This, on top of all her recent failures, put enormous pressure on her, especially emotionally. Perhaps that’s what helped her gather her strength at least a little and prevent Ami from performing a DDT.

After stopping the blue‑haired woman’s attack, the Sand Lizard began hitting her rival in the stomach in an attempt to make her let go of the Frenchwoman. Fortunately, her emotional state hadn’t affected her physical strength, so every strike was hard, and, as a result, Ami was forced to let go of Charlotte’s head.

Instincts told the pink‑haired woman that before straightening up to her full height, she should raise her head and look up. This definitely saved her, because it was this that helped her see that Ami hadn’t lost her concentration despite the pain. The Japanese woman clasped her hands together and directed a powerful blow at the Sand Lizard’s back.

“Suce-le!” Slipped from her lips.

She threw both hands up, causing Ami’s joined hands to crash into her open palms. Although she effectively stopped the blow, the force of the attack literally forced Charlotte to fall to one knee. Her hands trembled under the pressure of the blue‑haired woman, but then her eyes sparkled.

Gathering her strength, she powerfully pushed Ami’s hands back up. In this way, she wanted to fully expose her opponent’s middle section, because in the next second Charlotte intended to straighten up to her full height and deliver a hard front kick to the lower part of the blue‑haired woman’s abdomen, thereby forcing her to bend in half.

If successful, the Frenchwoman, trying to control her breathing, would immediately throw both hands toward Ami’s head in order to catch her in a three‑quarter facelock hold. She needed something powerful to somehow even out the odds in this match, and so, without hesitation, she would first turn her back to her opponent and then fall onto her butt as sharply as possible to drive Ami’s neck and chin into her shoulder with a sudden stunner!
