Reiko Hinomoto vs. Ms. Spencer - Refresher Course

As strange as it might have seemed, Muriel was uniquely suited to a match like this, unlike Reiko. While she cared little for the inherent titillation of such a bout, it did favor her more grounded style of wrestling in many ways. Mud wrestling put an emphasis on hold and grapples, which she was a deft hand at, and submissions were harder to escape without the ropes for an easy out. Maintaining a grip was the real challenge, but if she could manage that, she was confident that victory would be well within her grasp.

Figuratively speaking, at least.

In practice, however, Reiko remained elusive, rolling over before Muriel could lock in the hold and weakening her position. Instead of trying to lock in a suboptimal hold, the disciplinarian decided to go for something a little more novel - she had good legs, why not use them.

Muriel unfurled her arms in full, only to open her legs, wrap them around the woman’s waist, and attempted to crush her midsection with a bodyscissor, grinding hard on the ribs.

Rolling onto her side and splashing throughout the mud, Reiko managed to escape from the sleeper hold as Ms. Spencer deemed it worth too much trouble, The Zero Fighter thought she had time to begin grappling back against the Canadian Teacher. However, Ms. Spencer was level headed and didn't release the sleeper without a follow up plan, snatching Reiko's waist before she got too far away!

"Uwaaaahh!" Reiko cried out, throwing her head up as now all the pressure was around her stomach! She gritted her teeth, unable to catch a breath of fresh air after escaping her opponent's arms and was now trapped by the long legs!

Grabbing on the legs, particularly on to the ankles, Reiko tried to break free of the bodyscissors as she was forced to roll back onto her butt, seated in front of Ms. Spencer amongst the muddy sea as she tried to break her opponent's grip on her while her stamina continued to be drained, taking heavy hits in being trapped in strong sapping holds like this!

‘Like a greased pig’.

That peculiar metaphor came to Muriel’s mind as she struggled to keep Reiko under control, eventually posting up on her palms for increased control. To say the woman was slippery would be an understatement, and she was sure that she’d have an easier time grappling with an eel. The woman writhed this way and that, and while she was confident enough in her position for the time being, there was little to be gained from the current situation. She was doing damage, but couldn't apply the full brunt of her power.

A change of tactics, then. Muriel kept her foe grounded for a few moments more, before she abruptly changed tactics, releasing Reiko after a final squeeze. She reached under the woman’s armpits, clasped her fingers behind her neck in an tight grip, and proceeded to stand with her foe in toe, forcing her up into a standing Full Nelson, the perfect move to transition back to a vertical base with.

Working to break out of the body scissors and protect her core, Reiko grabbed onto the ankle of the Teacher in an attempt to pry herself free. She did not make much progress, even with a semi decent grip there was no leverage for her to fight against the long and powerful legs of Ms. Spencer! Her fortunes began to change as she was finally freed from the body scissors, a breath of relief coming out of her as now she was able to breathe easy.

But it was not by her own efforts that she was freed from the hold, caught in another one sprung on her by her veteran opponent! "Nnnnngh!" she let out, her arms quickly being pulled up and pinching her shoulder blades together caught in a Full Nelson!

"Aaaaaugh!" she groaned out again, forced to follow Ms. Spencer to her feet with the increase of pressure being applied to spine and arms as the pair rose out of the mud, her barely covered chest on fully display with the coating of wet earth on it!

The Full Nelson was proving to be a bit more effective than the bodyscissor was at wearing Reiko down, and easier to maintain as well. While her foe proved extremely squirrely, Muriel was able to form a competent S-lock with her fingers and secure the move well enough that there was a low chance of her arms slipping free. Muriel had her.

Now, what was she going to do with her?

[color=#80000]”A spirited effort, Ms. Hinamoto.”[/color] She gave the hold a good wrench, forcing Reiko into an uncomfortable angle, before she rapidly pulled her in the other direction, continually riding down her efforts, sapping her energy. ”But your cause is hopeless. Perhaps a submission is in your future?”

Of course, there was little chance of that happening - if Reiko was at all the woman she remembered, her determination was still legendary. But she felt obliged to at least throw the option before she resorted to more drastic measures.
