Today was a special day for Ash; today she finally got a match type she liked and one she dominated by a wide margin: boxing. While wrestling fans aren’t usually very receptive to professional boxing, LAW has a fan base large enough to afford the luxury of staging these kinds of matches and still make them profitable. The Specter of Vengeance wanted to participate in one of these to prove just how good she was and to show once again how dominant she is. Ash was already completely ready, and when she got the signal to go out, she walked out onto the ramp to make her entrance.

This time she couldn’t do her usual terrifying entrance because she was saving money for her FFL entrance fee. But she was dressed for the occasion, wearing a gray boxing outfit with black stripes that ended in lilac straps, and two black gloves with purple trim; the words “Gray Ghost” were written in gold on the knuckles in homage to her father, who used that nickname and introduced her to the world of boxing. As for her hair, it was all tied back like the women in the UFC so she wouldn’t have any trouble during the fight, except for a strand of hair that covered one of her eyes to give her that signature look.

Waiting for her in her corner were Sari and Casval, her faction mates, who this time would serve as support between rounds and throw in the towel if things got out of hand, but the fighter knew that wouldn’t happen because she was determined to demolish her opponent as soon as she stepped into the ring and put on the best offensive performance possible. She leaned against her corner and prepared to wait for the poor, unsuspecting woman she was about to face.

Usagi was mainly brought into LAW to just be a coach for those that wanted to be able to be a better striker and brawler, but occasionally, they would ask her to bring her boxing skills out to test out various fighters. This wasn’t a professionally sanctioned bout with a commission so whether Usagi won or loss wouldn’t count against her. Her record would be fine, but her pride to be a better boxer would be tainted with a horrible loss. She had a reputation of being beaten around the bush and knocked out more times than she liked. Usagi wanted to win here and satisfy her competitive spirit. She donned a royal blue boxing robe and her corner team laced up her gloves as she was led out for her match.

Usagi’s main boxing theme played as her team led her into a smaller arena that LAW books their boxing matches in. She pounded her gloves together and soon made it to ringside walking up the stairs to the ropes. Getting a good look at her opponent, she was modestly creepy, but Usagi thinks she could handle it. She heads inside and sits down on her stool as she untied her boxing sash and her team took robe away.

There she was, the rabbit-themed woman who was going to be his opponent, approaching the ring in her blue robe. You could tell she was lighter on her feet and shorter than Ash, which he found interesting, as she might be an agile and fast opponent but with defenses as flimsy as paper, a perfect combination to be countered by the Spirit of Retribution.

“Look, this is your first boxing-style match in LAW. If you win, it could be a huge boost for us and for you,” Casval would say. “And please, don’t take this lightly,” Sari continued. Her two friends were talking to her, but Ash didn’t care about their words; all she cared about was fighting in her own style today, and no one was going to stop her, especially against an opponent she’d heard was a sore loser and a spoiled girl. She was going to finally enjoy teaching that phony “good gal” a lesson.

When it was time for the face-off between the two before the match, they both got up from their seats and headed to the center of the ring. There, Ash would perform the typical glove salute with more force than expected, and then she’d say, “I must break you,” in a terrifying way and with her grave, deep voice to intimidate her before returning to her corner and waiting for the bell to ring.
