Bandita remains latched onto Cassidy tightly, eyes squeezing shut. After the surprising beating she's taken, she can hope that this sudden, shocking reversal might seal the deal and lock her opponent down on the mat! She's won some matches in the past with La Desperada before! It's half pain and having the air knocked out of you, half the full disorientation of unexpectedly flipping!

With the first count, Bandita doesn't feel any resistance in her opponent's body. Her thighs press inwards, lightly squeezing against Cassidy's torso in anticipation. The second count slams to the mat, and Bandita presses her cheek tighter between the other girl's thighs. The streamlined muscles of her arms pop as she squeezes, hugging onto her inverted midsection tighter. Almost over...!

The hand very nearly strikes the mat a third time, halfway down to the mat! But Cassidy's body engages like a popped cork, bucking wildly with a twist! Bandita's grip is dislodged, her body forces to tumble to the side along with Cassidy's. "Ah!"

Her legs withdraw, unlacing herself from the cowgirl to get to all fours. The visual of both girls beaten and hurting is a feast for the audience, juxtaposed wonderfully against the cheerfully boisterous and even friendly opening to their bout.

She crawls closer to Cassidy, one hand setting to her waist as she nears. The hand relocates along Cassidy's form as she crawls along, next setting to the upper arm, then shoulder, and finally to hook the side of her neck. She pulls, drawing her rival to a seated position to touch her brow against hers briefly. A couple hard, heavy breaths are taken there, as if sharing the moment with her.

"Thought.. I had you..," she whispers to her between breaths.

Drawing back again, her left hand tangles in Cassidy's hair near the scalp, the other hand going for her wrist. Tugging, she leads the blonde to her feet again and opts to try to end this with a way that she hopes might earn a little more respect from the cowgirl. To show her she's taking her seriously. That she's not holding back on her!

Once standing, she releases Cassidy's wrist and winds back, only to drive a single, firm right hook towards the blonde's cheek. The moment of impact, she'll release the hair to avoid risk of ripping any out! But the punch is solid. Deliberate. As forceful as Bandita could muster. Her heart hurts delivering it, but a significant part of her feels like this is the way she gets that respect from Cassidy. That she proves she's here with purpose! Just the one shot should deliver that message.

Afterwards, Bandita winds back again to throw a hard hook from the right a second time! But lower. The knuckles drive for the center of Cassidy's stomach! Her left arm hooks around the blonde's waist, turning to prop her left shoulder against the blonde to keep her both standing and mostly upright to deliver a second, then third punch into her stomach!

Punches to the gut are totally fine for the luchadora. She feels no apprehension in delivering those, and the force behind them likely reveals that. And after that third punch, she leaves her fist resting against her midsection for a few panting seconds. She turns to stand square to her again and pushes her shoulders to stand her upright before her.

She offers a breathless, open smile. It feels like it's time to end it. To take full advantage of this moment. And after blowing Cassidy a quick kiss, the Latina turns and darts for the ropes. She pivots on heel, back stretching the cables against her, and she launches full-on towards Cassidy, determination and zeal burning in her hazel-green eyes.

The punch to the face had surprised Cassidy.

Even through the haze, there was a flicker of approval in those blue eyes. Bandita had finally thrown one back.

The three shots to her stomach were another matter. Cassidy doubled slightly with each impact, abs already aching from the punishment they'd taken throughout the match.

But when Bandita blew that kiss and sprinted for the ropes, Cassidy knew something big was coming.

She waited.

Bandita rebounded and came flying back—

Cassidy suddenly stepped forward.

"Gotcha, sugar!"

She ducked low, wrapped both arms around Bandita's waist, and used the luchadora's own momentum to hoist her clean off the canvas!

Cassidy turned sharply and drove Bandita down with a thunderous

SPINEBUSTER!

The ring shook beneath them as Cassidy planted the speeding luchadora flat onto her back.

Still hurting, Cassidy dropped to one knee beside her, clutching her battered stomach with one arm while breathing heavily.

But that familiar grin was back.

Bandita was feeling pretty confident at this point. Cassidy looked like she was hurting, like she might be down and out! She just needed to hit her with one last devastating maneuver to put her away and take home a debut win! But it meant so much more than bragging rights. It meant proving something to the management. That this hadn't been a mistake. That she was a good bet. Not just to the management, in fact! To her family! So many people had put their hopes on her, and this was her chance to make good on that!

Even that glimmer of approval from Cassidy made her heart sing! She might be moments away from the perfect start to her new life, and doing right by everyone! She just needs to launch herself at this cowgirl, hook her neck, and--

Arms lock around her waist. In that instant, Bandita knew something was horribly wrong. She couldn't swing her lower half around her to execute her finisher! Cassidy had completely caught her out, seizing her body-to-body. Her chest presses into the cowgirl's, her bare stomach against Cassidy's abs, nearly face-to-face with the other girl. Cassidy's vision would be taken up with the wide-eyed alarm of Bandita's hazel-green eyes.

She's swing high into the air---

"NononoNO!"

---and SLAMMED down to the mat. A choked cry escapes her upon impact, bouncing once from the force. Her eyes squeeze shut, expression an agonized grimace. Her boots plant flat to the mat, shoulders and elbows pressing behind her as she arches her spine and hips upwards in recoil. The pain blazes along the full span of her spine like lightning, and it's all the young rogue can do to endure it. "A-aaahn...!" It's a breathless cry.

After a few seconds of jerking, arching spasms, Bandita's strength gives out. She drops heavily onto her side at first before tilting over to lie flat on her back, chest and midsection rising and dropping with each panted, strained breath. Her knees continually squirm, bending then pushing out, as her arms also squirm their elbows against the mat. The girl is writhing in pain, as much as her beaten body will allow.
