Chiaki vs Azura: Lightweight Bikini Battle

"That makes sense," Chiaki said in response to Azura's explanation as to why the songstress was able to defend against the streamer's attack. "My thinking was that you'd be focused on defending your body and striking with your legs, that your head wouldn't be able to shift to defending your legs in time. But when you put it like that, your legs would've been at least ready for action either way."

But now with Azura approaching, the time for analysis was over. It was once more time to fight. The bluenette struck out with her knee, and Chiaki lowered one arm to deflect it. But then Azura revealed the true intent of her attack, stopping her leg in midair to redirect it into a downwards kick at the gamer girl's knee. But her reflexes quick, Chiaki lifted and braced her leg in time to take the attack almost painlessly off of her calf.

It was actually something Chiaki had picked up from video games. Street Fighter characters like Sagat and Adon who lifted their front leg in their block animations. She had learned that this was because the real damage from downward kicks to the leg, what Azura had just done, mainly came from the opponent's leg pushing your leg into the ungiving ground. And suspending your leg in the air mitigated that. But unlike a video game character, who stood statuesque as blows did meager chip damage best, Chiaki was subject to physics. From getting hit while on one leg, Chiaki stumbled back a couple of steps before regaining her footing. If Azura wanted to, she could press and force Chiaki to try to defend against it once more.

For a split-second Azura's eyes narrowed as she approached. Her feint wasn't completely seen through, but Chiaki's reaction speed was impressive. Her leg was up in almost a Muay Thai fashion and ready to take the brunt of Azura's kick. Again, Azura found herself impressed.

But good reflexes didn't make up for a weak body.

Azura's kick slammed hard into Chiaki's leg, an echoing slap sounding out and her opponent staggering back unsteady. A good theory, but... Azura wasted not time, setting her front leg down and quickly pivoting on her front heel as she swung out her back leg in a smooth, singular motion for a sharp roundhouse right for Chiaki's face and jaw while she staggered.

The hit that Chiaki took when Azura's kick struck her leg sounded a lot worse than it actually was. Though when Chiaki heard the sound of impact, she almost wondered if she should be feeling more pain. Chiaki's backwards stagger certainly didn't look good either, but that was a balance issue more than anything else that the bluenette's attack had done.

But being off balance still was not a good thing for Chiaki, especially when she had to defend once more against Azura's attacks. Due to the soft, sandy terrain, the gamer girl couldn't regain solid footing before Azura's attack was on it's way. So Chiaki was unable to do anything more than try to block again. Chiaki got her arms up between Azura's heel and her face, but the kick was strong. With Chiaki already off balance, the blow knocked her down into the sand, even though the kick had failed to strike her head.

"Tch," The moment Azura shifted her heel she could feel the sand starting to kill some of her momentum. Her form was as perfect as she could manage it, but the torque wasn't there. The impact her kick gave was still decent, it still got Chiaki to the ground thanks to the overall inbalance of her first kick, but the weight and speed, the damage it was suppose to cause... it wasn't as present as much as the Songstress wanted it to be.

Still, she got Chiaki knocked down despite her blocking it, and with her on the ground Azura could make her next move. Given the sand more strikes are useless. Her eyes looked over Chiaki's figure, her face expressionless. So... Azura moved fast, hands reaching out to grab Chiaki by the leg and try hooking the girl's ankle under her arm and give it a hard twist for a sharp ankle lock.

As Chiaki tumbled to the ground, she knew that it was only natural that Azura would follow up on her advantage. But the songstress wasn't right on the gamer girl. Azura decided to take her attack slowly, allowing the two to have a momentary staredown. Chiaki looking up at Azura, neither woman's face telling the other what they were thinking in the moment.

But as quickly as their eyes locked had their connection been broken off as Azura went in for her offensive. She was able to grab Chiaki by her leg, as the terrain turned the pinkette's attempt to crawl away into sandy scuffling that didn't go far enough to work. Thus Chiaki was trapped into an ankle lock. "Ah!" Chiaki yelped at the sharp jolt up her leg. In response, she would try to use her free leg to kick backward and strike Azura repeatedly until she let go.

With the lock in place and Chiaki at an odd angle, Azura put all her focus on twisting Chiaki's foot against her joint, making the hold as painful as she could manage. The quick yelp alone proved the hold's effectiveness, and the Songstress was set to capitalize on it as she made the gamer's life a painful nightmare.

"Nh-!"

But in the middle of her submission Azura felt a kick right at her leg. Her knee buckled a bit in response, but soon another came.

And another.

And another.

