To Alex, being a wrestler had many benefits, especially fighting cool opponents, heck wrestling is how she met the coolest person she had ever met in her life Chloe Braden, who she is now tag partners (and secret girlfriends) with. Though with Chloe’s rise to popularity, Alex had found herself at the wayside more often then most, something that she would have to change herself, she was not one to complain.

And when she heard she was going to be booked in a match with someone known as the Punk Princess, she had to take it, knowing that this lady had a chance to be extremely cool, and if she could beat her, the profile of herself could only rise into being the coolest wrestler LAW had ever seen.

Alex was in her locker room, doing some basic arm and leg stretches before her match was about to start, knowing that those limbs would have to be as limber and ready to go as possible if she wanted to beat her opponent and win the match. Her gear was on, her hair was ready, her muscles was on display, and she was ready to go. So when the LAW official knocked on the door, she was ready to answer and let them know that she was ready for the match.

Alex would then head out to the stage, ready for her entrance.

The women from Green Bay, Wisconsin came out to purple lighting and a nice response from the crowd, before marching her way down to the ring, slapping hands with some fans as she walked down the ramp. She walked up the steel steps and between the middle and top rope to enter the ring, before heading to the center of the ring and doing a wolf howl.

She then headed to her corner of the ring, as she waited for her opponent to come out.

Katsumi got word of her next match in the form of a text message from management: the Punk Princess vs. the Cool Werewolf. She stared long and hard at the screen, her brow troubled, lips twisted in a sidelong skew of disbelief.

The cool werewolf.

The.

Cool.

Werewolf.

"The fuck is this gaijin about?," puzzled Katsumi aloud in the middle of a clothing outlet. She suddenly had several random people eyeing her. "Sounds like I'm gonna be wrestling goddamn Poochie from the Simpsons. What even."

Fastforward to tonight. Katsumi is in the gorilla position, listening to her opponent's entrance sequence and with her mind miles away. She's thinking about her approach, giving herself a mental once-over, last-minute details - she's opting into her more bombastic entrance this evening. Aside her gold-studded bralet, trunks, boots, pads, gloves, and deceptively girlish heart choker, she's sporting her leather jacket with sunglasses perched neatly upon her button nose.

The howl from the ring brings her back to attention, and earns a small, subtle smirk. Not in mockery, but amusement. She likes people with personality. And anyone willing to howl in front of an audience has to be at least a little fun, right? She suddenly finds herself wishing she'd snuck a peek at her opponent before bell-time, but it's too late now!

The lights dim down in the arena. Low, low, low, fading until the stadium is a sea of velvety black speckled with the rapid and intermittent flash of camera phones. Then, the heavy strums of an electric guitar begin to pump from the speakers, and an array of vivid green and purple laserlights dance along the perimeter of the stage and ramp entrance.
Katsumi's Sizzle Reel
The feline eyes amidst a murky black wash of Katsumi's logo fades in slowly against a dark, foreboding night sky. And suddenly, the sizzle reel kicks in with the crescendo of music, and Katsumi races out into view, hailed with an erupt of deep purple cold sparks. Bright, confident smile plays on her youthful face, her arms raised and stepping into a quick spin. Then, she angles herself to dramatically point towards the ring, singling out her opponent for the evening - followed by a slow, ominous shake of her head.

Her reception is mixed between cheer and scorn, but it's loud. Not a sole spectator in the arena can be found without a strong opinion of the girl one way or another. Some love her for her brand of brutality, for the confidence and cockiness in the face of all adversity, for the ferocity, or simply for her uncharacteristically pretty face, long, silky hair, and sleekly trim body. Others, meanwhile, vocally deride her for cruelty, rule-breaking, or uncouth manner. Regardless, the white noise of the stadium is fully encompassing and inescapable.

Not to mention energizing and delicious. Love or hate, Katsumi thrives on it all. To her, it's pure energy.

"And her opponent!," begins the announcer. "Standing at a height of five feet, seven inches, and weighing in at one hundred and twenty-four pounds! From Osaka, Japan! The Punk Princess! KATSUUUMIIIII! OOOOSHIIIROOOO~!"

Then she's off! An arrogant strut if ever there was one, hips sashaying. Her arms raise with palms turned out to either side of the aisle to all at once both acknowledge and ward back the general audience in an aloof display. Upon reaching the steps leading into the ring, she ascends with a spirited trot and steps onto the ring apron with a whirl, her back against the ropes and facing the crowd.

She presents a pair of fists. One slowly cranks in a circular motion, gradually elevating... a middle finger to the crowd and cameras. "Muah," she air-kisses. Naturally, this only raises the response in both directions.

