JJJ might’ve been the luckiest woman in LAW.

That might’ve seemed like a crazy thing for a woman taking on someone twice her size to say, but thinking about it, she couldn't ask for a better opponent to kick off her career with. Taking on some jobber her own size wouldn’t have made waves, and there was no way they would ever let a greenhorn like her take on one of their golden girls. But a bruiser like this? Oh, she was perfect. It was an excellent way for a Giant Killer to start her career, and when she won, news would spread like wildfire. This sort of thing could have her out of the Young Lioness program in weeks, as opposed to months or even years.

So, when that kicked landed - a beautiful, flush, deadly snap kick - and Daiya went down like the world’s sexiest tree, there was no hiding the beaming smile on her face. Was that enough for a three-count? Maybe. It wasn’t her finisher, but head trauma had a way of catching people off guard sometimes, and she’d personally witnessed even fresh, strong fighters getting laid out by a lucky kick.

It was an opportunity she simply could not pass up. JJJ leaped on top of Daiya’s prone body, hooked a leg, leaned in for the pinfall, and waited for the referee to do her job.

”1…!”

And then everything went to shit.

JJJ let out a shocked squawk as they suddenly rolled over, with nearly two hundred pounds of weight coming down on top of her. It was solid weight, too - underneath those curves, Daiya had no shortage of inflexible muscle, pressing down on her, pancaking her, punishing her with relentless pressure. JJJ tried to kick her legs about, only for them to get wrapped up by her opponent’s thick pair, bundled like sticks. It was all she could do to keep her shoulders off the ground.

Wincing, she shook her head about in defiance, squirming this way and that, searching for even the smallest amount of give and finding nothing. ”If you don’t…if you don’t get off me right now, I swear, I swear-”

"Oh my dear girl, do shut up." Daiya tightened her grip and pressed down heavily on Jamie to cut off her threats. She'd had quite enough of the abrasive upstart running her mouth and the success of ruse meant she was finally in a position to do something about it. And what she was going to do was crush the gullible greenhorn and teach her a lesson in respect.

The crowd were solidly against her now. Daiya was the larger and more experienced wrestler and not only had she spent the majority of match being unable to even touch Jamie, the only way she had been able to turn the match around was with a cheap trick. Normally she could still get some cheers thanks to her sex appeal and her desire to entertain the crowd but all she wanted at that moment was to defeat Jamie. That ruthless side of her was not a crowd pleaser at all.

"Sorry to ruin your debut but I've no interest letting someone like you take the spotlight away from me." Daiya was timing her squeezing with Jamie's breaths, tightening as she inhaled to force the air out of her so she could wear her out as quickly as possible. Despite being in the dominant position, JJJ's performance had shaken Daiya's confidence. She had some ideas of how to win back the crowd with a humiliating and humbling end to the match but she wasn't going to take any risks. The lioness was far too dangerous for that. Daiya would try and make sure JJJ would be in no condition to turn the tide before she indulged herself in showboating.

Daiya was heavy.

Like, really heavy. Especially in comparison to JJJ.

That much was obvious to anyone with so much as a single working eye, but they had to truly be in this situation to appreciate the gravity of her predicament. With her used to be in standing fights, JJJ had never even been close to this situation before, and it was all she could do to keep her shoulders on the floor as this relentless weight pressed down on her.

It would’ve been bad enough if Daiya had just laid there, but no, she made it even worse than that, as she looped her arms around JJJ’s waist and began to squeeze and press and crush, flattening her innard with relentless pressure. ”Spotlight’s not big enough…not…not big…”

JJJ’s taunts were cut short, as she tried to inhale and found her lungs wanting, as if she were being smothered from the inside out. All she could do was keep her mouth open as a weak, raspy, wheezing noise coming, getting far less air than what her body needed. Growing more desperate with each passing second, she tried to push at the bigger woman’s thick arms, a feeble and futile attempt at freedom. ”Can’t…stop, can’t…breathe…”

Although Daiya had been scheming for a thoroughly disgraceful end to their bout, it seemed it might not even be necessary. Jamie simply seemed to have no answer for Daiya's hold. JJJ certainly had some impressive skills from her prior training but this seemed completely out of her comfort zone. She was flagging, growing desperate. The best she could manage was feebly trying to shove her way out of Daiya's grip.

