A High Class Clash: Velvet (debut) vs Danielle!!

"M-More...glamorous-!?" Danielle let out a gasp at the very mention of it. As grueling as the punishment she was enduring at Velvet's hands was, she at least had the solace of knowing that she would be forced to let go if she submitted...up until she didn't! Velvet wasn't just out to beat Dani - she wanted her cowed and humiliated into submission, so that the whole world would know who really reigned supreme between the two of them! Her eyes went wide, and a chill ran down her spine. The fact that she was tapping out at all was already a grave humiliation for Danielle - but now, Velvet wanted her to debase herself. To admit someone else at her better. To do so in anything would be painful - to do so in glamor and beauty would be even worse.

Yet, Danielle didn't really have much choice in the matter! As Velvet's legs clamped down tighter around Danielle's throat, the Frenchwoman let out a loud, rasping cough. Her body was growing stiff and heavy as the strength drained away from her, and the world around her spun and blurred. She already knew it would do no good to try and fight her way out - she didn't have the strength to do so, and in the position she'd been forced into, she didn't know if she could. For a fleeting moment, she considered it - maybe she should give Velvet what she wanted. But Danielle grit her teeth, nonetheless. She'd sooner die!

"N-Never..!" she huffed, her face contorted in a wince. "Go ahead...and choke me out, then..! Be happy with your beginner's luck-!" It might not be pleasant to go out this way - but at least she could do so with her dignity intact!

Velvet: Gr.. (She releases Danielle from Gogoplata before transitioning into a triangle choke) If ze Dead of Vinter won’t make you say it, zen maybe you need to be Put on Ice!!

With Velvet at last releasing her from the hold, Danielle panted for breath as she fell forward. As another lingering ache ripped through her body, she let out a hiss, her teeth clenching as her face contorted in a wince. Her head was still throbbing, and the world around her seemed like it was spinning - she was in no position to fight back, at this point. But she had made up her mind. She wasn't going to submit to Velvet, and she certainly wasn't going to tell this insolent brat what she wanted to hear. Maybe Velvet had gotten the better of her physically, but Dani still wouldn't dare concede her pride!

However...Velvet was going to make her regret that defiance! The redhead found her arm being pulled forward into Velvet's grasp, and she barely had any time to prepare herself before her legs were flung around her throat, restraining both her head and her shoulder! She barely had a moment's warning before Velvet began to squeeze - and, as she did, her whole body went stiff as the air was forced out of her. Against the pressure bearing down on her from all directions, her face grew red and her eyes bulged; her jaw fell open as she tried to cry out in pain, but she didn't have the oxygen to even do that! For a moment, Danielle's fingers clenched and unclenched - she thought about tapping out, and her hand began to tremble with the urge. But then she stopped herself. She couldn't - that would just give Velvet the vindication she wanted. And right now, that was a thought that seemed even more unbearable than the pain she was in!

Velvet: TELL ZEM RIGHT NOW OR I VILL F**** KILL YOU VERE YOU STAND!!!

Danielle's face was contorted in agony - her brows were furrowed, her face flushed red, and her teeth were locked in a rigid grimace. It wasn't even just from the pressure Velvet was exerting on her - in fact, right now, that seemed like the least of her worries. No matter how much Dani would like to claim to the contrary, there was no denying it. Velvet had her beat. She didn't have the strength to fight her way out - every muscle was hot and stiff, barely even responding when she tried to will herself to move. And now, Velvet was determined to make Danielle confess her own hopelessness to the world, forcing her to swallow her pride and admit that she couldn't measure up to her foe. The only saving grace Dani could think of was that she would at least go out on her own terms...but Velvet wasn't about to let her have even that!

When the Norwegian issued her threat, a chill ran down the back of Danielle's neck. Even when the world had fallen into a blur under a torrent of pain, what Velvet said still shocked her back into a cold, stark awareness of her surroundings. Her eyes went wide, and her ragged breaths fell still with a gasp. She knew that she was at Velvet's mercy. And she knew that nothing she could do was ever going to get her out of this. Perhaps at a time when she was more rational and had her wits about her, Danielle might have been able to think things through and plan an escape, or at least a retort that could preserve her dignity. But when Velvet threatened to kill her...after all she'd been through, Danielle had no intention of sticking around and finding out.

"N-Nngh...fine-!!" she said at last. "I'll say it...you...you're BETTER than me-!" She spat out the words with a cough, the bad taste lingering in her mouth. To even say such a thing in front of so many watching eyes made her skin crawl - but she had no other choice. "Just let me go..!"

Velvet releases her before kicking her in the stomach, causing the Frenchwoman to roll on her back.

Velvet: *Holding a microphone* Let zat be a lesson to all who dare oppose the Strongfoot fam, you ever THINK about trying to touch ze floof.. you vill SUFFER for your follies!! (She slams the microphone onto Danielle’s face before storming off back to the locker rooms)

Danielle had finally said the word - and at last, Velvet let her go. But not even the parting kick to her stomach left the Frenchwoman quite as sore as the knowledge she had been forced to admit defeat - and to concede her self-proclaimed status as LAW's most gorgeous and glamorous wrestler. She rose to her knees, clutching at her stomach not just from the blow she'd taken but from the nauseating sensation that was knowing that she herself had uttered such words, and with her teeth clenched in a wince, she looked down at the mat, too afraid to even face anyone watching. It wasn't fair, she thought to herself. She should well have been able to dominate Velvet any time - if you asked her, she was winning! But all it took was one wrong move, and Velvet had gone berserk - and Danielle just couldn't keep up. Could anyone really fault her? It was her debut match! How was she supposed to know she'd do that?

Dani was soon cut off from her thoughts, though, as Velvet slammed the microphone against her face! A crack of static rang out through the speakers, mixed with the redhead's yelp as Danielle was thrown onto her back rubbing her face, drawing a few chuckles from the crowd - chuckles that Danielle glanced back in the direction of with a hateful glare as she rose up to her side, still rubbing the soreness out of her jaw. When she looked back at Velvet exiting the ring, she hissed under her breath. She could never forgive her for this grievous insult!

But Danielle was in no position to take back any of her dignity right now. Crawling her way to the ropes, she slipped out of the ring and began the slow trek back to the locker room, keeping her head down and quite pointedly refusing to make eye contact with any of the idiotic boors who were heckling her on her way by. If she had any say in the matter, she would never speak of this again.
