Bengal entered the arena first, throwing mock punches to the beat of the drums in her entrance theme. She was wearing her black-and-orange top and trunks, along with tiger-striped boots. Her shiny vinyl gloves were a match for the color of her sharpened nails, and her headband was adorned with velvet cat ears.

In addition to her usual outfit, she was wearing her typical cocky expression - but that was just a facade, to hide her nervousness. Deep down, she'd been badly rattled by her recent defeats. The competition here in L.A.W. truly was a different class altogether. Even though she'd managed to make a full recovery from her last bout, it had taken her so long that she still felt underprepared. She hadn't had time to find out anything about her opponent. All she knew was that she was scheduled for a submission match, she was facing a fellow middleweight, and her opponent was some kind of...Panty Pirate? Bengal shuddered inwardly; after her loss to Fuse Kiyoko, the last thing she wanted to think about was someone else playing with her panties. She can't be that tough. I won't give her the chance, she vowed to herself.

A burst of pyrotechnics went off around her, breaking her out of her reverie. Bengal pushed a strand of dark hair out from in front of her orange eyes, regaining her focus. If she wanted to win, she had to focus on the present, not her panties. She strutted down to the ring, then hopped up onto the apron. She took a moment to hang on the ropes, throwing back her head and kicking out one of her muscular legs, teeth bared in a feline grin. Then she vaulted over the top rope and took her position in the corner, as the announcer's voice boomed out over the arena speakers:

"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a Submission Match! Introducing first...standing at a height of five foot, seven inches, and weighing in at one hundred and forty pounds...from Kolkata, India...THE BLAZE TIGER! BENGAL!" The response from the crowd was an even mix of cheers and boos. A group of fans standing a little too close to the ring jeered loudly, and Bengal whirled, hissing at them as they recoiled in unison. Then she straightened and stretched her toned arms, waiting for her opponent to reveal herself.

The arena plunges into darkness, the crash of waves reverberating through the air, mingling with the distant cries of seagulls. An energetic sea shanty bursts to life, and Scurvy the Pirate emerges onto the entrance ramp, her sly grin illuminated as she bounced down the ramp. To Scurvy, the identity of her opponent is as trivial as a droplet in the vast ocean. Her eyes gleam with mischievous confidence as she pauses at the edge of the ring, scanning the crowd and soaking in the adulation. It doesn't matter if it’s a ferocious tiger or a helpless guppy in her path; her fate is sealed—Begal's undergarments be another "treasure" waiting to be claimed.

Sliding into the ring with a practiced ease, Scurvy knowing smirk spreads across her face as she leans against the ropes, addressing the crowd with a booming voice dripping with mockery. "Who be foolish enough to step into my waters tonight?" She lets the moment hang, her grin widening as she zeroes in on her foe. "Bengal, eh. Let’s see 'ow long ye last before ye be beggin' for mercy!" With a flourish, she tosses her cutlass to the corner and removes her coat, ready to dive headfirst into the fight with her unshakable swagger.

Bengal can't help but smirk when she hears her opponent speak. She's heard rumors about a "Panty Pirate", but she hadn't expected Scurvy to be quite so...theatrical. At least she looks the part, with her sun-bronzed skin and wild silver hair. Cool entrance theme, too. But her exaggerated accent makes it impossible to take her seriously.

If Bengal was a wiser, humbler person, this might be the point where she reminds herself that first impressions can be deceiving. Even a wrestler who enjoys playing to the crowd can make for a fierce opponent when provoked. But the Tiger has never been one to think before opening her mouth. In the brief interlude before the opening bell rings, she can't resist a little trash talk.

"I 'be beggin' you to stop that terrible pirate impression," she sneers, locking her dark orange eyes with Scurvy's verdant green ones. "You might wish you'd kept that sword on you, when I start kicking your ass."

DING-DING-DING! The opening bell cuts in, just as she finishes her taunt. Bengal begins stalking forward, arms raised to guard her face, waiting to see how her opponent will react.

Scurvy’s grin widens into a devilish smirk as Bengal mocks her accent. She places a hand on her hip, tilting her head as if she’s about to scold a naughty cabin boy. “Fake, ye say?!” she bellows, her voice dripping with mock indignation. “This be thee voice o’ the seven seas, ye bilge-suckin’, barnacle-brained landlubber! A voice that’s weathered storms, an’ sent many a scurvy dog like yerself to davey's locker! An’ fer insultin’ it, I’ll be makin’ ye regret ever steppin’ foot in me ring! Ye’ll be beggin’ fer mercy by the time I’m done with ye, ye mangy feline, an’ I’ll be claimin’ yer undergarments as me rightful treasure!”

With that, Scurvy suddenly dashes forward, her boots pounding against the mat like the thunder of cannonfire, as she charges at Bengal with a running elbow smash, her arm cocked back like a loaded cannon, aimed straight for the Tiger’s jaw! She locked to knock the girl off her feet with the quick attack, looking to follow it up with a jumping knee drop to start off the match early with some offence!

Bengal's nostrils flare angrily. She isn't sure what a "bilge" is, though she has the distinct impression that she's just been insulted. The barrage of pirate slang is a bit overwhelming, but she does catch the part about Scurvy claiming her panties as "treasure". Well, turnabout is fair play, she thinks to herself, amused. The Tiger is satisfied with the undergarments she currently owns, but maybe there's something else she can take as a trophy when she wins here tonight. Like that eyepatch; she's always wondered how she would look wearing one of those.

