For anyone passing by in a corridor, it would be impossible not to notice that the audience inside was particularly rowdy tonight. Not booing, nor cheering, but rather laughing instead. Well, some were cheering and clapping, but all rather out of amusement, as the ring was visited today by a very colorful and goofy personality.

Sierra Velvera, who went by a self-picked, fittingly amusing stage name "La Diablesa", was standing on the ring's corner post. Instead of awaiting her enemy ildly, she was interacting with the audience in her own way.

“Are you all being good little teddy bears for me tonight?!” she yelled, clasping her hands together with a giddy little wiggle. With some people in the crowd screaming back in affirmation, the girl gigglingly clutches her chest, swaying in place like they just melted her heart.

“¡Ay, tan preciosos! Look at you all, if I could, I’d just-" she throws her arms wide—“jump down there and hug each and every one of you!”

Then, suddenly, she straightens up, gasps again, and puts her hands on her hips, pouting playfully.

“Wait, wait, wait! Are any of my teddy bears cheering for my mean opponent tonight?!” she asks, squinting at the crowd, her nose scrunching up in a fake pout.

"Hmm? Let's hear it! Is any dumbass here to cheer for the Bengal?" Sierra leans over, and puts a hand to her own ear as if listening in. It was playful, but she was trying to be provocative, hoping to see her enemy's reaction.

As Bengal emerged from backstage, she stopped suddenly, scowling. She was in the L.A.W. arena, but this didn't seem like her typical entrance. Instead of stamping their feet to her music, or shrieking with surprise at her pyrotechnics, the fans were all focused squarely on her opponent, who was already in the ring. The small, blonde woman had mounted the turnbuckle, and appeared to be having a conversation with the entire crowd at once. She had a loud, piercing voice, and her pink-dyed bangs bobbed up and down as she talked incessantly. She didn't even look at Bengal as the Tiger continued forward, stalking down the entrance ramp toward the ring.

As it turned out, Sierra probably didn't need to worry about her fans cheering for Bengal instead. Only a few members of the rapt audience even noticed the Tiger's approach, and they responded with uniform boos. The Tiger bared her teeth at them and hissed, before climbing onto the apron vaulting into the ring. She stared her opponent down, taking in her sparkling brown eyes, her pouting lips and mischievous smile. She was shorter than Bengal, and more slightly built - an interesting change-up for the Tiger, who had fought larger opponents during her last few matches. Still, her toned muscles and confident posture made it clear that she wasn't someone to be taken lightly. The young woman had finally stopped chatting with the audience, just in time for the ring announcer to begin speaking:

"Ladies and gentlemen!" The amplified voice rang out, shaking the dust off the rafters overhead. "The following contest is a submission match, with no disqualifications! Introducing first...standing at a height of five feet, seven inches, and weighing in at one hundred and forty pounds...from Kolkata, India...THE BLAZE TIGER! BENGAL!" More boos. Bengal kept her face impassive, trying to conceal how angry she really was. When the referee gestured toward her opponent, however, the stands erupted in cheers, and the Tiger couldn't resist blowing out a puff of air in frustration. What is this, a goddamn beauty contest? They haven't even seen her fight yet, she griped to herself.

"And her opponent," the announcer continued. "Standing at a height of five feet, four inches, and weighing one hundred and thirteen pounds...from Marbella, Spain...LA DIABLESA! SIERRA! VELVERA!" The cheers swelled in volume, until it seemed like the roof of the arena might burst off from the sheer noise. It took a while before the excitement finally died down. Bengal took advantage of the lull to finally address her opponent.

"Let's get a few things straight," she spat, eyeing the young woman from her corner as she stretched against the ropes. "I don't care how 'mean' you think I am. And if you ever try to hug me, you'll be pulling back a couple of stumps. ¿Entiendes? " Bengal wasn't completely fluent in Spanish, but she had been tutored in various subjects during her childhood in India. She enjoyed throwing bits of other languages into her taunts, to get inside the heads of her opponent. She wasn't yet sure if that tactic would work here, though. This little loudmouth doesn't look like she has anything inside her head to begin with.

DING-DING-DING! At the sound of the opening bell, Bengal started forward. She crooked one of her sharp-nailed fingers toward her opponent, beckoning her closer, waiting to see if Sierra would rise to the bait. And if she does, I've got a little surprise for her...

