Blair Yuen vs. Akumu Yurei

Every move Akumu was making was calculated to get into Blair's head, making her feel small and hopeless, and reminding her that this was her future - this was what she could look forward to, every day of her life, and this was all that Akumu and everyone else in LAW thought she was good for. She was hoping that by targeting the Canadian's insecurities, she could trick her into making a mistake. And, to her credit, she had managed to get Blair's blood boiling...but Blair could only be pushed into a corner, literally and figuratively, for so long before all the pent-up anger she felt was going to come explosively outward, aimed right at Akumu!

Striking from behind, Blair's arm latched into place around Akumu's windpipe - and with that, the tables had turned! Now, Akumu had Blair bearing down on her from behind, squeezing her throat as tight as she could between her bicep and forearm. The veins in her forehead throbbed, and she hissed a gout of hot air through her teeth as she pulled at her throat as tightly as she could manage. A few fans had cheered for her comeback, but it still wasn't enough for Blair to feel satisfied. It wouldn't be enough until she had Akumu finished - only then would she have shown her what she thought of her!

Akumu was going to fight back, though. She began to pull at Blair's arm, but that would only cause the Muay Thai fighter to squeeze harder at her neck. What would really begin to tip the scales came when Akumu started to buck her hips backward into Blair's gut again. At first, it only served to annoy her - but then, the momentum of Akumu's strike would throw Blair back against the corner post, where her back struck the turnbuckles hard!

"GAAH-!" The sound of a clang rang out as Blair's back bent into an arc, a surge of pain shooting through her. She let go of Akumu's throat and clutched at her back to try and nurse the pain. But when she looked up to see Akumu getting away from her, Blair wasn't about to let her get far! She charged forward, going to throw a punch into the fleeing girl's back!

Akumu thought she have this in the bag already, as she have complete control since the beginning of the match. Sadly for her, Blair is a former champion for a reason. The reason of her slum have nothing to do with her strength as Blair would have soon proven by trapping her in a choke hold so tight that Akumu can't find it in herself the strength to forcefully rip Blair arm off her neck. Despite her advantageous position, it seem Blair proven herself to able to completely turn that advantage over it's head within seconds the second she let her guard down, as Akumu in her desperation tried to slam her hips into Blair guts hoping her hyper target of it will slowly but surely soften it up

Thankfully for Akumu, it seem her hips strike is enough to make Blair let go of the hold...well the corner does help do the heavy lifting but it is good enough for her. Anything is good as long as it make her escape that choke hold as it become clearly obvious that she wouldn't be able to overpower the little dragon from one encounter alone. What a brute, just from one exchange could very well be enough to turn the tide and flow completely. Akumu would have immediately escape when Blair hold loosen as she would have let out a cough as she tried to breath back as quickly as possible as she doubt that Blair will her rest for long

And she shall not! Blair wouldn't waste any time as she would have charge straight at her without mercy! luckily for Akumu, it seem that Blair is too focus on chasing after her to think anything else. Hoping to take advantage of this, Akumu would have send a back kick straight toward the charging Blair in her guts. Hoping to take advantage of the reach of her leg to connect with her attack first before Blair fist hit her as she attempt to use Blair own charge against her to spear her leg deeper into Blair guts

If Akumu kick connected, she would have quickly retracted her leg to avoid being grab by Blair. She learn her lesson hard enough, she won't be letting her guard down and underestimate her opponent endurance anytime soon "okay, I guess I should do it properly" She said softly toward her self as she would have turn around to face blair as she would have position herself low as she would have attempt to rush at Blair making it look like she going to tackle Blair to the ground before switching last second to jump up and send a knee straight toward Blair chin. If possible then she will make sure the dragon stay near the edge as much as possible, the more she limit her movement then surely it will be easier for her in the long run. All she could hope so is that her plan working smoothly and Blair don't destroy her plan before it can even started

Blair was fed up with people thinking that she was a joke - that went for the general public, her opponents, and the management alike. She had held championship titles in Muay Thai and MMA, and she was going to demonstrate why! Akumu's taunting and belittling had only served to stoke the fires of her anger, and it would only be a matter of time before all that anger exploded back at her. First, she snapped her arm around Akumu's throat to pull her into a chokehold - and, at the sight of it, a few fans burst into cheers, which only made Blair smile wider. For the first time in this match, she had actually managed to stand up to her opponent, and make her regret talking down to her!