"You'll be claiming a bunch of hospital bills," she scoffs. "I'll do you a favor, though, and just buy you some new underwear. You look like you need it-"

Before she can continue her put-down, Bengal is taken aback as Scurvy suddenly rushes forward, faster than a ship at full sail. She's able to dodge backward at the last second, ducking her head to avoid the surprise attack. She can feel the rush of air as the Pirate's elbow flickers past her face, just barely missing. She staggers for a moment, but remains on her feet. That was close. If she'd connected... Her opponent might talk like a theme park ride, but the way she fights is deadly serious. Bengal can't give her another opening; she has to strike back now.

She twists her hips and thrusts out her leg, aiming a snap kick at Scurvy's midsection. If she's successful, it will force her opponent back, and hopefully knock a little of the wind out of her sails. Let's see how fast she is then, Bengal thinks, as she drives her heel toward the Pirate's toned stomach.

Scurvy would come flying in attempting to get the upperhand early, but Bengal wasn't gonna make it easy for her! Scurvy’s momentum carried her forward as her elbow narrowly missed Bengal’s jaw, the force of her attack causing her to pivot slightly off-balance. But before she was able to spin around to attempt another attempt, Begal would hit her with a kick to the stomach, her heel driving into her belly, causing her to backpedal away, wincing in pain. Scurvy’s sly grin faltered for just a moment, but it’s quickly returned as she clutched the ropes, brushing off the impact with a dramatic hair whip, as if the kick were nothing more than a gentle breeze, even though it did hurt.

“Is that all ye got, ya overgrown housecat?” Scurvy taunts, dripping with bravado despite the pain she was in after that kick. “Ye’ll need more than a love tap to take down me!” She rolls her shoulders, attempting to think of a rebound attempt, possibly involving a rebound off the ropes!

Scurvy's bravado is getting on Bengal's nerves. She put quite a bit of force into that kick; she doesn't appreciate it being called a "love tap". Still, with her keen instinct, the Tiger immediately notices the way her opponent's smile disappears for a moment after the impact. She's acting like she's not hurt, Bengal thinks to herself. But if I can keep up the pressure, she'll break. Maybe then, she'll drop that ridiculous accent too!

She can hear Scurvy taunting her, bragging about the hits she can take. More importantly, she can see the Pirate rolling her muscular shoulders, clearly readying herself for some kind of follow-up move. She needs to act before that can happen.

"How's THIS for a love tap?" Bengal snarls, pouncing forward with her arm stretched perpendicular to her body. She's trying to clothesline Scurvy over the top rope! If the move succeeds, her opponent could get sent tumbling to the floor, risking a loss by count-out. But it's a risky maneuver. With how fast Bengal is moving, her momentum might accidentally carry her over the ropes if the Pirate is able to dodge out of the way. The Tiger is counting on her superior speed, but will her bet pay off?

Scurvy’s sharp eyes and Bengals clear annoyance lead to the pirate seeing the cat's next move from a mile away, as Bengal lunged forward, her arm outstretched for the clothesline, Scurvy quickly ducked, Bengal’s arm sails harmlessly over Scurvy’s head, as the pirate looked to trip her up, and the Tiger’s momentum carries her straight into the middle rope. She crashes into it chest-first, the ropes snapping back and sending her stumbling awkwardly, her balance completely thrown. Scurvy looked to keep her momentum before sprinting back toward Bengal. She then looked to hopefully leap into the air, hopefully looking to land on the girl, twisting her body to deliver a running hip drop directly onto the back of Bengal’s head. The impact is brutal, driving the Tiger’s chest and neck into the ropes and leaving her dazed. But if it worked, Scurvy wasn't done. She doesn’t let up for a moment, bouncing on Bengal’s back and shoulders, sitting on her head and using her weight to press the Tiger’s throat against the top rope.

“Arrr, ye look a bit red in the face, lass!” Scurvy cackles, her voice dripping with mock concern as she adjusts her eyepatch with one hand, the other gesturing grandly to the crowd. “Mayhaps ye should’ve thought twice before messin’ with the Panty Pirate! Now, be a good kitty an’ tap out, or I’ll be keepin’ ye here all night!” Obviously a tap out wouldn't count, and this was clearly just Scurvy trying to mock Bengal more, as the referee would start to count the pirate down to let Bengal go, but all things considered it felt like years for Bengal as she got choked on the ropes!

Scurvy dodges out of the way at the last moment, and Bengal's clothesline misses completely. She sails past her target and rebounds off the ropes, stumbling as she tries to regain her balance. Before she can manage that, her opponent pounces on her shoulders from behind, slamming her throat onto the ropes. Bengal chokes and sputters as the the elastic fabric digs into her jugular. Scurvy continues riding on top of her, pressing her down like a tidal wave crashing onto a beach. Through the gap between the ropes, she can see the crowd cheering on the Pirate's theatrics. Tasteless idiots, she thinks bitterly to herself.

She hears the referee behind her, counting down for a rope break. But Bengal doesn't want to wait it out. Her opponent's taunts have enraged her, and she's ready to strike back now. "I am so sick...of everyone...calling me kitty!" she pants. She plants her feet, then straightens her legs, powering Scurvy high into the air on her shoulders. Bengal can feel her opponent's sweat-slick thighs pressed against the sides of her head, as she takes a few careful steps backward. If everything goes as planned, she'll drop the Pirate into an electric chair facebuster, flattening her against the canvas!
