Jaeger Sisters & Audrey Hunter vs. Marzia Servelli, Astrid Ostberg & Michiko Shimizu - Six Tag Mayhem

Reeling from the suplex, Audrey rolled herself to her side, trying to recover from the suplex that Astrid had used on her. She grunted, hoping to get herself back into a fighting condition, but it seemed that the suplex brought quite a profound effect on the opposing team, as evidenced by the sounds of cheering from both Marzia and Michiko from the sidelines. And as Audrey struggled to get back up, Astrid was already upon her, and before she could rise up, the Norwegian pulled her up before throwing her over with a German suplex!

"GAHHH!!!!"

Her body impacted against the canvas, pain spreading all over her being. The crowd cheered upon seeing the display of strength from Astrid while both Bethany and Cynthia called out for their mother, telling her to keep fighting. Still, the German suplex had taken most of her strength, leaving her vulnerable before the Norwegian.

With her body aching from the exertion she was putting herself through, Astrid had to push herself to her limits to swing Audrey back over her shoulders and drive the blue-haired veteran's head into the mat. It proved to work well enough, however, as a crack rang out, accompanied by a cry of pain from Audrey, the suplex leaving her stunned. When the Norwegian let go of her opponent, she was left sprawling out on the canvas, wide open to attack - a position that Astrid was, of course, keen to take advantage of.

She heard the cheers coming from both sides of the ring, from her own teammates and from the two sisters, but Astrid wasn't going to worry about anything but what was in front of her here and now in the ring. She had Audrey where she wanted her - and she was going to take advantage of that fact. "Hah-!" Astrid cried out as she stood over her downed opponent, throwing herself down over her with her elbow extended to perform a drop straight into her foe's stomach. If it hit, she hoped it would wind Audrey enough for her to go for a pin attempt - she didn't know how much she had left in her.

The German suplex had taken quite a lot out of Audrey, and after Astrid released her, she ended up on the mat, laid out and wheezing in pain. She was struggling to regain her strength, but the much younger woman wasn't going to stop herself anytime soon as she prepared herself to land another attack. This time, the Norwegian stood over her before throwing herself down, extending her elbow as she went to drive her elbow into her gut, hitting Audrey with an elbow drop!

"POUGHH!!!"

Audrey's eyes widened from taking the massive blow from Astrid, her limbs were lifted before flopping back down onto the canvas. She ended up gasping and wheezing for air like a beached fish, breathless and weakened. This would be the perfect opportunity for the Norwegian to seize her win over Audrey and her team.

Astrid had Audrey on her back now - and the time to strike was ripe. Her shoulders raised and lowered with labored breaths as she took one moment to wipe the sweat from her brow, her face red from the exertion she had fought through to keep on top of this match. But at last she had her window to get a leg up on her adversary, the same one who had proven to be such a thorn in her side this whole time, and she would take it, a thump going out through the ring from the impact of her elbow against Audrey's stomach. Not wasting a moment, her next move would be to try and roll up Audrey, trying to win things for her team.

"One!"

This was it, thought Marzia and Michiko as they watched from their corner. The match had been a long and grueling one, full of twists, turns, and reversals of fortune. There were times where it looked like they would be the sure winners, and others where it seemed their luck had run out. But now, their teammate had their most feared opponent down, and Audrey wasn't getting up!

"Two!"

With how much trouble the Hunters had been for them in this match, as the count reached two, Marzia and Michiko were almost positive that the two sisters were going to get in the way once again. This time, though, they would be ready - they wouldn't let them get in the way when victory seemed almost within their grasp. They swung in under the ropes, staring their opponents down and prepared to deal with them if they made any move - but before that could happen, the bell sounded!

Both Bethany and Cynthia were stunned as they saw their mother being taken down like that by Astrid, and when the Norwegian rolled their mother for the pin, they were still too stunned to even do anything. When they broke out of their stupor after hearing the referee counting for the pin, they frantically tried to enter, but it was already too late as the referee managed to count up to three, ending the match with the victory for the opposing team.

