Standard Match

Touka's music played, bringing the 47 year old fighter out for another match. She'd had a few matches this year and was getting ready for another big one at Turning Point, in the meantime she had to shift focus to keeping a stellar record to see if it was possible for her to get in line for a title match in the future. It didn't seem possible when she started but after improving and even beating former champions she had to at least give it a try. She came down to the ring shaking hands with that mindset, the time to see just how far she could go had to start soon since she didn't have much time left.

Touka entered the ring and smiled while waving at the crowd, she picked up a lot of fans from her matches. But she had to admit sometimes the fans she picked up concerned her, they really liked it when Touka was...a little too aggressive for her liking. Something about her dominating people got them interested and while Touka appreciated the support, it wasn't really the kind of thing she was sure she should be doing on a regular basis unless the person deserved it like Lydia. She hoped that this match would be more to her liking and offer an opponent who was fair and fun.

Alicia Cromwell got to have a match tonight, and the person she would be facing would be Touka Akan. She was pretty well-known here, especially due to the fact that she actually started wrestling when she was much older, at least compared to most wrestlers here. And she was also the mother of the famous Kyoko Akan. And not to mention that the mature woman was pretty much a treat to the eyes. Alicia was looking forward to meet her in the ring.

Making her entrance, Alicia energetically jogged down the ramp as her music was playing. As always, she got mixed reactions from the audience, though they were mostly cheers due to her exuberant disposition. Smiling cheerfully, she made her way to the ring where her opponent was waiting for her. Arriving at the ring, she posed cutely next to the apron before she slipped under the ropes, entering the ring before popping back up to her feet, raising her arms in a whoop.

"Hey, hey!" Alicia spoke to Touka, still smiling. "Nice to meet'cha! I'm Alicia! I've heard a lot about you! Big fan!" Alicia energetically spoke to Touka, clearly enjoying the fact that she would be facing the mature woman. Well, whatever she would be doing to her would be a different matter, but for now, Alicia was in full fangirl mode.

After her entrance came her opponent, Touka was kind of in the dark about the kind of opponent she was, only getting a name Alicia both from the name on the announcement and the announcer addressing her as such. Besides that all she saw was a smiling blonde who looked happy to have a chance to wrestle. Touka smiled at this thinking it could be a fun and competitive match, of course she wanted to make sure it was fun for her by winning too. Alica's bubbly demeanor was met with a smile and an offer of a handshake while Alicia introduced herself and admitted she was a big fan of hers. Touka was a bit nervous to ask what she was a fan of considering the different sides of the fans Touka usually met.

"I'm honored to meet a fan as pretty as you, still out of common courtesy let me formally introduce myself as Touka. I feel bad that I haven't been able to learn about you, but I do hope to learn." Touka admitted, seeing if Alicia accepted her handshake. Then she'd stand at the ready waiting for the bell to ring but still open to talking until it did, maybe even after it did since she didn't mind conversation.

When Touka offered her a handshake, Alicia eagerly took it, happily shaking hands with the older woman. When Touka called her pretty, Alicia's expression brightens. "EEEEEEEE!!!" She bounced happily, clearly pleased that she got to meet Touka. Sure, Touka might not be a veteran in the industry, but she still had a big star power, and plus, she was pretty. A girl couldn't help but feel happy, after all.

"I promise, you'll get to learn more about me in this match!" Alicia told Touka. And so, she would wait for the bell to be rung. Still feeling the rush of excitement, Alicia hopped and bounced on the balls of her feet, getting herself psyched up for this match.

Soon, the match would begin as the referee called for both Alicia and Touka. Taking her place, Alicia looked straight at the older woman, a smile still on her face. Then, as soon as the bell was rung, Alicia would immediately make her move. Rather than starting the match with a lock up, the blonde would launch herself towards Touka, throwing a vicious punch aimed at Touka's cheek.

All while having a bright smile on her face.

Alicia continued to act giddy, enough to make Touka laugh with her in excitement. She loved this kind of enthusiasm and as flattered to see her act like such a fan. She almost didn't think she was worth the praise, but how could she downplay it when Alicia was so excited? Touka didn't think her playing humble mattered to Alicia even if that was how she truly felt about most of her success. She was more interested in learning about Alicia. "Can't wait." Touka said honestly backing away so that she could start the match. She stepped in again when the bell rang, only this time Alicia greeted her with an abrupt punch to the face.

"Owww!" Touka screamed, surprised that she'd taken a punch that quickly, and a powerful one that almost made her fall over. Touka's hand went to her face and she looked at Alicia with shock, but the blonde was just smiling away. Maybe it was because her head was spinning but something looked sinister about that smile. "That's what I get for dropping my guard I guess, clean hit." Touka joked. So Alicia wasn't afraid to start anyway she wanted, Touka would have to be more careful from now on.

Alicia's punch landed right on Touka's cheek, and she kept on smiling as she would prepare her next move. Closing in, Alicia would grab Touka's right arm, planning to give it a twist. Subjecting the older woman to a wrist lock, she would then quickly transition it into a hammerlock, bringing her hand right on her back, applying pressure on her shoulder.

"Yep! You ought to be careful around me! I tend to go pretty rough!" Alicia said cheerfully as she would continue applying pressure into the hammerlock on Touka's arm.

Touka was a little surprised, but she told herself to be more careful and to not make assumptions about people's styles. Alicia wasn't wasting time, grabbing her wrist and pulling it into a hammerlock to get behind her, warning Touka to be more careful. A lesson that Touka was starting to see value in with Alicia. "Nggh.." Touka groaned feeling the hammerlock get tighter and bend her arm further and further up while she tried to shift her body to adjust to the painful position.

She kept going and attempted to turn anywhere that would alleviate the pain of the hold while her foot would reach out and attempt to lock itself around Alicia's own leg, then when she went to turn and fight the hold she tried to use her hook to trip Alicia up and try to throw her off balance to help herself escape.

Holding Touka in the hammerlock, Alicia hummed happily as she would continue applying pressure into the hold. But she was unaware of her opponent moving her leg around hers, and when Touka used her own leg to trip her, Alicia's eyes widened as she was thrown off-balance.

"Wuah!"

Alicia yelped as she was forced to relinquish the hammerlock so that she could regain her balance. She staggered a few steps back before regaining her balance. But due to this, she lost her hold on Touka, having relinquished the hammerlock.

Touka tripping Alicia didn't make her fall over, but when she stumbled Touka did get her chance to get free, taking it and slipping away from the younger girl while she tried to recover. This time Touka wouldn't give her the chance to set things up or pace the match her way, the Matriarch would go right for her opponent and try to grab her arm and pull her in close to knee her sides. Then she would circle in around her and take her arm placing it behind Alicia and grabbing it in a chicken wing.

"Seen this one before?" Touka asked before leaning back and grabbing Alcia's chin to try and use a cross face chicken wing to shake Alicia around and get some payback for the hammerlock. Holding her would be a pain, but Touka knew she was strong enough to milk this for a little bit.
