Kaiju Scales The Mountain: Akira vs Ionel

Japan vs America bikini theme
Victory by hentai, loss of abdominal muscle tension from belly to belly stress/arousal, submission, KO, or tap-out.

When someone thought of "mismatch", they thought typically of a heavyweight and a lightweight - opposite ends of a spectrum. It wasn't synoymous with squash (whether figuratively or literal) but it was hard not to find those connotations present. A strong visual, physical, and stylistic contrast sold a match entirely on a first impression whether it would be David vs Goliath or a torture session.

As Ionel reflected on this, strolling down the ramp in the sort of tacky American flag bikini that looked like it belonged in on some 80's VHS promotional segment, she thought of how she could be mismatched against a near 200 pound, 6'3'' woman.

It wasn't an asymmetrical squash. Akira was gigantic but she was Godzilla going up against a veritable mountain range.

There were heavyweights, then there were heavyweights, and with her being a little over a hundred pounds heavier Ionel certainly looked the part. That annoyingly cocky swagger was rogueish on one hand and unquestionable on another; any jeers or boos quieted when she passed by offending audience members, drowned by the charismatic aura radiating from her march to the ring. An ear-to-ear grin burned into the eyes of those who weren't distracted by her bountiful chest or cast-iron muscles, stomping about as she threw punches into poses, strikingly arrogant yet so animated nobody could really dislike it.

She had charisma, a lot of it, playing a time-honored role from her near-cartoonish swagger to her hilariously tacky bikini. Everyone could tell she was having fun, but there was a steeliness to herself, a slight stiffness notable with her rigidly entering the ring. The ropes looked like they might snap but for a brief secod, Ionel the 80's action movie villain was replaced with Ionel the serious, game-faced wrestler.

All the posters and promotional materials had emphasized the size difference between the two giantesses. A few weeks of polling suggested a squash. More than a little bit of the popular social media posts were talking that this would be a squash and not just in a figurative sense.

Ionel however, did not believe her own hype. Akira wasn't too impressive to her but there was something about her she could not place a finger on that made her wary. Something about that quiet and unassuming personality, as if there was a lake, calm and serene if only to hide a hidden threat beneath.

As she waited in her corner, Ionel wondered if tonight she was going to be playing beast-tamer on top of heel.