With much to say back to her opponent, Sierra climbs down and stands in her corner. She lets out an audiable "Awww!" as the bell rings, signaling the beginning of first round, which will limit her immense talkativeness at least a tad bit.

Even with that, she can't containt herself from answering. Her eyes half lidded, and eyebrows narrowing give out her confusion.
"Stump...No entiendo lo que quieres decir...inglés, stump..." she mumbles to herself

"OH! I know what you mean! That's like ugly way of saying my hands! Like you're gonna rip my hands off my body? Haha, that's so funny, you're silly!" she waves her hand at Bengal dismissively, laughing at the concept of ripping somebody's arms off.

Sierra starts casually walking up to the ropes, not stopping talking at all.

"Ahh, it sucks you don't like hugs. People usually love getting hugs from me!"

With finishing the sentence, she eaps onto the middle rope, her boots landing with a light bounce before she propels herself high into the air, twisting her body with precision respectable for someone of her rather lacking experience, showing a certain je ne sais quoi in art of aerial attacks.

But it is a risky move to start off the match with! Sierra is hoping her opponent doesn't move in time, allowing her to throws herself forward, and crash down on Bengal with a diving crossbody, using her full weight and momentum to knock them right off their feet! She may not be very heavy, but if succesfull, the impact should be enough to throw her enemy off balance.

Bengal is starting to wish that she had worn ear plugs. Her opponent obviously has a terminal case of motormouth. But her bubbly, amused reaction to the Tiger's threat is even worse. It makes Bengal feel foolish for even trying to intimidate her in the first place. She can't tell if Sierra is being sincere, or just playing dumb to infuriate her. Flustered, she opens her mouth, trying to think of a clever retort - only for her opponent to surprise her with a diving crossbody from the middle rope!

Bengal tries to catch her opponent in midair, but she can't raise her arms fast enough. She loses her balance and pitches backward as Sierra crashes into her, carrying a surprising amount of force for such a petite woman. The aerial ambush is enough to take Bengal down, flattening her against the canvas and knocking the wind out of her. It's an embarrassing way for the Tiger to begin the match, and she knows it. The crowd is ecstatic over Sierra's success, popping even louder than they did during her entrance.

Bengal's anger is like a red-hot coal, burning a hole through her chest. "Get OFF me!" she snarls, driving up her knee into Sierra's ribs as the other woman lies perpendicular across her torso. Then she shoves her opponent roughly with both hands. Hopefully, she'll be strong enough to push the Spanish woman's small frame off her. If that works, she'll then kip back to her feet, where she'll be better able to deal with whatever else La Diablesa has in store.

Sierra let out a sharp gasp as the kick slammed into her ribs, the force making her tiny frame jolt. Before she could fully recover, her opponent’s hands pressed against her, shoving hard to knock her off.

"Ha, ha! You're handsy!" she quipped, and immediately grabbed her indian opponent's wrists. She rolled backward with the shove, with intention of planting her boots squarely against their stomach as she fell onto her back.

"Ghhyaaa!"

Sierra was about to push her legs and throw Bengal into the air in a Monkey Flip Reversal. Unless Bengal is able to act fast enough and stop her mid through, she's about to get flipped head over heels, her trip ending with a crash. down onto the mat. The spanish girl grinned her teeth in a smile, lifting her legs

Bengal's knee strike hit its mark, but her attempt to shove Sierra off her wasn't nearly as successful. In fact, it backfired spectacularly. The Spanish woman countered her with a perfect Monkey Flip Reversal, seizing the Tiger's wrists and using her own strength against her. Before Bengal even knew what was happening, she was suddenly upside down, her white hair whipping around her head like a snowstorm. She felt the soles of Sierra's booted feet plant into her abdomen, then suddenly push her away. Bengal was sent sailing through the air in an inverted position, eyes wide with shock.

It's said that cats always land on their feet. Unfortunately for Bengal, she didn't have the same talent. The Indian woman crashed down in a heap on her shoulders, tucking her head to try to roll through the impact as best as she could. Still, the throw had left her dizzy and bruised, and it would take her some time to rise. Deep down, she knew that La Diablesa would never give her that luxury. The Tiger tucked her arms around her head, trying desperately to defend herself while she recovered.
