As Alaina was rising she saw Valerie coming in and she was moving fast, far faster than Alaina was capable of. Her arm was grabbed and twist behind her, the pain jolting through almost helping Alaina bolt up but she turned with Valerie right behind her wrenching down on that hold. She was stuck and shaking her head while trying to figure out how to get back into this.

Alaina tried stepping away and ducking low twisting herself so her arm was still held but not at the angle that made the hammerlock hurt. Then if she were fast enough the amazon was trying to pull Valerie with her held arm right at the amazon and into Alaina's extended arm for a clothesline!

Valerie’s mother had warned her about getting too confident with Alaina. Even in her old age, she was still the Comeback Queen, had pulled plenty of matches back from the brink, had the sort of stamina that could outlast most women half her age. This match could flip around in an instant.

But, as she brought Alaina into the hammerlock and kept her under control, there was no stopping the electric thrill that went through her. The momentum was hers, the winds were in her favor…

It only took a couple of seconds for them to start blowing in the other direction. Alaina pulled away and worked her way out of the hold with a deftness that only comes from decades of experience, and the next thing she knew, she was eating the woman’s arm

The blow dropped her, hard and fast, hitting the canvas with an impact that left the audience reeling and hurt every bit as bad as it looked. Valerie stayed down there, too, groaning out her displeasure as she rolled from side to side.