"Gh!" Like a cornered animal Chiaki kicked at Azura's leg, desperate for freedom. Each kick started hit their mark as the pain mounted. How annoying... And the Songstress only bit her lip and glared, digging her heels into the sand and holding her ground. "Unless." Azura hissed, yanking along Chiaki's ankle further. A warning to cease her actions. "Give up," She stated flatly. "I'll grant you mercy this one time if you do."

Chiaki felt her kicks connect, one after the other. She felt Azura weakening, but the gamer girl came short of actually dislodging the songstress. Eventually, Azura reasserted her hold on Chiaki's ankle and ordered her submission. Chiaki winced, but she knew that the bluenette wouldn't be able to hold her much longer if she just kept fighting. Judging by her threat, Azura knew this too.

Azura said that Chiaki would only be given mercy if she gave up now. It wasn't just challenging Chiaki on whether or not she thought she could escape, she was challenging the streamer on whether or not she believed that she would win. Because if Chiaki refused to submit and was unable to defeat Azura, then the pinkette would be made to suffer for her misjudgment.

But Chiaki wasn't scared off. "I wouldn't be much of a wrestler if all it took to beat me was one ankle lock, now would I?" Chiaki said, formally refusing Azura's offer. "Probably not the best gamble on myself I've ever made honestly, but there's still I chance that I win. But if I just give up easy, then I know for sure that I'd regret it."

For a moment there was a pause, both with the crowd and Azura as she awaited an answer. Part of her was expecting an immediate surrender like her last opponent. Despite the lack of screams or groans from her opponent an ankle lock was far from a pleasant experience. For most wrestlers, and especially most beginners this was something only a surrender or a rope break would end.

But... that surrender never came.

Azura looked Chiaki in the eyes as she spoke, her expression unchanging from it's mild frown, but a simple cant of her head and sharpened gaze gave enough of a response. Even when cornered and doomed Chiaki wasn't going to surrender. She still had enough pride to try fighting through the pain and go for the small chance at victory. "Very well." She reminded silent for a moment, giving a moment to respect Chiaki's tenacity. It was the least she could give her.

Because now, Azura would crush it.

"Then I'll take this match to its earnest conclusion and have you beg for what I offered you." With that, Azura dropped to her knees, Chiaki's leg still in her hand and she changed tactics. Easing up on the ankle lock, the Songstress started to push one of her legs onto Chiaki's back while moving to wrap Chiaki's captured leg around her back for a harsh a brutal stretch muffler to force those screams out.

"Maybe," said Chiaki once Azura fully spelled out her intentions for this match from this point on. Though if there was one thing that confused Chiaki, it was why Azura wanted to get this match over with so quickly, when in her previous match, the songstress had gone out of her way to drag out the match by repeatedly refusing submissions. It seemed strange.

But Chiaki had no time to ponder that in her current position, as she was in a hold already, with Azura looking to make another move. The bluenette made a move on Chiaki's back, coming closer as she did so. The gamer girl would respond with another kick with her free leg before Azura could get the position she wanted. And this time, instead of pulling her leg back, Chiaki would keep her leg out and start pushing Azura away with it after connecting. While also trying to pull her trapped leg towards herself to escape.

Assuming Chiaki was able to escape, if the songstress was able to keep standing afterwards, the pinkette would then shoot both her legs back out to ensure that she was knocked onto her back. Then Chiaki would spring onto all fours and turn around to face Azura. Then quick as she could, Chiaki would try to throw herself on top of the bluenette to go for a breast smother. And if successful, she would then try to follow up by grabbing Azura's wrists to control them and wrap her legs up with a grapevine. "In case you're wondering," said Chiaki. "If you tap, or just pass out, I'll still give you mercy."

"Nh-" Azura tried to set up the stretch muffler, but Chiaki was still in fighting shape and did all she could to prevent against it. She pushed her leg hard against Azura's side, forcing her to wince and bend, slowly her movements and causing to loosen her grip on Chiaki's ankle. She to bit down on her her lower lip in annoyance, feeling the tension of Chiaki's leg start to slack in her fading grip. Bitterly clinging to a loosing hold was pointless, so she released her without a second thought.

The moment Chiaki was free she quickly pounced, springing to life and lunging forward straight for Azura. Fast-!

"Wau-!" The Songstress soon found herself flat on her back and snapped by the legs and wrist, forcing into a humiliating and suffocating grapevine as Chiaki started to smother the air out of her. "!!!" And Azura only huffed and fumed muffled breaths, quickly forcing her instincts to calm and focusing on conserving oxygen. All she could manage was a slight glare at Chiaki's words, as if hearing a bitter sarcasm behind them with her inability to either speak or tap. Uncouth little- She didn't give a response, only trying to move her hips side to side in hopes try force Chiaki off.
