For Seline, getting booked in a singles match was a rarity in her LAW career. She had mostly known for competing in Tag Team Matches with reigning Lightweight Champion Annie Clark, someone who gave her the confidence to stand out more, and not be as timid as she was when they met at that independent show at Seline’s native hometown of Dallas, Texas. She had a singles match, a dominant performance against Ella Albright, though no one gave her too much credit for beating someone like her and wanted her to face competition at a higher level.
Luckily for her, she got booked in a match against a fellow up and comer in Charlotte Fleury, and someone who was also in a tag team just like her. This put a smile on her face, she was basically fighting someone just like her and in a similar position as her. This was her chance to prove she could stand on her own without Annie, as much as she is thankful for Annie, she could handle herself in the ring.
Seline was busy checking her gear, tying the laces on her frilly red boots, making sure her miniskirt was fastened, her wrestling bikini would hold itself in place, and that her sleeves were properly fastened. Soon enough, the LAW official would come knocking on the door, letting her know that her match was about to begin and that her opponent was already in the ring. Seline responded with
“I’ll be there any second!” before the pink haired powerhouse headed out to the ring.
Pink lighting filled the arena as Seline came out to loud cheers from the audience. A smile on her face, Seline walked down to the ring at a brisk pace, slapping hands with the fans who wanted her to. She eventually walked up the steel steps, before entering the ring between the middle and bottom rope and went to her corner and got on the middle rope, then raising her arms as a pose to get the crowd cheering for her as the music stopped and she looked towards her opponent.
Seline looked at Charlotte, thinking she looked rather friendly. Turns out they may had been more similar then she realized, as they both had pink hair and not so different builds. Seline decided she should go for a handshake.
Seline then walked to the middle of the ring and held out her hand and gave herself a warming introduction.
“Hello Miss Fleury, my name is Seline Rockshaw and it would be a pleasure to be your opponent tonight.” Seine said, holding back on her Texas accent, something she could control a lot better compared to Annie’s southern drawl. She waited for Charlotte’s response, wondering if her demeanor was real or a façade.
