Monaka vs. Mika Matsuda - Brawlin' Cuties

Monaka was on the mat, too drained to even get up. With Mika on top of her, she couldn't do anything to stop the rookie from claiming her win. At this point, there was only a look of resignation on Monaka's face as she was pinned by her opponent, and she could hear the sound the referee made as she counted for the pin.

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

And with that, the match was over. The referee immediately called for the bell, ending the match with Mika Matsuda's victory. Monaka's eyes were closed as she was laid out on the mat, breathing shallowly. She made no effort to get back up at this point as this match ended with another one of her losses.

Mika heard the three count, and was shocked for a moment. Was it... was it really over? Did she win her first match here? The realization started to fill her with excitement. Joy. She won! She won her first fight here! She almost started to celebrate, until she looked down at Monaka.

She knew there always had to be a loser, but even so, she couldn't help but feel sympathy for Monaka. She looks down at her, and puts on a kind smile. "Thank you, Monaka-chan. You've taught me a lot with this.I hope you don't feel... too bad towards me." She says as she sits up and gets off her.

Monaka closed her eyes, feeling exhausted from the fight with Mika. But then, she heard Mika speaking to her, and she reopened her eyes. "Huh?" She didn't expect that from her. She had been pretty mean to her throughout the match, and yet Mika still tried to be cordial with her. Feeling awkward, Monaka would push herself back up into a seated position.

"Uh, s-sure... whatever..." Monaka said, looking away, trying her best to maintain her devil-may-care attitude, with little success. "N-not that I really care..." she said before trying to get back up after Mika got herself off of her. She prepared herself to leave so that she could get herself some rest. After suffering another loss, she needed such comfort.

Mika shakily starts to get up to her feet as well, and nods to Monaka with a small smile, before she turns towards the ropes, and starts to walk to them, climbing out of the ring, and waves weakly to a few cheering fans while she heads back up the ramp.
