A Pristine Revenge: The Pristine and the Cool Vs. Generations

Chloe’s plan was to reverse the pinfall with so much momentum that she would end up on Ivy in a very advantageous spot, and seeming it worked as the two rolled over, Chloe on top and Ivy at the botton.

The only part Chloe did not expect was Ivy grabbing her arm while she was not looking and twisting it in a Fujiwara Armbar, with both of Chloe’s long legs still trapped as well.

“AAAAAHHHHH!” Chloe screamed as she felt her arm bend at such an unnatural position, it felt like something was about to pop out, and she needed to get out of this fast.

Remembering that she has a free arm, Chloe attempted to bring up, and slap Ivy right in the face, hoping it would cause her to let go. If not, at least it would be a gorgeous act of defiance.

Ivy's relentless, lethal aggression continued to put Chloe through the ringer. The model was now left screaming as the purplette wrenched her Reverse Armbar and sent agony shooting through the upper arm of the Pegasus. Ivy had originally been planning to simply rack up some more damage with this before going back to pinfalls. But she slowed down just enough to realize that there was no reason she shouldn't just ride this hold out until Chloe either did something about it or tapped out.

Chloe would try to do something about Ivy's Reverse Armbar, but a person could only reach their arms so far behind themselves. The Snow Rose saw the blunette's untrapped arm reaching up to try and do something, but she lacked the reach to do anything more than graze a finger against Ivy's back. In fact, Ivy would see this as an opportunity to truly go for the kill. She'd repurpose one arm to grab Chloe's second arm, and shift her position to be sitting centered on the model's back. Then Ivy would wrap her arms around Chloe's arms to bend them backwards then pull for a Double Fujiwara Armbar.

Chloe was doing everything in her power to get out of the armbar, no matter what she could not let Ivy beat her so decisively again, even as her arm felt like it was screaming in pain, slowly feeling like it was coming out of it’s socket, Chloe making one last desperation slap to Ivy to attempt an escape.

Sadly for the Pristine Pegasus, that would be the final nail in the coffin.

Ivy managed to catch Chloe’s hand, even if the slap had no chance of connecting, and managed to twist Chloe up in a double Fujiwara Armbar, now with both arms blasting through her veins with pain.

“AAAAAAAAH!” Chloe screamed in pain so loud that even those in the cheap seats could clearly hear her, it felt so over for Chloe, as much as she hated to admit it, Ivy overcame her once again, she felt defeated.

So as loudly as she could and with no ability to tap out, she would have to verbally submit.

“I GIVE UP! I SUBMIT!” The model screamed as loud as she could, hoping the referee and Ivy would hear it to force her to let go of this painful submission hold, tears leaking out of her eyes. She just wanted mercy at this rate.

Ivy started to calm down a bit after she managed to secure Chloe's second arm and lock in the Double Fujiwara Armbar. Considering how far the Pegasus had already been pushed, she figured that this had to be it. And indeed it was, as in only a few seconds more, Chloe was screaming out a desperate, begging submission that anointed Generations the winner of this match.

Soon as Chloe had submitted, Ivy let go of the supermodel's arms and allowed herself to slide off of her opponent's back to sit beside her beaten figure. Ivy's knees were up, with her arms hanging over them as she took deep breaths, finally able to feel relief. She had redeemed herself for her error that eliminated Tiki by finishing the match herself. She wasn't much for a big celebration, just. . . relief.

Chloe finally felt relief in her body as Ivy let go of the armbar and let her arms flop down onto the canvas, though what was not relieved was her mind. She still does not get it,

Why can’t she beat Ivy?!

Is there something missing from herself, is she not good enough, is she really only here because of her looks.

She only not just let herself down, she left Alex and all her fans down.

Chloe attempted to grab Ivy by her ankle, and just look at Ivy, with tears almost coming out of her eyes, just to ask her one question to the purple haired woman.

“WHY CAN’T I BEAT YOU?!”

The first real time any sort of self doubt had hit Chloe.

Ivy was ready to get up and head backstage, primarily to see Tiki and apologize for getting her smothered out. But she was stopped by a pull on her ankle. When the purplette turned, it was Chloe, looking ready to start sobbing, It seemed that whatever distress Ivy had felt about letting down Tiki, Chloe was feeling fivefold with the seeming emergence of a wrestling white whale in Ivy.

Ivy froze, not knowing how to answer. I'm simply better, was the first thing that came to mind. Ivy had beaten Chloe twice now, so that was a natural conclusion to make. But she couldn't say that. She held no ill will towards the Pegasus, and saying that would surely destroy her. Perhaps something about how everybody has opponents they just can't beat unless they're the best in the world?

