decent job in masking it, trying to appear unfazed. Clarisse heard Ashera's threats of sending her to the intensive care should she target her face again, but she didn't pay much heed to it. Too many threats and comeuppances from years gone by had made her almost indifferent to such phrases.

Expecting Ashera to retaliate, Clarisse got her guard up, anticipating an attack and the hothead did go for a move, but was too fast for the brawler to tweak her approach to counter it, thus finding herself trapped in a Bearhug! Ashera was certainly strong, her biceps muscular and packing a lot of power, which were looking to squeeze all air out of the trapped Brawler's lungs!

"Ngh..MMhh..' Sharp exhales trailed off into soft grunts as Clarisse tried to endure the hold and get out off it. Her feet were lifted off the mat owing to Ashera's taller height and she could only kick her legs weakly in response.