Even if her efforts would prove short-lived - Akumu quickly shoved Blair up against the corner post, causing her legs to fall limp as her body reeled - the Little Dragon wasn't going to be taken down so easily. When she saw the idol running away from her, her teeth clenched and her brow furrowed as her eyes narrowed into a glare. Blair had already struck a blow against Akumu that proved she wasn't anyone to underestimate - now, she was going to follow on that momentum when she came charging in to hammer her fist into the purple-haired girl's back, cutting her escape short!

However, no matter how swiftly Blair made her move, Akumu was able to counter. She kicked her leg up behind her - and Blair came charging right into it! Moving as fast as she was, the Canadian didn't have time to slow down or change course. All of her momentum carried her forward into Akumu's foot, and the air was driven out of her lungs, causing her to sputter and gasp as she doubled over forward against her opponent's leg!

Blair's head was still spinning as a dull pain pounded through her midsection, and she hissed under her breath. Slowly, she began to push herself back upward, keeping a hand against her gut to try and shield it from further attack. When she looked up to see Akumu cocked and leaning in closer toward her, as if ready to take off in a charge, Blair went tense - her heels dug into the mat, and her eyes locked onto her opponent, readying herself for anything. At least, she thought she was ready. When Akumu began to charge ahead, Blair hopped back to put more distance between her and her opponent - only for Akumu's knee to cut through the air in an upward arc, catching her chin at the perfect moment!

With a cry of pain, Blair's head swung backward, a trail of saliva running behind it; several of the fans winced in sympathy for how much the blow had to hurt. Even as Blair's weight began to bow backward and her balance wavered, however, Blair wasn't going to go down. She reached out to grab onto Akumu's arm in an attempt to steady herself and stop herself from falling over - if she could do that, she'd pull herself higher and straighten her back, throwing a few swift punches into the idol's ribs from point-blank range!

When Akumu kick would have landed cleanly on Blair stomach, Akumu would have let out a smug grin as this is the second time that Akumu would have manage to catch Blair with the back kick of hers. Judging by how Blair reacted after receiving the kick of hers would have make her grin as she know that her kick is effective against the little dragon "aww is the little dragon get hurt by a tiny kick by an idol? Don't worry, more are coming soon" Akumu said tauntingly, She is playing with fire and she knew how dangerous it is, she already get burn by it just a few moment ago. It wouldn't be enough for her to stop though, she will keep it up, all for the wonderful prize that she will achieve at the end.

Not wanting to miss out the chance to further her advantage even more, Akumu would have charge ahead pretending to tackle Blair in the ground. From her research Blair despite her fighting prowess seems to be quite uncomfortable when taking the fight in the ground, so she was quite sure that she will take the bait as it should left Blair open enough so she wouldn't expect a knee that she will send straight toward the chin.

Things would have proceed according to plan as her knee would have landed cleanly at Blair chin that cause her opponent to cry out in pain as the impact of the move could be heard by the crowd as she let out a smug grin "aww it seem that the little dragon can't handle a bit of strike from a id-" Her taunt would have suddenly get cut off when Akumu suddenly felt Blair grab a hold on her arm and before Akumu could even react she would have received a punch straight toward her ribs it would have cause her to cry out in pain from the impact of the punch as Akumu would have stumble backward a bit, though she couldn't get too far with Blair grabbing a hold of her arm

Letting out a groan, Akumu will want to give Blair some payback as she would have pull suddenly on the arm that Blair is holding on to as if this is successful, Akumu would have send a knee straight toward Blair stomach. The exact same location where she hit Blair with her back kick twice previously. If the knee strike connected, Akumu would have send another two knee toward the exact same location, Akumu doing this in hope that if she able to manage to break Blair proud body then it will cause the little dragon to spiral down on her own. Afterall, she could bet that Blair will find it hamulating if an idol of all people break her body apart will strike. Turning Blair abs to tender will be a nice side objective for her to aim for

For as much as Blair had derided Akumu as just another clueless idol whose involvement in wrestling was little more than a publicity stunt, it was swiftly becoming apparent that the girl knew exactly what she was doing. Not only did she have a solid grip on the fundamentals of wrestling, she also knew full well that her image as an idol was going to lead to her opponents underestimating her - and she was going to exploit that very fact, getting in their heads and taunting them about it. But perhaps most relevant of all, she had clearly studied Blair, familiarizing herself with the Little Dragon's matches, her strengths and weaknesses, and the way she fought. She knew that Blair was in a class of her own when it came to stand-up striking, but was out of her element if taken to the ground. And now, her intentions were laser-focused on doing just that, denying her opponent of her greatest strength!