A rookie mistake and one Daiya had seen many times before. Newer wrestlers often panicked in submissions like this and would try to loosen the hold at the arms to reduce the pressure on their bodies. But that would only work if she could compete with Daiya's raw power and Jamie was outmatched in that regard even before Daiya had started squashing the energy out of her. It probably would've been better for the kickboxer to stick to her strengths and try and land some strikes to force Daiya to release her. Although considering she'd only done kicks so far and Daiya had her legs locked down, she wasn't sure if Jamie could strike with the same ferocity with her punches as she could with her kicks.

Daiya was in no mood for imparting wisdom though. She had no desire to give future threats any assistance, especially one as aggravating as Jamie. The only thing she was in the mood for was punishing the upstart for her arrogance. She'd decided to spare her from the humiliating designs she'd come up with but she fully intended to crush Jamie into submission or unconsciousness, whichever came first.
"You'll breathe when I want you to, my dear girl. And thanks to you running your mouth, I am not feeling very generous. But if you were to apologize and give me your submission, I might change my mind." As the prospect of the lioness rallying seemed to grow dimmer by the second, Daiya would go for the finishing touch. She would apply all her strength and weight to raise the pressure to unbearable levels as she tried to end the match with one long, dominating squeeze. Her ultimatum was clear: Jamie would either have to succumb to Daiya's Confinement or she could end her punishment at the cost of shaming herself by surrendering.

”Get…get off…friggin’ bitch…”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, name-calling did nothing to convince Daiya that she should let up that fantastic position she was in. JJJ could safely say she’d never been in a worse position than this - perhaps because getting squashed like this wasn’t something that would ever happen in a kickboxing match, but still. Every wheezing breath was agony, and it felt like her chest could cave in at any moment. Bones cracking, organs squishing. She thought it couldn't get any worse.

And then it did.

JJJ’s eyes widened to saucers as Daiya applied her full power, pressing into her body with thick, unrelenting arms, a ruthless force that left her body trembling. It didn’t just hurt, though hell, did it hurt. No, the worst thing about it all was how she couldn't breathe. She tried to inhale, only to come up with nothing, as if she was being smothered from the inside out.

And it was having a rapid effect. Her flailing limbs faltered, her body slumped, as if the energy was being sapped straight out of her and into her bigger opponent. The world was growing dark and spotty, unconsciousness was closing in fast, and without any options, she did the only thing she could reasonably do. ”I…I gi...I…”

Her words came out weak and raspy, a whisper beneath the baying crowd. The audience had been growing louder ever since JJJ went down, always happy to see a young up-and-comer getting squashed, and it was obvious whose side they were on.

Re: Daiya Martinet vs. Jamie Janelle Jenkins - The Deep End

Daiya could feel a rush of elation flowing through her body. She was squeezing the life out of Jamie and the crowd were loving it. Hopefully that would be the thing that stuck in their minds when the match was over and not her embarrassing performance that had come earlier in the match. Feeling the lioness begin to slump in her hold, her defeat seemed almost a certainty. The Monégasque indulged in some showboating, wrenching JJJ's body in her grasp, trying to ragdoll and humiliate her for the howling crowd. Her elation became a feverish rush of victory as she was almost certain she heard Jamie give up.

Yet the bell did not ring. In fact the referee made absolutely no indication at all that she had heard Jamie's submission. It wasn't surprising: Jamie's voice had been a whisper barely on the edge of hearing and the roar of the crowd drowned it out almost completely. It wasn't a disaster, but Daiya defintely needed it to be rectified as soon as possible. She wanted to get her win and put the fact that a relative novice to the wrestling ring had almost knocked her out behind her. That her dominant start in L.A.W. had almost been derailed by an upstart like Jamie made her scalp prickle with shame.

"Referee, check her!" Daiya voiced her impatient command. The referee obliged getting close enough to hear Jamie even if she whispered, asking for confirmation of her surrender. Realizing that she was part of the problem herself, Daiya eased the hold a little. It was still tight enough to cause a submission but loose enough for Jamie to breathe without too much difficulty. Submitting would be probably be easier if Jamie could breathe, after all. Besides, despite her irritation with rookie, Daiya didn't want to actually injure her. Not just because it would be immoral, but because it would be unforgivably unprofessional. Daiya had no desire to risk her reputation and future at L.A.W. over a petty grudge.
