Debuts and Redebuts- Hoshiko Zawiślak vs Cassandra Selinofoto

“.. y-you.. sound like..”

She was gonna say Kate, having heard that one from the purple haired girl before. But.. Cass didn’t have it in her as she was slowly getting raised to her feet.

She’d take a step. She was dazed and Cass.. had very little left in her. Hoshiko knew it, Cass knew it.. and she was just about to push Hoshi away from her.. but..

Then disaster struck. Cass looked down and Hoshi’s knee went up. A sickening crunch sounded and Cass wailed in pain, a stream of fresh blood bubbling down her lips. Tears began to brew behind her eyes from the pain of it, a shiver running down her body as her hands cupped her mouth.

“ARGHHHH..!!! MMHPHH..!!!”

She’d cry out behind her muffled maw, her long black hair covering her matted face. Her mouth HURT like it was being boiled alive, and Cass was starting to shiver from the pain, barely able to stand. She had been taking blows to her chin all day.. and something had to give.

Something did. Cass was SURE she wasnt gonna be eating solid foods for a while, as her tearful eyes gave Hoshiko a death glare, shoving her shoulder into her with all the ill-intent she could muster up in her state!

'shit' Hoshiko thought seeing Cassandra's reaction to the blow. Getting hurt was part of the job in their business but it always sucked to know someone got seriously hurt by you, especially when you liked the person which Hoshiko, despite only meeting Cass in the ring just now, did. She couldn't be sure what happened just now but it was obvious enough it must have hurt like hell which was all the more reason to end it quickly.

Sending a hook to her opponent's liver, hoshiko hoped to make the woman lean forward after which she could effectively use her weight by jumping up, wrapping her legs around the woman's body to then fall with her on top. While it was not too strange in grappling in other forms of combat it would have been a poor idea, except Hoshiko had a plan, reaching her arm over Cassandra's shoulder, she would grab the woman's wrist while threading her other hand under her opponent's armpit to grab her own wrist and pull the kimura tight, dragging the woman's wrist back to her nack and forcing the elbow further behind her, making good on her promise to show Cass how this hold was done!

Cass would be.. fine, after a while. She just was having a rough time of it- this was the first match Cass ever had that got THIS brutal.

Later on, she would say she even enjoyed it a little. But.. for now? Agony. Pain hurtled through through her body as the liver shot dug true into her stomach, causing her to moan in pain and clutch her waist.

And then thighs wrapped around her sore waist, and Hoshiko pulled her down to the ground. She was on top? Cass didn’t get why, but.. she suddenly realised her arms.. she couldn’t move them. In fact, Hoshi’s warm hand wove through her limbs as Cass widened her eyes.

Too little, too late. Hoshi could see her eyes. Pain, and despair.. and defiance sunk in as the Kimura lock sunk in tightly. She was biting her lip to try and not cry out, struggling back and forth. Sharp, hot needles of agony threaded through her body, causing her to gasp.

“N-no.. I won’t.. I won’t.. AAAARGHHHH!!!”

For a brutal twenty seconds, Cass struggled in the lock. She tried to break free.. but then.. a ringing began to strum in her head. Her cheeks seemed oddly wet, as she realised.. some tears were starting to fall, down onto..

Hoshi’s face. Hoshi, who was torturing her. Hoshi.. who looked.. battle worn and.. beautiful, like a Valkyrie. Cass’s body began to seize up, as the lock tightened and her body just couldn’t take it anymore. Her defiance died out, and her head slumped down, her eyes glazing over with pain, forehead blankly on Hoshiko’s sternum.. as she’d hoarsely whisper her defeat.

“.. mercy.. i.. g-give up..”

Cass just lost her re-debut, and she wasn’t sure how to feel about that. But.. her agony was through the ROOF- and she had very little thoughts in her head but pain, barely able to formulate the sentence..!

Only Hoshiko and the referee heard Cass say she gave up and Hoshiko would release the hold immediately, on complete accident in perfect synch with the bell. She just wanted to go limp and sleep right where she was, she could not remember when was the last time she was so tired and bloody in a fight, she wasn't sure if she ever was but she won and while she was happy that she did of course, there were more important things.

She would unwrap her legs from around Cass and instead wrap her arms around her in a gentle hug. "Are you alright? I didn't hurt you too bad did I?" She asked genuinely worried though as she'd find out after the fight, she was not in the greatest shape either with a mild concussion and a cracked rip among plethora of cuts and bruises. "You were great"

Oh Hoshi thought she was gonna get an answer? No, no.. that was the folly of it. If she looked into her eyes, they were blank, no life in them at all.

Cassie was, as they say.. unconscious. She had used her last breath up, and after the match had been done, her adrenaline rush didn’t save her anymore. Her face was a mess- and now Hoshiko could really see what had happened- Cass had chipped her tooth from the strike, which gave her a kinda.. cute look.

Bloody, concussed, bruised.. with a fractured jaw, broken rib and twisted arm.. it was probably better that Cass sleep the pain off.

However. There was one thing. As Hoshi hugged Cass, she would find that the butterfly was.. really good to hug. Soft, warm and kind of.. cuddly. Just holding her like that felt comforting, as Cass’s soft breathing moved her up and down, her chest pressed against Hoshiko’s.

They looked cute like that.

It took a moment for Hoshiko to realize that Cass was out cold, this meant she'd have to wait for the girl to wake up to make sure she was ok but for now, she could enjoy the moment as hugging Cass felt not unlike hugging a huge plushy, though plushies were rarely as cute as the butterfly. Still, it made for quite a wholesome sight for the audience as well to see such a display of care from seeming strangers and after a hard fight like that to boot.

They would get to see it for a moment longer before Hoshiko would start getting up, picking Cassandra up and asking the referee to spread the ropes for them to go through more easily. They both needed to rest now and they'd get their wish after the audience cheers for both of them would quiet down.
