Almost there, almost there…

Bubbles wasn’t good with submissions like this, never had been. She didn’t use them, and when she got caught in them, her usual response was to flail about like a beached whale, flopping and thrashing and not getting much of anywhere. There was probably some kind of intricate, intelligent escape she could’ve done to get out of this hold, but she had no clue what it was, and even she did, she was in too much pain to remember it.

Thankfully, she did have one thing going for her when it came to submission holds: Her size. When you were as all as she was, the ropes were never all that far away. After Mariah helped her snap back to reality - thanks, honey - she swung around, stretched out, and snagged the bottom rope, breaking her way out of the hold and earning her some relief.

Good. Good. Now, Nadia would let her go and give her some well-earned relief, right?

Wrong.

She did let up on the hold, but only for a moment, before she snapped right back to another one, even more lethal than the last. Bubbles gasped as the woman’s legs wrapped around her neck and shoulder, pulling her into a tight, punished triangle choke, gripping her with iron legs and choking the life out of her. While she might not have been an expert with these moves, she knew enough to know she was in danger, serious danger, and she needed an out. Immediately.

Her only choice? Brute force. Gritting her teeth, she planted one foot on the canvas, then another, and lifted Nadia up, up, up, until she was at her chest level. It was awkward, it was painful, but she fought through it, gripped her tight, then charged forward and tried to slam her opponent’s head against the nearest turnbuckle, hoping the impact would jar her loose.

Nadia pulled and pulled; the strain on Bubbles' muscles surely being felt at this point as it seemed the doll crusher wasn't content with anything besides popping Bubbles' shoulder out of it's socket! But with every passing second a hint of concern grew over Nadia as Bubbles was seeming to gain strength rather than lose it- Suddenly the lifters feet planted on the canvas and Her body raised slowly as Nadia continued to hang on; determined that Bubbles would begin to falter any second now!

Unfortunately for Nadia; that point wouldn't come as She felt Her own back raised off the canvas and a raw fury to be seen in Bubbles eyes as She was now lifted in a tight cradle at chest height to Her opponent! It was too awkward a place to remove the hold, Nadia's only option was to hang on for dear life as the concern in Her expression was now fully visible and Her body began flying backwards! "Shit~"

The back of Nadia's head slammed painfully into a turnbuckle She was unable to see- loosening Her grip in an instant as She crumpled painfully into the corner with Her limbs splayed out from the sudden shock of the impact! Her spine also took a brunt of damage; causing Her to arch Her back which had already been targeted and collapse into a uncomfortable seated position with Her head barely leaned on the bottom turnbuckle.

"Gnah... y-you're lu-lucky I..."

Nadia attempted to blurt out a insult to challenge Her vulnerable position- but the wind had been knocked quite well out of Her sails as She mumbled out half of what She wanted to say while laying in a visibly pained heap for Bubbles to target!

Bubbles didn’t know much about technical wrestling. She didn’t know any fancy submissions, couldn't link together endless chains of escapes and holds. She couldn't even pronounce some of the fancier moves, let alone execute them.

But raw power? Oh, she could do raw power. Damned straight.

Executing this ‘counter’ nearly knocked her arm off by itself, but it was more than worth the price of admission to see the look in Nadia’s eyes when she realized what was about to happen. The impact was a heavy one, slamming her against the turnbuckle with a sickening crash, and Bubbles immediately rolled away to caress her aching arm, numbed from the pain. She wouldn’t be doing much lifting with it for a minute or so, that much was clear.

But she still had two perfectly good legs, and she still knew how to use them, with an opponent who was ripe for the smashing. Bubbles pushed her way up, took a moment to gather her breath, and then went into action, storming away from her opponent to the opposite corner of the ring. She turned at the last second, let her back smack against the pads, then bounced off and came charging towards Nadia with an extra boost of speed, her heavy footstep shaking the ring with every step.

Once she was close enough, Bubbles spun about, turned, and rammed her butt into Nadia’s face, throwing all of weight into a devastating hip attack.
