Now Sunny was flattened out on the mat, but Yuki too lay by her side as she fell to the ground off the dropkick, her ribs moving in and out with her labored breaths as she tried to collect herself. Her whole body felt stiff and heavy. Sunny had really forced her to fight at the limits of her strength, and now her body was taking the toll of that. The brunette had to push herself off the mat with the palms of her hands just to keep herself stable enough to look around. But when she did, she saw that Sunny was out flat. And at this point, Yuki knew it was now or never. She had to end this match here, before she passed out.
With the last ounce of strength remaining, Yuki threw herself down on top of Sunny, her body crashing down on top of hers with a thud. As heavy as she felt, she didn't want to move, but this was exactly where she was content to remain. There she would reach back to hook Sunny's leg, going for the pin as the ref ran over to count it! "One!"
Yuki Kazikura vs. Sunny K [D]
Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Sunny K [D]
Sunny laid on the mat paralyzed, her body not willing to move as it felt as if every muscle in her was under severe tension. Even catching her breath was a struggle, as the blonde continued to silently gasp for air while plastered on the canvas.
Just then, she felt Yuki plomp right on top of her like a large sandbag. She knew it was over now, and that there was no way she was going to find the strength to lift the Japanese wrestler off of her even though it seemed like there wasn't much pressure being added to the pin other than sheer bodyweight. She could hear the ref already hit the mat and count one, the match finally ticking away.
"Two!"
Sunny couldn't do anything but weakly try to lift herself and Yuki up, but it was useless at this point. The ref's arm had raised up to slap the canvas for a third time, as it was apparent that Sunny was going to stay trapped underneath for the count

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Sunny K [D]
Yuki was tired. She could feel that. Her whole body was heavy, and she was panting for breath. Sunny had proven to easily be on her level in skill, and she had been forced to push herself to the absolute limits just to keep up. It had been a grueling experience, for sure. But Yuki was glad for it all the same. She couldn't help but be impressed with Sunny's ability, and she had forced her to keep her skills sharp. She could already tell this girl was going to go far.
But right now, she had a pin to secure. The second count was called, and now the ref had a hand raised. Yuki wasn't as tense as most wrestlers would be in such a moment. Her face showed the redness of exhaustion, her hair plastered by sweat to her forehead. She was just concerned with keeping her position as long as she could. And with both of them in the state they were in, Yuki thought that was an inevitability.
And she was right.
"THREE!" The referee's hand fell to the canvas, and with it, the bell rang to signal the match's conclusion. Yuki was content with the results, but she was in no state to celebrate right now. With a groan, she slowly rolled her body off of her position atop Sunny, laying on her back and staring up on the lights. Her hands moved up to rest on her chest as her breaths slowly returned to normal. "Good...match..." she said between gasps.

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Sunny K [D]
A wave of both disappointment over the outcome and relief that the match was over rushed through Sunny, who was beginning to find her breath again but still couldn't find the energy to get back up. As she lay face down on the mat and her pain continued to slowly dull, Sunny began to notice how sticky she was from sweating as her clothes stuck to her skin. What a workout; that took everything out of me! she thought to herself as she mustered the effort to flip herself onto her back.
She looked across the mat and saw Yuki laying there as well, saying something to her but she couldn't make out what it was from the crowd noise. Her thoughts still racing from her first match concluding, Sunny slowly sat right back up. It wasn't the result she wanted, but she was still happy to be in the ring, even if she didn't have the energy right now to express it.

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Sunny K [D]
Yuki was slow to get up. It seemed like it would take an eternity to get the feeling back in her legs enough to rise, let alone to walk. In her exhaustion, time seemed as though it was passing at a snail's pace. Eventually, she worked up the motivation to roll herself over onto her stomach, upon which she began to pick herself up to her hands and knees.
Then, though, she ended up on her feet nonetheless, as the ref grabbed her by the arm and yanked her back up as she hoisted her hand in victory! Yuki let out a yelp out of instinct, looking down at her legs wobbling beneath her without fully regaining their strength. If it wasn't for the referee holding her arm up, she would probably have collapsed right here. But Yuki wouldn't let that worry her too much. She reminded herself that this was her time for celebration, having emerged the winner of the match!
"And here is your winner, by pinfall, YUKI KAZIKURA!"
She looked out at the crowd with a smile, but it was only a slight one. She wasn't one to break her composure in many situations to begin with, but right now, she was concerned for her opponent. She had really tested her limits and given her a match to remember, but right now Yuki was concerned how she was going to leave the ring. While the crowd was cheering her, she looked down at the blonde, her words to her drowned out among the cheers. "Hey, are you all right?"

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Sunny K [D]
Sunny slowly gathered herself to her feet, relieved to be able to take her time in getting back up, her body still stiff and decorated with a handful of fresh bruises. She saw Yuki mouth something to her with a concern look on her face, with which Sunny smiled back and responded "I'm fine"
The blonde wasn't quite sure what she was supposed to do next, so she began walking towards Yuki to offer a post-match handshake. She had fun out there, bruises and all, and wanted to thank her opponent for showing her a good time.

Re: Yuki Kazikura vs. Sunny K [D]
The ref at last let go of Yuki's arm, and the girl took a few staggering steps forward. Her legs were stiff, and she seemed disoriented for the first few steps, not fully finding the solid ground under her. "W-Whoah..." she muttered to herself, having to steady her balance. She was definitely going to need to sit down and rest her legs a while when she could get the time to.
Still, Sunny was able to get to her feet all the same, and despite her loss, she was still being a good sport about it. The raven-haired girl nodded with a relaxed smile as she felt the tension melt away from her. Even now, when she had stretched her body to the limit, Yuki could feel good. She had won. And her opponent didn't have any hard feelings, offering her a handshake in return. Yuki was happy to return it before looking back up at her opponent with a grin. Based on the fight Sunny had given her, she was already sure she'd go places.
"Good luck out there, okay?" she said. "I believe in you." That being said, Yuki turned and hobbled off towards the exit for a much-needed rest.