And with that, the Hunters were defeated. Both sisters were wide-eyed as they saw their mother unable to do anything as she was pinned. The bell was sounded, signifying the end of the match. Still unable to process what was happening here, both of them entered the ring and slowly approached their mother.

"...We lost?" Bethany was the one to speak out. Cynthia sighed as she nodded reluctantly. It was their loss, and there was nothing they could do about it.

With the sound of the bell, Astrid would see that her series of throws had been just what she needed in order to wear Audrey down long enough to score the pin - so much so, in fact, that not even her own daughters could anticipate such an upset; Bethany and Cynthia could only watch in shocked silence from the sidelines. Even if Marzia and Michiko had been prepared for them to retaliate, they didn't, seeming just as surprised from Astrid's come from behind victory as they were.

The astonishment was quick to wear off for Astrid, though - as she was exhilarated by coming through with a victory when all seemed lost. Pumping an arm in the air, the Norwegian spurred on a cheer as her teammates ran over to join her at her side.

"That was awesome!" Michiko said, as she went to slap Astrid on the hand.

"Yeah...I was a little worried," added Marzia with a nod, "but you pulled through at the end."

As she exchanged congratulations with her teammates, Astrid looked over, taking note of how the opposing team was responding to their victory. It seemed as though the Hunter sisters were less than pleased about losing - but to Astrid, no hard feelings were meant, and she would be quick to assure them of that. "Hey, now," she said, "you fought well. You really gave us a run for our money more than once back there! You should be proud for that, yeah?"

And with that, the match ended with their loss, and the other team's victory. Audrey sighed as she then put herself into a seated position, feeling disappointed over her loss, but that was what happened. Her daughters, Bethany and Cynthia, rushed to her side and asked whether she was alright or not. Audrey just smiled and pulled both girls into a hug, and both of them could barely hold back their tears.

"Well, I guess this can be a good lesson for us, then..." Audrey said as she would get back up onto her feet, acknowledging Astrid's words. Smiling at the Norwegian who pinned her earlier, she nodded to her. "Congratulation. That was a good match..." she said. Both of her daughters didn't say anything as they remained by her sides. "Hope we can face each other again..." Audrey then held out her hand, offering Astrid a handshake.

Seeing their mother being graceful over their loss, both Bethany and Cynthia looked at each other before they stepped forward, offering handshakes to both Michiko and Marzia respectively. Despite their loss, it was undeniable that it was an exhilarating match, and they would like to show their appreciation to the other team.

As she watched Audrey's daughters come to her side, distraught at their loss, for a moment the three women felt a pang of guilt go over them. Marzia knew all too well how it felt to lose, and Michiko couldn't help but feel like she had gone too far. Even Astrid felt bad for them - but she reminded herself that she couldn't hold back for anyone, and she owed it to her family's legacy to be the best she could be at all times, no matter what.

Her concerns were relieved, however, when she was Audrey wasn't hurt by the experience at all, meeting even defeat with a smile. As Audrey got to her feet, Astrid came forward to meet her, happily returning her offer of a handshake and giving her a nod. "A good match indeed," Astrid said. "You really pushed us to our limits and kept us on our toes. For a while, I thought that we wouldn't win this - especially when you were in the ring! But I can't help but admire your skill, not to mention your honor."

So too would Michiko and Marzia take their places by Astrid's side to shake hands with the Jaeger Sisters. "You really did a number on us there," Michiko said.

"Y-Yeah, uh...sorry about all that," Marzia added shyly.

When such proceedings were concluded, Astrid looked back over at her teammates, then up at the opposing team. "I'll await the day we can meet again. Until then...I think we've all earned a rest, yeah?"

The Hunters shook hands with the opposing team, and while this loss might sting quite a bit, they decided to consider this a lesson for them so that they could grow stronger in the future. And after that, they made their exit, and the crowd cheered and chanted for them as they headed back to backstage.
