Red in Tooth and Claw: Ashley Morgan VS. Bengal

Bengal snaked her limbs around Ashley's neck, but before she could execute her DDT, she felt the British woman's thick arms constricting her torso. The Red Menace wasn't as disoriented as she had seemed. She obviously hadn't appreciated being hit in the face - and judging by the sound of her voice, she was out for vengeance. The Tiger was lifted up and flipped upside down, before being slammed to the canvas by a furious Northern Lights Suplex! The impact sent her head spinning, and her blue eyes momentarily went crossed. She was starting to understand where her opponent got her colorful nickname from.

Ashley's flawless bridge put Bengal right on her shoulders, and the referee dropped down to begin the three-count: "One!" Several members of the crowd gasped, wondering if they were about to witness a shocking early finish - but the Tiger swiftly kicked out, before the official's palm could come down a second time. She somersaulted backward, breaking out of Ashley's grip and landing on her toned stomach. Moaning softly, she rolled over onto her back, her hands pressing gingerly into her face, as if she was checking for anything broken.

It looked like a stunning reversal in fortune for the Tiger - but in reality, she wasn't as hurt as she appeared. Bengal was playing possum, hoping to lure Ashley closer by acting helpless. She stole a glance through her fingers at her opponent, trying to determine what the other woman was planning next. The second that Ashley let her guard down, she was planning to spring her trap!

The sound of Bengal's body crashing down onto the canvas echoed through the arena. The move had been a success for the Englishwoman, but the impromptu pin was interrupted after the referee counted only up to one. The Tiger rapidly escaped from Ashley's grip. Still, a bit of a satisfied grin appeared on her face, the little Indian girl surely felt that one.

Ashley took a moment to recover before standing back up, she presented a faint limp as the effects of the low blow hadn't worn off yet. The redhead turned around and saw her opponent defenseless on the ground, both hands covering her face. She walked closer.

Standing next to a downed Bengal, a feeling all too familiar for Ashley began to take her over: Rage! This treacherous girl was starting to become a bigger problem than expected for the British Gal.

"You little...!" yelled an irate Ashley as she raised her foot, and decided to slam her heel right onto Bengal's bare mid-section.

Through half-open eyelids, Bengal watched as Ashley raised her foot, preparing to stomp her in the gut. But despite her current posture, the Tiger didn't plan to take this offense lying down. She'd already experienced the power of Ashley's legs once that night, and she had no desire to go through that again. It was time for a counterattack.

As the redhead's foot descended, Bengal suddenly sprang to life, grabbing the British brawler's ankle and twisting her leg into a dragon screw takedown. At the same time, she swung her own legs low across the canvas, sweeping Ashley's other foot out from under her. If her technique worked, Ashley would topple to the mat face-first, and Bengal would be able to transition into a single-leg Boston crab - one of her personal favorite submission holds.
