At the same time, a strong arm worked to at least weary the skilled teacher in the headlock, and while the redhead couldn't fool herself into believing she would send the lovely woman into a panic, she would take what she could get after the onslaught that had lost her the opportunity for the first fall.

Naturally, Muriel took the best way out, though Arlise supposed she should consider it the safest for her. Though frustration crossed her features, she didn't resist more than to clasp her fingers together and add a forceful squeeze to the teacher's head - if she would escape, she would not do so without the Belgian beauty punishing her for it. Otherwise, her legs unfolded as she stood, and she did not resist Muriel's effort to propel them against the ropes, offering one more tight squeeze before the woman used momentum to unhinge the redhead and propel her across the ring.

Arlise reiterated that to herself as she used Muriel's push to carry her across the ring - a reminder to keep in constant motion and remain a constant problem. Some part of Muriel felt she should’ve been working Arlise on the ground, that she should’ve stayed there and tried her hand at escaping while they were vertical, and there was some sense to that. After all, she had already scored a pinfall, which meant the onus was on her to win the match with more sensual tactics now, something she relished in attempting. It had been a good, long while since she’d had such a nubile young wrestler all to herself, and there were so many things she wished to attempt…

But, for the moment, she remained stalwart and stuck to her traditional tactics, figuring she would be better served wearing Arlise down to the nub before she attempted more lewd shenanigans. After all, her foe had proved ever so elusive in the first round, and even though she had taken the early fall, it was no sure thing. She had the advantage here and was already halfway to winning, so there was little need to rush thing.

Traditional grappling, then. Her escape from the headlock was tried and true, pushing Arlise off and sending her running to the ropes. She came running forward herself as her foe dashed towards her, and she could already see her preparing for an attack - a big boot, her experience told her. Muriel ducked down at the last second and let the deadly blow soar overhead, as she continued her forward momentum, building up speed with every step.

Muriel hit the ropes and came rushing towards Arlise once more, ready to meet in the middle of the ring. This time, she had an attack of her own to try, as she spun about, swung her arm around, and attempted to nail her foe with a Discus Lariat, right on her chest.

Arlise would have adored the sensation of her foot powering through Muriel's sturdy form. She would have the advantage. She could have leaped on her and used every ounce of remaining energy to keep the woman downed, at a disadvantage, and unable to rise until the Belgian beauty had her submitting to whatever hold crossed through her clever mind.

Unfortunately, she whiffed, and the follow-through left her leaning on the toes of her swinging foot with nothing to show for it. Though she did grunt a complaint under her breath, she didn't let the miss rattle her, and as soon as she had peeked over her shoulder, red hair whipping into her face as she did, and saw - and heard - that Muriel had rushed toward the opposite side of the ring, the Belgian darted toward the ropes on her side of the ring so the teacher would not catch up to her.

She had a meager advantage in foot speed, so as she rebounded off the ropes, they met near the middle of the ring again, but the redhead caught one small shift in Muriel's feet that informed her how that meeting should go. As Muriel spun into the lariat, Arlise slowed, bent her knees, and reached for the oncoming arm. She did so in time to stop the lariat's momentum, and she shifted behind Muriel with the woman's arm hooked in hers.

As she crossed behind, the redhead jumped and swung a leg high. Her thighs caught her opponent's opposite arm, and Arlise whipped her body to bring her down with a crucifix driver.

That had been a close brush with disaster, and Muriel was keenly aware of it. While Arlise was no muscular bruiser, she had a pair of dangerously long legs, and if she had connected with that boot, Muriel would no doubt find herself on the floor, perhaps with one or two fewer teeth. She had only managed to see it coming thanks to her experience - she would have to thank Dixie Clemets for nailing her with that move far more often than she would’ve liked.

She was free and in the clear now and ready to meet her foe again, this time with her taking the initiative. The discus lariat seemed reasonable - fast, powerful, unorthodox but not ineffective. The move would surely send Arlise reeling if it hit.

She thought the surprise might work in her favor, but she was stunned when Arlise managed to avoid the attack anyway, leaving her off-kilter for a crucial moment. She struggled to right herself before her foe could take advantage, but it was too late - Arlise was already grabbing her arm and swinging around her like a monkey on a tree. Those fearsome legs snagged her arm, she was pulled back, and gravity handled the rest.

The Crucifix Bomb dropped Muriel right on the back of her neck, sending a shock down her spine. She rolled away, popped to her feet for a moment, bounced off the ropes, then fell forward, flat on her face, arms splayed and hair mussed. Hardly a flattering position.
