Match Type: Standard. Victory Conditions: Pinfall, Submission or Knockout.
Wherever Akino's embittered mindset was, it absolutely was not concentrating on the moment currently unfolding as she continued lacing up her black combat boots within the backstage locker-room area. Sitting on a lone bench with grumbled expletives being emphasized with each tightened yank of her laces and fellow wrestlers steering clear of the acerbic maid's wrathful aura. Akino having come to the stark realization recently that she must have somehow lost some modicum of street cred and outright respect within the federation in these recent years. Stagnation coming as the result of a lack of credible challengers lined up for her. How else could she explain being mistaken for the janitorial staff by some blueberry colored, bobbleheaded bimbo who probably hadn't even wrestled a day in her life? The baffling interaction having been replayed in her head ad nauseam with the maid walking away from that bewildering conversation with nothing more than a host of questions and gigantic bag of garbage in need of disposal. Well, Akino did walk away from that encounter with one other thing. An opportunity to establish herself once again as an unyielding force nature. A cycloptic menace to be reckoned with whose more known for strangling adversaries with choked breaths between her constricting thighs and satiating her carnal desires in the process. Akino knew all too well that chances at redemption weren't easy to come by these days, and Akino had precisely zero intention of allowing this one to slip through her gloved grasps. One final affirmative yank of her shoestrings were taken before the cantankerous maid sat upright and start cracking her knuckles on her way out of the locker-room and straight towards the Gorilla position. Akino Sanada
The shrill screams and electric guitars riffs of Akino's theme started playing alongside the sadistic maid now making her determined stride out from behind the blackened curtain and down the illuminated ramp. An ominous presentation of a seasoned fighter now donning her trademark frilly maid outfit with thigh high stockings and skirt that bounced slightly with each step taken. Ice cold intensity honing in on the centered wrestling ring as she continued twirling about her silver handcuffs around her index finger. The alluring dichotomy of a savage competitor adorned in laced elegance capturing the audience's attention almost immediately. Akino never acknowledging the small pockets of fans who surprisingly had taken somewhat of a shine to The Otaku Maid...and this disregard continued onward as an intentional method of further entrancing audience members vying for her attention. The most devilish of smirks started creeping across her face as she stopped her twirling to pocket her handcuffs before sliding underneath the bottom rope and ascended with a leggy extension that had Akino popping out her pantied rump in a flirtatious manner before stepping through the ring ropes. Except no sooner did Akino enter the ring than the referee ceased her approach with her arms folded and fingers tapping on her other arms. The maid rolling her sole eye in abject irritation before fishing out her handcuffs from her pocket and handing them to the official. Akino somehow finding more reasons to make herself considerably prickly today as she ventured towards her corner ring post and lackadaisically slouched against it, legs crossed and arms folded in a harrumph with feral intensity eyeing the top of the ramp...
Blonde Blazer paced back and forth in the cramped Gorilla position, glancing toward the staff member every few steps as she anxiously awaited her cue. Today was finally the day. Her legendary wrestling debut..! Against the greatest, strongest wrestler in the entire federation, no less. At least, that was how Akino had introduced herself, and Blazer could hardly imagine a more fitting opponent for the historic first chapter of her LAW career. A glimpse beyond the curtain revealed the illuminated arena. Then came the crowd, their voices spilling backstage in a swelling chorus that made her heart beat a little faster. Beneath her nervous anticipation, something familiar stirred, as though a long-quiet part of her had finally heard its cue.
The signal came. Bright synth-pop burst through the speakers as Blonde Blazer stepped into the lights, planted both hands upon her hips, and lifted her chin in a suitably dignified display of superheroic confidence. The pose lasted approximately three seconds. Then someone cheered, Blazer’s eyes lit up, and the dignified defender of justice was suddenly waving at everyone in the building.
Blonde Blazer
This. This was what she had missed. Her smile widened as she blew kisses toward the stands, turning from one side of the stage to the other before finally beginning her descent. Hands reached over the barricades, and Blazer eagerly met them with enthusiastic high-fives, her progress down the ramp becoming increasingly dependent upon how many people she could greet along the way. It would hardly be heroic to leave anyone out.
Then, somewhere beyond the nearest rows of spectators, a familiar image caught her eye. She slowed. Blinked. Looked again. There she was. Not on the entrance screen, but on a handmade sign held above someone’s head, an unmistakable promotional photograph from her television series. Beside it, another fan raised a similar sign, waving it with enough enthusiasm to leave very little doubt about whom they had come to see. “Oh...! You...you came..!” The words were almost certainly lost beneath the music, but Blazer’s reaction required very little explanation. She clasped both hands beneath her chin. For a moment, she could only stare, her smile trembling as the realization sank in. Then she began bouncing on the spot, waving both arms overhead to make absolutely certain those fans knew she had seen them.
She pointed toward them, nodded eagerly, and pressed a hand to her heart. Another familiar image appeared higher in the stands. Blazer immediately turned toward the fans holding it, smiling up at them as she lifted her arm in another enthusiastic wave. They remembered her. Her fans waved, Blazer waved back, and then they waved again.. which, naturally, meant she had to wave some more. Somewhere in this very important exchange, the opponent waiting for her inside the ring slipped clean out of her head...! By now, her grand entrance had become an unscheduled fan event. The cameraman following her peered over his camera, his head tilted in mild puzzlement. A nearby staff member remained considerably less expressive.
Eventually, a fan beside the barricade offered Blazer an awkward smile and pointed past her shoulder. Blazer turned. The staff member tapped their watch, then gestured firmly toward the ring. “Ah...!” Her eyes widened. She scratched the back of her head, an embarrassed grin spreading across her face. Right. The debut. The entire reason everyone was here. With one last apologetic wave, Blazer broke into a hurried jog down the remaining stretch of the ramp.
At ringside, Blazer took off her short cape and handed it to a staff member. She then climbed onto the apron and slipped smoothly between the ropes before ascending the turnbuckle, where she promptly discovered that being inside the ring offered an excellent opportunity to wave at everyone again. One more blown kiss. Another broad sweep of her arm toward the upper stands. Only then did she step down and finally turn her attention toward Akino.
“Wow...you really are here..! So you weren’t kidding about being a wrestler.” Blazer approached, clearly pleased to have that little mystery settled. Akino had even gone to the trouble of arranging this entire match for her. And now she was standing here, ready to wrestle, wearing... Blazer’s gaze drifted downward. The maid outfit. Of course, Blazer was wearing a costume herself, but hers made perfect sense. Akino’s peculiar combination of frills and ferocity required a little more consideration. Perhaps the lace was intended to soften her rather...intense personality? An attempt to appear more approachable?
One hand returned to her chin. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she studied the woman before her, a final trace of suspicion surviving even now. “Of course...whether you really are the best wrestler in the federation...” She tilted her head. “I suppose we’re about to find out...” Then the scrutinizing look vanished beneath a brilliant smile. Blazer extended her hand toward Akino, offering a handshake with the sunny sincerity of someone entirely satisfied with her own manners. “Let’s have a great match..!”
