Sophie vs Mary (D) - From the bottom to the top?

Post by Lederface »

Type of combat: Standard combat.
Conditions for winning: Knockout, count of 3, and surrender.
For Mary... this moment was something new... after years of only fighting underground, finally with a fight in her hands ready to show the world what she was really made of, would her moment to shine begin here... and with a song that would accompany her well, it would be heard by the whole world
Theme Music
And so, finally, with her theme song playing, she would make her appearance, advancing through the venue, without much fanfare or grand gestures... just being herself, with confidence in her body and a toughness that was evident in her walk... so finally in the ring, she would climb up the corner, reaching her corner and then, with a glance around the entire ring, she would wait in the corner for the arrival of her first opponent.

Sophie Theme
Began playing soon after Mary Allen settled in the ring. She waited a few moments to build suspense, before walking out from out if backstage and to the top of the arena ramp. She stood for a few moments flexing allowing the fans and her opponent to take in the physique in front of them.

Of course, her opponent in the ring wasn't short by any means, but she was shorter and while she muscular, Sophie was more muscular. If this was doing to be a battle of power, 'Solidarity' was certain that she'd win it. But she knew far better than to underestimate a smaller opponent. If being bigger was all it took to win she'd have gone through life essentially undefeated, but she hadn't. She'd need to apply skill, which she had plenty of

Sophie made her way to the ring with casual confidence, not even bothering to use the ring steps and instead choosing to climb on to ring apron, to flex some more for the crowd before stepping in. It might well have speed like an opportune time to Mary to ambush her before the bell rang.

Finally seeing her opponent enter, Mary's face betrayed a moment of doubt. Just by looking at her, she knew the situation was stacked against her; physically smaller, she would have to compensate for that with more skill.

Seeing her finally enter the ring, Mary waited to see her arrive, and once they were both in the ring, Mary would say to her seriously

Listen carefully, it's my first time here, so it's good for you to know: I don't plan to go slow with you, or with anyone really, but I have one rule: if you ask me to stop, I will, so you can recover and continue or stop. But you'll only get 1 chance

Mary would say, before hesitantly offering her hand, still not fully understanding the gesture.
