Svetlana vs. Shira: Technical Battle

Svetlana thought she had Shira and was really starting to roll when the two rolled over. Before Svetlana adjusted things came crashing down as the headbutt smashed into her. Shira's head smashed right into Svetlana's nose and jaw leaping her with a throbbing nose, blurry vision and a bit of blood appearing where her teeth sank into her lip! Svetlana groaned and was laying on her back kicking the mat as her hands covered her face. She was trying to rise but Shira now had a chance to act offensively if she so chose as Svetlana was struggling with the surprise counter.

Shira rolled onto her feet and adopted her wrestling stance at the same time, only to find that Svetlana remained downed on floor, reeling from the earlier headbutt. Killswitch gulped as she weighed the risk and after a moment, decided to go in. She dashed forwards before dropping low and allowing momentum to carry herself, and more importantly her extended foot right into her opponent's exposed ribcage for a slide kick.

Svetlana was down and her hands covering her face so her ribs were wide open. The kick came and smacked into them making her groan and roll over onto her stomach as she cradled her mid-section in her arms. Her bloody lip was now visible and a small smear was on the mat from her face against the canvas after taking the kick. She shook her head trying to rise back up to her feet as she was shaking off the daze of the headbutt.

Shira immediately rolled backwards onto her feet upon landing her kick, swiftly and smoothly re-adopting her fighting posture at the same time. She breathed out a shaky but mildly triumphant breath when saw Svetlana staggering back up, clearly worse for wear. Killswitch simply closed her eyes, took another deep breath, and let it out. She decided to give up the initiative and simply waited for her opponent to make a move which she can ideally counter.

Svetlana was shaking her head feeling as though she was just a joke. She felt embarrassed, the one aspect of wrestling she felt good at she was being entirely showed up in. She circled and moved in again, trying to go slow before lunging low in a bid to grab at Shira's legs and pull them out from underneath her as Svetlana was going to attempt to get into a mounted position with Shira on the mat on her back... if things went according to plan.