But Blair was starting to wise up to what she was doing, too - and the Muay Thai fighter wasn't about to let herself fall for her tricks. Rather than fall back against Akumu's assault, Blair would look to ground herself, grabbing onto her arm and using it as an anchor to steady herself as she whipped her fists out at her in all directions. The two of them were locked into a clinch now, and there was no way Akumu could avoid what Blair had in store for her - and Blair, too, was determined to make sure she got the lesson across!

However, everything came at a price. Blair might have locked Akumu into range of her blows, but the flip side of that was that she was just as much at her mercy - which Akumu began to demonstrate when she pulled Blair forward, into the path of a rising knee! Blair suddenly felt herself falling forward, and she let out a gasp only moments before Akumu's knee came down again and again! The bruise from the last blow she'd taken there was still fresh - and as Akumu struck, Blair cried out from the pain that surged through her body like an electric shock, her face growing red under the pressure!

But Blair wasn't about to let Akumu get away with this for long! She knew she couldn't take this sort of punishment much longer - and she had to do something! Hissing under her breath, she would move her hands to Akumu's shoulders, trying to shove at them to break the close quarters and force her to fall back! Hopefully, that could at least buy some time for Blair to catch her breath as she shook off the aches and pains. "GET...OFF!!"

When Akumu manage to pull blair toward her awaiting knee, Akumu would have let out a smirk as the fight is still under her control. She need to keep this up, the second she let her control slip then it will be big trouble for her...If Blair mind didn't regress like her result did, then she would have probably know what her plan and strategy are. If so then all she need to do is to keep on going and push her advantage as much as she can before the effect of it wore off completely "come on! come on! Where the confidence from before!? I thought this position is where you so excel at" Akumu would have taunted Blair. Even if Blair know what her plan is, it doesn't mean it wouldn't work. In fact it might be more effective this way.

Her thought would have cut off when she suddenly get push off by Blair as Akumu would have stumble backward as she would have widen her eye from shock before she began laughing "aww it seem it is the little dragon that can't handle a punch from a idol~~, Imagine running away from a idol debuting in a fight...how pathetic of you, are you that scared of a little knee from an idol?" Akumu would have let laugh as she would have blow out a kiss toward the crowd for fanservice as she would have strike a cute pose to make the fans on her side while taunting her opponent at the same time before rushing straight toward Blair as she would have attempt to make it obvious that she would have aim to send a knee toward Blair stomach once more to try to scare her opponent as it was only a fake as the last second Akumu would have jump up as she would have tried to wrap her leg around Blair head as she would have tried to lock her leg tightly on Blair neck

If this would Akumu would have successful, Akumu would have let out a smile as she would have began to shout to address the crowd "Everyone!!! let hope this dragon enjoy the Velvet airline flight! 1!! 2!!!" She would have shouted as if Blair did nothing to stop her, Akumu would have attempt to do a hurricanrana as she would have attempt to launch Blair into the mat, as if this is successful Akumu would have quickly transaction to attempt to hold Blair down in a headscissor hold as she was sure that her powerful thigh would prove deadly toward the martial artist.

With a burst of adrenaline taking hold, Blair shoved at Akumu as hard as she could - and with a surge of strength, born of her sheer will to get her stupid annoying voice out of her ears, she managed to knock the idol away from her. There she sank forward, clutching at her gut as she panted and groaned. Much as she would hate to admit it, Akumu had done a number on her, and her midsection still bore the bruises of her strikes. A tingling sensation ran through her as she touched her skin, causing her to hiss - this was going to sting in the morning, she knew that. And what would sting even more was the knowledge that she had let an idol do such damage to her.

