Raya was starting to get used to these waiting times backstage. The nerves were still there, but did not shake her as bad as they used to. Before, she would look down at her quaking hands and try to stop them from shaking, but it would be no use. Now, it would be hard to tell from the outside that she had any remaining nervousness that would tear her apart like they used to. Still, she took in a few deep breaths in order to compose herself, even the slightest disadvantage could cost her at a place like Law.

Or at least, that was what she would think had she been matched up against any other opponent. Raya thought back to the moment the matchup had been decided, the look of disgust on her face as she realized the disrespect she had been given. Although it was true that on paper she had nothing to celebrate, having racked up far more losses than wins so far, her performances themselves though had been nothing to scoff at, and it was only a matter of time when she'd be able to start consistently turning these "good performances" into "good victories". But still, what was the point of being put in such a ridiculous match against this joke of an opponent?

Raya hadn’t actually bothered to look over any of Jem’s previous matches, she felt she didn’t need to based on her perspective of the woman. She was clearly an industry plant, only signed to law based on her online popularity, the company had gotten her on board not based on in ring performances, but on external factors. Sure, she had a couple of wins under her belt, but Raya was confident that a few of those “wins” had been nudged in favour of Holland through certain…subtleties.

When it was time, Raya quickly made her way into the arena and made a beeline straight for the ring, again not making time to bother with the crowd around her. This had started to become a habit of hers, she’d been making it a point to focus on nothing but what lay in front of her. She was the first one there tonight, entering the ring and waiting for her opponent to show up. She suspected that there would be some kind of spectacle to show off, knowing Jem’s proclivities as a supposedly flashy personality. She didn’t mind though, it was nothing to get worked up about, but she’d make sure to put all her energy into the actual wrestling aspects.

In fact, there might not be much time for wrestling tonight regardless, depending on how fast she'd decide to finish off poor Jem. As Raya entered the ring, her previous thoughts of anger started turning to joy, she would be able to treat this match like a bit of a well deserved break to recharge for her next steps. Who did she plan on challenging next anyways? Her victory tonight was assured, so this might start some momentum for her.

There were many ways for a newer talent to make a name for themselves at LAW. But all roads lead through the same milestones, the same checkpoints. To be the man, you have to beat the man. To be a name in wrestling, you have to beat the notable names in wrestling. For a woman like Raya, that meant taking in any and all comers until she could earn the chance to take on the mainstays and the cornerstones of the company. And tonight, she had a chance at one of LAW's fav favorites in LAW's Greatest E-Girl, Jem Holland!

Entrance Theme

A burst of pyro went off at the top of the entrance ramp! And when the fireworks cleared, the silhouette of the gamer girl came into view! A health bar filled up on the titantron! The crowd let out a wave of cheers! Jem was coming into this match off a hard-fought instant classic of a match against the former heavyweight champion, Alaina Sanders. And although she came up short, her performance earned her a new LAW contract and the chance to operate on behalf of the company! And today she was here to get the measure of Raya!

LAW's Greatest E-Girl Jem Holland!

"Mwah~" Holland blew kisses to the fans as she made her way down the ramp. The announcers called her name as she stopped by a dedicated Jem fan with a huge sign bearing The E-Girl's name!

"Making her way to the ring! Standing at 5 foot 4! Weighing 134 pounds! LAW's Greatest E-Girl!!!! Jeeeem Hooooooooollaaaaaaand!"

Jem's entrance juxtaposed Raya's in a way that made them look like polar opposites! Where Raya had practically powerwalked her way to the ring, ignoring the legions of fans around her, Jem made her way down slowly, making sure to acknowledge and even mingle with the people who paid for tickets to see this match! Where Raya waited in the ring diligently, putting business before pomp and circumstance, LAW's Greatest E-Girl was happy to play up the anticipation and excitement heading into this contest! By the time she set foot on the steel steps, Holland motioned to the ringside staff for a live microphone!

"LAW fans! Jem fans! You know what time it is?!" Jem called out as she made her way up the steps and onto the ring apron!

As she poked her head through the ropes and entered the ring, she continued.

"You might be new around here, so lemme break it down for ya, Raya!" Holland was happy to approach and stand face to face with the taller, more stoic, more intimidating woman! Mic still in hand! Jem locked eyes with her opponent and addressed her directly!

"It doesn't matter if you're a fresh-faced rookie or a grizzled vet! It doesn't matter if you have a cute name like Raya Ashberry while somehow still having a mean mug! Tonight, you better GET SET....!" Jem held her mic up high, beckoning the crowd!

"TO GET WREEEEEKT!" The fans were electric as they finished Jem's catchphrase for her! The E-Girl smiled confidently and tossed her mic aside. She rolled her shoulders to loosen up as the referee checked with both middleweights and called for the bell! When the sound of the bell rang out, Jem would assume a grappler's stance and hunch forward slightly. Her eye would be trained on the redhead, and Holland would circle the ring with Raya! Her long, blonde hair flowed in the breeze as they circled faster and faster! The bright lights shone off of Jem's bright blue/white/orange leotard as this match got underway!

Jem had no way of knowing that Raya was expecting an easy dub here, but she came into this match the same way she did with any other! With every intention of showing her opponent why these loyal fans who had been following her since before her wrestling days still believed in her and offered her their full-throated support with every step and every LAW match!