"Mentors," Ivy's head snapped to Tiki's voice. She had come out from backstage to greet Ivy rather than the reverse as the Snow Rose had intended. Tiki nodded to Ivy mouthed Nice work to her, as if she didn't even know her defeat was caused by Ivy's blunder. But then Tiki walked past her protege and crouched down to Chloe's level.

"Ivy's father, the man who taught her to fight in the first place, was a very successful prizefighter in his own right," Ivy said. "And I'm her mentor now, and I'm one of the most legendary female wrestlers in the history of the UK. You and Ivy are two incredibly similar wrestlers, so who wins between the two of you largely comes down to who does what you do best better. And Ivy has had some of the best people possible to teach her how to do that."

"If you can find somebody to guide and elevate you as a wrestler, I think you have a similar potential as Ivy, even," Tiki said. "After all, even if I had the edge, you still held your own respectably against me. And it's truly impressive that you held me in your smother long enough to knock me out, even if you had a little help to lock it in from your partner."

It really did feel like Chloe’s confidence was hitting an all time low, losing to the same person twice in a row, especially via submission was never a good feeling. Would she ever reach the tippy top of the pro wrestling world like this, could she ever beat Ivy? Or was it simply an impossible task for the Pristine Pegasus.

It was around this time that Alex had came back to her senses, and was following Tiki right behind after the match, though still a little dizzy from the submission she was in. But when she saw that Tiki wanted to talk with Chloe, the blonde decided to stay ringside, feeling like invading on this conversation would not be cool at all, especially for her tag partner.

A lot of Tiki’s words were hitting hard for Chloe, truth is she was really good, maybe she really does need someone to really help put herself over that last hump. Their needed to be one last thing she could do to finally become a champion.

“So miss Lowell, do you know anyone who could become a mentor to me darling?” Chloe said, starting to reel back the tears that had fallen earlier.

Tiki truly is the master, Ivy thought has her mentor had quelled Chloe's tears with just a few calm and direct sentences. Ivy herself was socially adept, but comforting the distraught was never her strong suit, unless it was somebody whom she had a deep bond with like Hortensia. Tiki just walked in and brought peace to a sobbing stranger.

For Tiki's own part, she closed her eyes and tilted her head down as she thought through possible options. She ruled herself out; if Chloe wanted that, she presumably would have asked Tiki outright instead of asking for a name. It was something of a balance of trying to think of somebody who'd suit Chloe well in both style and personality. Her mind kept drifting to people she knew would be good for Ivy, but that wasn't right. For as similar as they were as wrestlers, they were quite different as people. While Tiki obviously didn't know Chloe well at all, the Pegasus struck her as a very modernistic, forward thinking woman. Whereas Ivy was a much more traditional, aristocratic type of lady. Perhaps somebody who wasn't from an older generation- she had it.

"Are you familiar with Drasna Selinofoto?" Tiki asked. "The woman's an old rival of mine, but she has a daughter who wrestles as well: Cassandra. She's young, but possesses knowledge and experience beyond her age. She struggled early on in her career and took a hiatus, but she's made a successful comeback. Enough so that I've heard she'll be challenging for Annie Clark's Lightweight title soon. She matches your style, and knows the skill it takes to reach the top. I think you'd do well to learn from her."

Hearing those words from Tiki made Chloe feel relieved. Maybe there was a way she could finally overcome her ultimate obstacle and somehow defeat Ivy. “Thank you so much Tiki. I think I can try to get in contact with Cassandra.” Chloe said as she slowly lifted herself back up to her feet, though feeling quite wobbly.

Luckily Alex had gotten back into the ring to help Chloe stay on her feet as the two proceeded to exit the ring, Alex paying no attention to Tiki or Ivy, the two victors of the match, as they made her tag partner cry.

Hopefully their next tag match will go a lot better then this one, and Chloe can find the mentorship she needs to overcome Ivy

"Well, best of luck!" Tiki called as their opponents walked away.

"Yes, we'll certainly fight again, Chloe," Ivy followed. Once the two were heading backstage themselves, Ivy tried to speak about her mistake, but quickly found herself interrupted.

"My fault," Tiki said. "I easily could have walked beyond any possible range Alex could've reached had I paid better attention. My mind called the match too quickly, happens to even me, clearly. Thank you for picking up my slack."

Ivy stopped, left slack jawed at Tiki's admission of a blunder that the purplette had completely put on herself. It wasn't until Tiki called after Ivy that she regained herself, and joined her mentor backstage, bring the night's events to a close.
