Fight Long overdue: Huan Lei Brightspring vs Zira Cabalero

Truth be told this battle was everything Zira had thought and hoped it would be, the two women going all out against each other right from the start, battering each other with strikes, wearing each other down with submissions, and pushing the limit of what the other can do. Zira was freaking here for it. Busting out one of her more creative offensive maneuvers she would managed to score a direct kick to Huan's head, but in following up with her second kick she would whiff, a direct result of her opponent pulling out a creative move of her own, landing a direct scorpion kick to her face!

"Ugh!" Zira grunted, stunned by the move before being grabbed by the side of the head and forced backwards, her spine making contact with the knee of Huan sending a shock of pain through her body. "Ngh!" Wincing in pain and sucking in air through her teeth before clenching her fists and throwing up one of her legs, trying to have her knee score directly against the back of Huan's skull to force her away!

Even in such a bad position, Zira had plenty of strength to deliver a powerful attack and as it connected not only did it force Huan away but also made her fall on her side. Out of sheer instinct, she curled her legs, then spotting the opportunity extended them to kick at the top of her opponent's skull. That hat two uses, hurting Zira of course, but more importantly, pushing towards the ropes.

Now that she was near them Huan would use them to pull herself up, smiling and shaking her head. "You never skip leg days do you?" She asked jokingly, referring to the powerful kicks from before. Then she made a gesture to her foe to come at her. So far, this fight was even better then she expected.

Despite the pain surging through her back Zira wasn't one to give up, so despite the backbreaker she would fire her leg back to knee her opponent in the back of the head to force her back! Similar to Zira however, Huan wasn't one to give in either. Because despite the kick from Zira that knocked the woman to her side, she still had it in her to send a revenge kick Zira's way!

"Ugh!" Zira yelled, forced to roll away until she got on her knees, holding her jaw as she got back up from the mat, looking at Huan and smirking seeing her doing the same. "Course not, besides I can say the same to you." Zira shot back to the woman with a wink as she put her fists up and got close to her opponent, sending in a right jab at the woman's face!

Seeing a punch coming her way, Huan turned her body and stepped to the left to avoid it turning her back foot and then raising her knee to impact with Zira's abs. Then she would skip stepping back and if all worked well she would now have a good angle for her opponent's back to which she would send a quick roundhouse kick. This was in the hope of further staggering the woman and opening her for another kick, this time aimed at the back of her head in hopes of making a big impact by targeting such a sensitive spot.

Entering a striking battle against Huan was risky, even if it was an area that Zira was generally better in. Largely because Huan was so clever and intelligent in her use of strikes versus the more blunt Zira. Case in point after whiffing a punch Zira would wince as she was paid back with a knee and then a kick to the back. "Ugh!" Groaning in pain as she stumbled forward Zira knew her next move would be vital! 'If it were me..' She thought to herself before ducking low and turning around to hopefully narrowly avoiding a kick to the back of skull!

If successful than Zira would try and rise up before Huan could pull her leg back, an arm coming to wrap around Huan's leg and keep it over her shoulder before Zira's other arm went out, trying to grab Huan by the strap of her outfit! "Haghhhh!" And with a roar of effort Zira would try and lift Huan off her feet before throwing forward to try and slam the woman down into the mat!

Huan's last kick flew just inches from the target, not the most unexpected thing given who she was feeling with. She thought she would just retract the leg and step back... here she was wrong as much to her surprise her leg not only got grabbed but her other one left the mat as well. "FucGHA!" Her curse was interrupted by a pained yell when her back met the ground after that vicious slam. Her hands were splayed out to both sides before being pulled to her head, she groaned and arched her back rolling just slightly in pain. At least for the moment, it did not seem like she was getting up

Despite eating some vicious kicks from Huan the younger fighter was far from done, nor would she be outplayed so easily. Managing to catch her foe's leg from that last kick attempt Zira would manage to lift her foe up, slamming her on the mat for a major impact that seemed to leave Huan stunned! Smirking from this while still holding Huan's leg Zira would end down and grab the other, pulling both up while smirking down at Huan. "Sorry but being where I'm from you know I gotta use this." Zira would say, apologizing in advance as she aimed to turn Huan over and cross her legs over each other before sitting back, looking to lock in a Texas Cloverleaf submission hold!

Huan wasn't quite in there when Zira grabbed her legs and got them in position, then a quick turn and she sobered right up as a seeing hot pain shot through her back, she choked back a scream, grunting and growling as she took a moment to realise her exact position, all this time the hold was sinking deeper and deeper. It was just a pain submission and she could manage pain but damn did that hurt. "Very fucking funny, just you wait." She managed to get out though her tone did sound more amused than angry. Still, she would grit her teeth, grab one of the other woman's legs and pull while at the same time turning so that her legs would untangle and she would end up on her back.

If all that worked as planned she would try to get up, still holding Zira's leg and sweep the other to get her on her back before delivering a stomp to keep her there for the moment. Her other hand would then reach for the other leg as she stepped over ZIra's back, stuffing both of the legs under her armpits in a sort of reversed Boston crab. Then she would continue to bend forward to try and get her hands to meet under the woman's chin before standing back up.

Zira would smirk confidently after managing to lock Huan into the Cloverleaf, pulling and bending the woman's legs to do as much damage as possible to those dangerous limbs as possible. "Oh trust me I am!" Zira shot back to Huan's playful rebuttal, not affected too much and even replying back in a very similar tone, not realizing Huan's shifting until it was too late and the woman managed to turn over and untangle her legs from Zira's grip! "Wha?" Zira asked in surprise before getting taken off her feet by Huan.

'Damn..' Zira thought to herself, about to get up before receiving a stomp to the chest and getting turned over herself! "Ngh.. damn." Zira said softly before her limbs started getting tangled up, her eyes widening in panic just as Huan's hands grabbed her chin and she was pulled up, off the mat in a folded up shape! "GAHHHH!" Zira yelled in pain before gritting her teeth, knowing that Huan wouldn't be able to hold her weight like this for long and would eventually be forced to release the hold, but for now enduring was all that she could do!