Arching her body back over the top rope, Katsumi languidly tumbles over to land neatly upon her boots within the ring. Without missing a beat, she dashes for the far corner of the ring, scampering up the ropes of the turnbuckle with a squirrel-like alacrity, and tosses her arms wide to either side, presenting herself to the roaring crowd.

Finally, she drops from her perch and lands on the mat with a small bounce. Her head turns to look over her shoulder, pinching the corner of her shades to tug them down just enough to finally get a look across at Alex.

Big blue eyes. Short, tomboyish blonde hair. Fair skin. Pretty face. Really nice body, and with just the right approach to wrestling gear style and trim. And gorgeous color choices. This was not what she was expecting. Not by a longshot. The claw-style marks on her gear is a cool touch.

Ah, dammit. She catches herself thinking 'cool' when she sees her. She really wanted to call this girl cringe, but now she can't. It won't stop her from her usual brand of having fun with her, though!

In a sudden flourish, the jacket is whirled off of Katsumi's frame, the sunglasses smoothly slipped into an inner-pocket, and the garment is deposited outside to the ring apron. As it flutters to touch down, Katsumi has finished her turn-about to face Alex, fist propped to her hip, hip cocked, athletically slender figure on display with a wry, pearly smile on her face.
Katsumi Oshiro
She starts forward just as the referee approaches, and she quickly splays her palm in the girl's face to silence her protests before she even makes them. Her vibrant emerald gaze remains unbroken on Alex, the sole recipient of her attention at the moment. She wants the test the waters with her, see how she acts, or rather, reacts to some funnin' around. She doesn't want any interruptions, even from the referee.

"Y'know, I had no idea what to expect when they told me my opponent would be a 'Cool Werewolf'," she begins. "I was worried you'd turn out to be frickin' Michael J. Fox on a skateboard."

Alex finally got a good look at her opponent Katsumi, and damn the name punk princess really did fit her with that all black fit. Girl looked like at she hanged out with the cool kids club at the local Spencers. This would definitely be an opponent to see if she could match Alex in terms of how cool she was.

However Alex was a little caught off guard with that comment, she could not tell if that was an insult or not, but she knew she had to reply to Katsumi or else she would come off horribly.

“Well girl one, I had never watched one of his films, and two, I ride a two person moped, not a skateboard.” Alex said with confidence, puffing out her chest like it’s a sign of pride.

“But other than that, you look like you came straight out of Spencers, and that’s pretty cool.” Alex said, giving a thumbs up before getting in a grappling stance. “Now let’s fight!” Alex said as she waited for the bell to ring so she could wrestle Katsumi.

"Bruh," says Katsumi with a little slouch to her shoulders. There's so much disappointment packaged in that mono-syllabic response. Alex has never seen a Michael J. Fox movie? She's the cool werewolf, and has never seen Teen Wolf? "Okay, if you turn out to not suck total butt? I'm fixing that." After a beat, she crinkles her nose. "And we'll take my car. Not a moped."

She isn't entirely sure what a moped is; her mind immediately conjures images of European scooters. Or mobility scooters. Basically, the only thing she doesn't think of is a pseudo-motorcycle. But this is on her for her limited automotive awareness.

Her gaze dips briefly, checking out the blonde and her attire. She really digs the classic approach to wrestling. There's something so appealing about an uncomplicated look, the classic brief-style trunks, sportsbra-style top, and boots. It reminds her of the women she saw wrestle when she was younger; when she first fell in love with the sport.

Oh, wait. She said Spencer's. Who's Spencer? Spencer sounds like a nerd name. Why would someone expect her to have the esoteric knowledge of this mysterious Spencer- ohhhh. Right. The store. God, she was bluescreening right there in front of her. But she doesn't have enough time to be embarrassed by that! Alex just said it's cool! And Katsumi has just no idea how to respond.

Visibly flat-footed by the compliment, Katsumi can only glance away briefly as she attempts to come up with something. And self-aware in her failure to manage her train of thoughts quickly enough to quip back, her gaze returns to Alex with a shyly flattered smile and little dip of her head. It's uncharacteristic for the Punk Princess, but people just don't compliment her. It's rare. Especially when she was ready to ride this chick on her evident corniness.

The moment is ruined by the mousy referee interjecting herself between them, waving an arm in front of the punkette's face. "Hey! Don't ignore me! Back up!"

With a blink, Katsumi shuffles back a few steps.

"Now then!" The referee raises an arm, glances to either combatant, and decides to just go for it. With a chop, she calls, "Wrestle!"

*DING*

The sound of the bell snaps Katsumi into focus, her gaze sharpening on Alex. Her posture widens, hands raising at the ready as skipping steps bring her to circle with the blonde, studying her posture. Finally, Katsumi closes in with a quick few steps, aiming to lock up with the other girl, one hand seizing for her collar near the base of her neck while the other seeks the elbow in a classic tie-up.