But that was the part Akumu seized onto, even more than the opening Blair's wounds presented her. Blair looked back up to the sound of Akumu bursting out into laugher - and what she heard out of her mouth a moment later would just twist that knife. Akumu was mocking Blair, not just for how much she was struggling, but from the mere notion she would be this far behind the curve against an opponent who should have been easy pickings! It was as if every unwelcome thought that had slipped through Blair's head was now being echoed by Akumu herself - echoed, and rubbed right in her face! At first, the Canadian gasped, but then her teeth clenched in a snarl as her fist balled tighter at her side. Akumu wasn't even pretending to treat this match with any dignity any more, taunting her and playing to the crowd. Blair, though, was going to tell her what she thought of that!

When Akumu looked to send a knee toward Blair, it seemed just as much a taunt about how effective such tactics had been thus far as it was a genuine attack. But this time, the Muay Thai fighter was going to be ready. She kicked up a knee of her own, looking to deflect Akumu's blow with one of her own! It would have been an impressive maneuver on her part...if Akumu's knee had been any more than a feint. But just then, she pulled that leg back, while Blair's hung in midair before her. Blair was adjusting, but she was still one step behind!

In fact, Blair had only made things worse for herself, because when she took her foot off the ground, she left her stance unbalanced - something that Akumu could swoop in and take advantage of. She slung her leg around Blair's neck, and - in her usual flippant manner - catapulted her into the mat, hurling her to the ground! Blair landed with a thud, letting out a groan. "Do you...ever shut up-!?" she huffed - but then, Akumu would clamp her legs down even tighter into her head, transitioning into a headscissor!

Suddenly feeling the pressure come down around her temples, Blair's teeth clenched in a snarl. She twisted and turned, but she couldn't get Akumu to budge. But she wasn't about to let Akumu get the edge on her! She would attempt to throw her arm up and hook her elbow around the idol's leg, trying to flex her arm to force that leg outward and create more space between her head and Akumu's legs - enough so that she'd be able to move. If she could do that, she'd throw her head backward, going for a headbutt straight into Akumu's crotch! A low blow like this wasn't usually something Blair was willing to stoop to - but desperate times called for desperate measures, and she needed to do some damage!

Akumu would have let out a smirk as it seem even knowing about her strategy doesn't decrease the effectiveness of it toward Blair. She bet the way that she is acting right now would have make it seem that she is a living nightmare toward Blair. She will make sure that this nightmare that Blair experiencing wouldn't end anytime soon. The angrier Blair will get, the more frustrated she become, the more deeper that she will fall into the nightmare creating a endless painful loop for the dragon.

When she finish playing the crowd up, she would have charge at Blair faking a strike from her knee toward Blair stomach as she know that by making it obvious would have make Blair react to it...no Akumu was sure that no matter what happen, Blair will react to it. She knew that Blair will not want to eat her knee so quickly after they separated. Akumu would have think that Blair would do anything to avoid getting hit by her knee once more...Afterall if she take more of her knee then it will be humiliating for her if she fell to her knee from a idol attack.

This fake would have allowed her to trick Blair enough to wrap her leg around Blair neck as she would have launch the dragon into air to slam her back toward the ground hard as the crowd that Akumu rallied from before would have began to cheer Akumu on to continue her dominance over the match. "how about your try to shut me up yourself? oh wait! you can't!" She said laughing as she would have transition to a headscissor as she would have tighten the hold as she let out a laugh as she watch as Blair struggle and failing to make Akumu budge even the slightest "hey remember when you get humiliate by young lioness? how do you feel to be trap in the same position once more?" She said as she would have let out a annoying smirk as she continue to watch Blair struggle

When Blair try to flex her arm to try to force Akumu outward, Akumu would have responded by tightening the hold even more making it all the more difficult for Blair to try to escape, prolonging her suffering in the hold. However, no matter how much effort that Akumu put into tightening the scissor hold, after a while Blair would have been able to overpower her as Blair would have create just enough space to send a headbutt straight toward her crotch. The impact would have cause Akumu to scream as she would have reflectively loosen the hold as Akumu would have tried to roll away from blair as she would have holding on her crotch in pain as she could have been seen tearing up as this is something she did not expect. She thought for sure that Blair is someone that wouldn't do something this low, but it seem that Akumu would have push her so far that she become so desperate to attempt something as dirty as doing a low blow...that's it once she recover she will show no mercy toward the martial artist. Though whatever Blair would even let her recover would be a different story entirely
